Food is always hot. Service is the best and the waitresses are always amazing. Prices are good.

The setting is a little dark and aged, the frickers could use a makeover and freshen the place up. My server was on fire, heck she provided items for me without me even asking!! My food choice was breaded traditional wings in medium. Bought 10 and this was plenty for a late lunch. The ranch provided was a nice addition to the flavor of the wings. If Frickers's ownership read this...do a makeover of your interior design and decoration, lighten the place up some and you would get a 5 from me. read more

We ordered food over the phone and the incompetent pregnant teen behind the counter wasn't able to properly enter our order and when we got there, we checked the order (thank GOODNESS) bc it was cold, rubbery and there was sauce on. Chicken when it should have been on the side.... When we asked them to be remade, we could see all the severs and managers talking crap from the kitchen doorway.... Then they hooded out remake time 20 minutes... when we were told we wnat a discount we were laughed at and told no!!!! We love this place and always get good service until today. We sat at a high top in the bar, the table was dirty, but that wasn't a big deal because we figured the waitress would be around and clean it up and take our order. We sat there for 10 minutes as she passed by us at least six times and didn't acknowledge us one time. When she passed by us the seventh time with an empty tray, we asked her can you please clear our table and take our order and her response was I'm not taking your order at a dirty table. I don't have time. The Customer Service and the attitude that we got from this said waitress was deplorable and sadly we will no longer be coming here to make this our Sunday fun day. We will gladly take our business to Buffalo wild wings. I hope management takes care of this . Went here several months ago and honestly just have nothing very good to say. The food was really chewy, the staff was nice but extremely slow (even when my group of just two of us seemed to be the only people in the building aside employees), fries were mushy and cold, and the table was sticky plus had bits of food on it from prior customers. It's easy to say "well, it's a sports bar, what do you expect" but you can drive literally about 90 seconds north and go to one of their two other competitors for a way better time and way better food. "It's a sports bar" only works if every other sports bar in town is terrible, they aren't and so Fricker's just isn't good enough. I was going to give it 2 stars instead of 1 as it could be worse and the staff isn't rude, just slow, but the name also bothers me and their advertising and marketing in general just doesn't really belong in a small family oriented town. The name they chose belongs next to (or on) a strip club, not a sports bar, I don't need a play on vulgarity for every food item on the menu or all over the radio. Stopped here on the way from Indianapolis to Detroit. Needless to say it will be our last visit here. Place didn't seem short staffed and it wasn't very busy. The vibe is like most sports bars that serve beer and food. Took almost 20 minutes to get drinks and appetizer after order then another half hour after that the waitress came and said it would be 20-30 more minutes to get food. Several people were walking out as frustrated as we were for not getting food. Food and service has been great in the past, will probably. It return to this location. read more

I really like Frickers although I have to say everything about their Defiance location was just kind of average. In general they are a far superior alternative to BW's when it comes to value, quality, and portions. Sitting at the bar, I felt I was just getting in the way of the bartenders because they had other responsibilities of cleaning, stocking, and prepping for dinner. I won't say they gave me attitude, but would say they made me feel like I was there last priority and more like an inconvenience than a customer. They have a great selection of beers, unfortunately I only got one. They must have thought I was toasting them when I was waving my empty bottle halfway through my meal because I was never offered another. So I just drank my water and enjoyed my meal. This experience was not bad, but it could have been made a lot better with faster and friendlier service. Never feel I am getting overcharged for what I get at Frickers though I left feeling I was shortchanged on the service. I will give this location another try if I am in the area. I am hoping someone was overwhelmed or just having a bad day rather than getting stuck with an indifferent employee that could care less. read more

Started off bad. Was told we had to wait outside although NO ONE after us did. Took neatly 15 minutes to get a drink after we were seated. Service was spotty at best. Room had food and other debris all over the floor. Place was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. On top of all that, the food was sub-par, at best. We won't be back. read more

