Absolutely the best place (IMHO), to get your Mexican food fix in Gillette. Establishment mad spotless, service was fast and friendly. The chips and salsa were, in my opinion again, the best I can recall having. The salsa is more purée style than chunky/pico style. I had the Carne Asada and it was a hot, including the rice and beans. The side of Guacamole had great flavor as well. Don't let the strip-mall appearance fool you, this place is worth the stop!

Food was very good and came out in a timely manner. The flavors were just right and the amount of food was more than what we could finish. The corn tortillas are made fresh and taste very good. Service was excellent, place was clean, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Not the best Mexican food I've had. It was not authentic at all. The service was good but that was about it. Won't be going back.

We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. The service was awesome as well! Try the Cancun enchiladas. They are exceptional!

Unreal!!! Delicious food!…read moreSeriously the best authentic Mexican food in town Service is always A+++++ Environment and ambience aren't the best in the old gas station, but they make up for it with the amazing food. Mexican food truly does not get any better in my opinion anywhere in the world!!

Mmm mmm mmmmMMM! Another crappy experience with United at airport, never got out of Gillette, so had to stay at my go to, Super 8. Got settled in, needed to fill the stomach. And there it was, where a Burger King once stood tall, an Authentic Mexican restaurant experience, inside the Shell gas station. Boom. As I mentioned, just wanted food, not expecting much. Looked over the extensive menu, and found what I was looking for, shredded beef tacos.... I ordered up 3 of these beauties, at a fair price.... Also ordered up a big ol' chicken and rice burrito for good measure. The food came fast! Thank goodness because I was HUNGRY. Even got to listen to the young crooner behind the counter sing along with some of his favorite fiesta songs. That kid could sing. He served up my food with a smile, I Grabbed some red sauce and green sauce, and carried away my treasure, back to the hotel. Jumped all over the tacos first, wow! So good! Then the burrito, not quite as great as the tacos but still great. Tried both sauces, the red was a bit too firey for this old timer, so stuck with the green, a nice tangy blend to enhance the flavor of the delicious south of the border treats. Let's just say I went to bed happy and full and will be back to Albertanosfor more. Don't miss this hidden gem in the Shell gas station, where your Mom and Dad's Burger King once reigned supreme. Boom Shaka laka!!!

There are a few times in one's life when one's priorities telescope onto a single thing, when there…read moreis only one thing that means anything, one thing that can bring joy, one thing that can quell the restless hunger inside. Previously, I experienced this type of desperate yearning with respect to Taco Bell only on a few short-lived, drunken occasions, but recently I experienced a hunger-induced revelation so intense that I felt the need to visit Gillette, Wyoming to fulfill it. Here's what happened: a companion and I decided to spend 5 uninterrupted days in the backcountry wilderness, with the only hints of civilization being the very occasional interaction with other backpackers. The trees were beautiful, the mountains, majestic, but for nearly the entire time I felt a profound empty space within the most base, human part of myself. For the first time in my highly privileged life, I found myself days away from any human food. Any other time, I could hypothetically hop in the car or walk a couple blocks and receive hot, greasy food for a few dollars, but in the backcountry, no such option existed. All that was available to me were sickly sweet cliff bars and salty, but profoundly cheerless, ramen, and I felt the absence of the usual option acutely. Do I normally like fast food? No, absolutely not--I think that most people who camp for fun tend to value their health too much to eat fast food regularly. But in the backwoods, in my calorie deficient state, fast food was all I deserved. How could I possibly muster the energy to crave five-star meal fluff? How could I desire delicious, but calorically deficient and impractical items like fruit and vegetables? How could I want anything but blissfully synthetic nacho cheese, crunchy taco shell brazenly inserted into a warm tortilla, bean juices happily mingling with sour cream to create something only distantly recognizable as food? In the backcountry, I felt as if I barely existed, so how could I possibly want anything as pretentious, as lofty, as arrogant, as the healthy food I eat in my normal life? The only thing that could make me feel human again, amongst the celestial might of the mountains, the bears that could kill me in an instant, the weather that could turn at any moment and strike me down, is the Crunchwrap Supreme. Tasting the Crunchwrap Supreme after several days of wanting it more than anything else made me appreciate it for what it is--an unpretentious dish capable of filling any physical or emotional hole. Is it a true culinary advancement? No, absolutely not--but also, it kind of is. Hike for days on end and then decide for yourself. I give Taco Bell 4 stars, because we were charged extra for substituting beef for beans and I do not care for that one bit #vegetarian

I waited nearly an hour for two concurrent orders--one of which was literally just two tacos. The lobby was packed with waiting customers, and the environment felt entirely chaotic (including an incapacitated customer whose belongings were scattered across the floor with no staff intervention). To make matters worse, the staff missed the drinks for the larger order, forcing me to go back inside. When I asked for an update on the food, the employee was entirely unhelpful, prioritizing lecturing me on name pronunciation rather than actually checking on the order progression. This isn't a one-off issue; I experience massive wait times here consistently, whether I'm delivering or ordering personal food, regardless of the time of day.
