He did a great job explaining what happened, what alternatives there were, and in general, his problem-solving skills were top notch. He started with the least expensive option of trying to fix it first, though he wasn't/isn't sure if it would work or not. Because of this, he said that they would guarantee it for a couple months and if it doesn't hold, they will apply it towards me either purchasing a new panel or a new garage door, if the panel is not available. Eventually I screwed it up more and asked him to come out and he quickly responded and did. I'm glad that I did because not only did he find a solution for my issue (where as other vendors I spoke too just told me they couldn't fix it and they would install a new motor. He also went up and out of his way to check every part evening cleaning up, adjusting, and mounting them better. Also reprogrammed every thing to there was no weirdness after he left. The attention to detail you rarely find nowadays with companies.