Big, bright - nice sports bar atmosphere. Food is OK - had chicken bites that I thought I ordered as mild spicy but were pretty bland - almost tasteless. The beer is cold, nice selection. The bartenders and wait staff are nice looking, which always helps. Like most sports bars, a lot of guys at the bar - most women here are having dinner with their husbands or boyfriends, so take your Singles Search elsewhere. There are two other places of very similar type within a square mile of here (BW3 and Jerseys) - so I think the Sports Bar market in this small town is over-saturated. My family and I have gone to this place once or twice a week for years. It's been going downhill. The food isn't that great, the burgers are dry and overdone. The chicken is like chewing in rubber. There is a lot of overturn in their wait staff and the managers are rude and don't care about their customers and business. We waited am hour and a half for our dinner we never get because the waitress kept forgetting and ignoring us. And it wasn't busy when we got there, but when we left there was a half hour wait for a table. read more

It's new and even though I gave 3 stars I kinda like it. It's cheap and the food is mostly just fried stuff but it all tastes pretty decent and there a couple good appetizers. Mostly stick to wings and fried pickles and I think you'd be happy. Also was told the popcorn shrimp is good. read more

I'm giving 2 stars because the wings were good. But my issue came with the service. I heard a server say they weren't expecting that night to be as busy, but that doesn't pass as reasonable for me. Now for my time there: Bone-In wings were big, lot of meat on them, and looked like a good wing. My boneless wings were good chicken nuggets (isn't that what boneless wings are?). It was 59 cent wing night, but both people I went with were charged $16.99 for 20 wings, so no deal was applied. Normally we would have sorted it out with the server, but we had been there for 60 minutes at this point and just wanted to pay and leave....but we couldn't, because our server got the bills wrong 3, yes 3, times. We waited another 20 minutes to simply pay, one of us went and found the hostess: "Hey can you just ring us up so we can get out of your hair?" "Unfortunately we have individual cards so your server has to do it." "What do I have to do to pay and leave?" "Just sit and wait patiently." Finally or server came back with corrected bills and swiped our cards, all fine and dandy. Then I come out of the restroom lol o find out she mixed up the cards and receipts. Really not that big of a deal independently but when you add 5 total mistakes on service it's hard for me to justify a good wing. I would go back to give them a second chance. Took the family here. I had the steak medium, my son had the ribs. Steak was well done and fatty, the ribs were pure fat. Now, I'm not the type to complain, but these were inedible, and we waited an hour to get our food. The manager was very nice and credited us, plus gave a gift certificate. I thought this was exceptional of him. Fast forward 2 months- wanted to give them another chance, plus had the gift cert to use. Went in, they weren't especially busy, but it was still an hour to get our food. My sons steak (medium) came rare, our order was wrong, and I couldn't figure out why the cooks can't cook properly and take an hour when it was less than half empty. I was ready to give them another chance, but they are so poorly run with poor quality food. Too bad since Defiance has so few restaurants to begin with. We will not be back. read more

Wings were over cooked, ribs were rubber, bathrooms were dirty (so gross, I won't even describe what was dirty about them). The restaurant itself was so dark in lighting you could barely see enough to read the menu. Visited Fricker's in Defiance, OH to watch a sporting event. Once we were seated the server was very rude from the get go when acquiring about specials. Throughout the duration of the evening we ordered some appetizers and a round of drinks. Our order was not made correctly and we politely asked the server if she could correct the issue in any way. She stated that we would have to talk to the manager. After speaking with the manager, he acknowledged that they had made a mistake and would find a way to correct it. During the conversation our server sat at the bar and stared rudely at us while conversing with the manager. Throughout the duration of the night our server was not attentive, the place was not busy and she was too busy chatting with the bartender, and we would have to stop her multiple times to request service as she never stopped by our table. When the bill arrived, the mistake was never corrected and once again the manager came over. At this time he got extremely rude and basically told us to deal with it, even after admitting fault. Fricker's used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but the last few experiences have been sub par and this latest experience has been the final straw. I suggest not eating here unless you want rude service and sub par food. read more

This place is like a generic Buffalo Wild Wings, only not as good. The wings were so over cooked and dry, it was like eating bones. Barely any sauce on them, either. Bartender was just as bad. I ordered a mudslide and she brought me Kahlua on ice. I suggested that she blend the ice and top it with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, and she said "I'll keep that in mind", and walked away. I ordered boneless wings and 45 minutes later no wings got up and left probably got lucky after reading food reviews.

Best wings in town. Occasionally get a wrong order, and service can be hit or miss. But I just can't resist those wings.
