I called TLGD to come and fix my garage door because it wasn't closing on it's own and they fit me right into their schedule that same week. They came right on time when they said they would and I explained what was going on with my garage door. The guy who came out to do the job took less than 20 minutes to fix the issue and was very efficient and knowledgeable. If I knew it was going to be this easy for someone to fix my garage door, I would've called way sooner. My garage door is working perfectly and has been ever since TLGD fixed it about 4 months ago and I am so very pleased. Called to confirm they were going to be late for appointment and didn't have address. I greeted them at my door with a mask and had them drive around to the alley to access garage, two guys, no masks. Forgot discount when trying to bill me. Stapled their business card to my garage wall and had no means to process payment via card, had to call office with information. Not impressed. Had to wonder how thorough they could be when they were here for about 10 minutes. read more

Wow... and I had dreaded a garage door repair for almost a year! My new husband had such a horrible experience trying to get his newer garage door repaired on multiple occasions, not terribly far away, in Perry Park, that I procrastinated fixing my garage door for about nine months. Finally I was motivated enough for a few reasons and made a couple calls. One call was in response to an ad listing in Colorado Springs when I typed in my Google search. Then I went on the Nextdoor app and looked to see who was recommended. I found this company highly recommended and tried them, too. It was a holiday weekend and the owner apologized he was at a marriage retreat and couldn't respond sooner. No problem... I hadn't anticipated anything sooner than the first work day a couple days later. And it wasn't an emergency (certainly not after I had already lived without it for so many months!). Still he scheduled and sent out someone on President's Day. His staff guy worked in the freezing cold and helped me program my car remote buttons after his primary work was complete. And charged me such a reasonable amount. Had to write and spread the word of recommendation. It was easy to find them on Google Search. But when I searched Garage Door Repairs near Monument they didn't show up at all. I guess they have to pay something to get on Yelp?! I thought Yelp at least DISPLAYED non-paying businesses, even if at the end. A couple dozen showed up in my search, all from Colorado Springs, even though I intentionally searched on Monument. Hmmmm. The previous owners of this home used them to "service" the garage doors as per our inspection objection document. The home inspector said the doors and openers were in desperate need of repair. We are one month into owning the home, and both doors are complete inoperable. Tri-Lakes receipt says doors were inspected and operating fine and sensors were "repaired and working". Not sure how a professional company like this can miss completely broken/worn out hinges, loose tracks, misaligned doors (daylight coming through one side of door), faulty sensors and door springs that are not adjusted (door falls to floor when open is disengaged). We had 2 other door companies out to look a them and they were both disappointed with the work performed by Tri Lakes. We removed the "service" sticker that they left behind and tossed it to the trash. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience. I mangled my garage door in a freak accident and couldn't shut it, and Tri-Lakes got a team out the same morning. They did a great job salvaging the current door and getting it working in a short time and for a very reasonable service charge.
