We brought cooked/frozen Samoan food for our PA family (IYKYK), and I was worried because our NY hotel did not have a restaurant/freezer space for us to use. Checked Yelp and Armato Ice & Firewood Co. popped up. I messages the number at 8pm, and Tony responded within 15min. I explained the situation, and he apologized because he said my order was too small for a delivery (I only needed 5lbs), so I would have to pick up dry ice from their shop on E 88th Street. Cool, no problem. Next morning, 8:30 am, i went to business address to pick up 5lbs, and called Tony but he was stuck in rush hour traffic for another hour. He graciously offered to drop off dry ice to my hotel before noon, during their normal deliveries. Even though it was a small order, he understood my situation and cared enough to help me keep my food frozen for the next few days, so my PA family can enjoy authentic Samoan food. Thank you for your help, Tony! Your kindness and efficiency shows that the Aloha spirit exists in New York! Mahalo

Places like Rite Aid in my building started stocking up on ice. This company is on notice 24 hours and will deliver it to your home or business. This morning the very friendly employees were loading the freezer in my neighborhood. These are well stocked for the delivery men to pick up the ice for delivery when you need ice. I'm telling you that if you have a picnic or big celebration you will have plenty of ice and it's delivered to your door. I'm recommending!

He posted all good woods on his website and delivered all the craps to people. My husband spent hours to clean up. Pick up some few good pieces.

Im this middle of a long text back and forth, he still wouldn't anawer his phone. I told him I'm not happy, can we work something out, he proceeded tell me that I have to let it season for a couple weeks. Nothing like this was said when delivered, we wanted wood for Christmas to burnright away, you don't buy firewood to wait a few weeks to use it. Then he proceeded to tell me maybe I'm not burning it correctly, what?? I have started dozens of fires in this fireplace with no issue. He is a bad businessman. Don't use. UPDATE: the wet ash that this company delivered, even the logs that are inside my house, are not burning well a month after delivered. so i bought some other ash from a reputable businessman that will pick up the phone when I call and it has been burning great! Still, don't use no matter how many of his friends he has leave 5 star reviews. When I told Anthony that the ash he delivered me is wet, he texted back "Fake News". So you know what type of person this is. Be warned!

The bread basket on the table and the sandwich bread was exceptional. The sauce on the seafood dish was superb, light and a perfect accompaniment to the dish. To start,…read morethey bring out some ciabatta (?) bread, which was crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. For food, we decided to order a bunch of things to share: -Zucchini fritte (with lemon aioli dipping sauce) - this was thin and perfectly crispy but somehow not oily. It was addicting -Arancini - these were okay. Could have used more meat -Margherita pizza - can't go wrong with a margherita. I do wish the actual crust was thinner -Meatball & Co pizza (meatballs, sweet sausage, cherry peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella & ricotta cheese) - same with the crust situation. The description also said cherry peppers but they also added jalapenos, which is not a big deal - just a call out. The sausage was alright -Seafood fra Diavolo (sauteed clams, calarami, mussels, spicy tomato sauce) - sauce could have used a bit more spice. They don't skimp on the seafood though. I was pleasantly surprised by the calamari, which can taste rubberband-y but that wasn't the case here -Tiramisu - tasted fridgey/supermarket-bought -Affogato - a nice way to end the meal. Made me wonder why I don't make more affogatos at home Overall, it the meal was fine. Is it something I'd crave for? I don't think so. Well, maybe except that zucchini fritte. I wouldn't mind ordering that again. Tip - BYOB (there's a liquor store across the street)
