They definitely live up to their name "friendly"! I'm so thankful my friend told me about this small family owned business. You can tell they really care about the work they do. From the reasonable pricing to the in depth itemized receipt they give you at the payment. It says everything they did and found and what they would recommend doing which they verbally also tell you at the end. I got a wheel alignment, oil change, and my rear breaks done all for just 220 when I normally go to pep boys it would probably cost somewhere around 400, maybe a little more. Charlie saved us $2250!!! Our AC on Volvo XC90 was broken and according to the quote Pep Boys gave us, we need to pay at least $2300 to fix the problem (the mechanic said he didn't go crazy on this one): we have to change our compressor and condenser because they were leaking and damaged. We were desperate and a friend referred us to Charlie. His quote was only half of the price based on the quote from Pep Boys and upon examination of our car, he found that only the condenser needs to be changed. As a result, we only paid $388 to get our super cool air! Now, no more open window on highway! What a life saver!!! We were so happy with the service so we bring our other car Volvo S60 to him because the brake and fuel booster was hissing for years.. It was a small noise at the beginning but getting worse recently. We had a quote several years ago from a mechanic Tim with very good reputation and good price back in Pittsburgh for $1000. Charlie changed our booster for $650!!! Now the car is super quite:) So in total, Charlie saved us around $2250!!! What can be said about this? He could have done the same and charged us that much, but he didn't. He also gave us free warranty on roadside assistance (towing/jump starts/flat tire), which he gives all his customer for free. I would highly recommend you to repair your car with Charlie. He is a honest and experienced master mechanic (he has a plate of certification at his garage office), who is willing to help you out when your car is broken rather than digging every cent out of your wallet. First time customer. Had a Honda Accord issue with ABS and ODB codes that baffled other mechanics to make a reasonable assessment of what exactly was wrong and how to repair. Another mechanic recommended Charlie as the guru doctor for Honda work. In two hours he had made the diagnosis correctly and repaired all the problems at a very reasonable price. He tells you upfront what everything will cost and request you sign a repair order. Once he finds the problem he will show you what exactly went wrong with the parts and why they needed to be replaced to correct the situation. Maybe they're not as "friendly" with all their customers or potential customers. Good thing I have run-flats on my '14 Bmw 528. Went to them for a simple tire fix, which I already knew could be plugged, because it was on the inside of the tread. But i was told they can't do it, and I need to buy a new tire. Needless to say I left, went to another tire place and was in and out within 10 mins. read more

What a nice and honest guy! Hope people see my review and try this shop! My engine light went on for a quiet a while. I went to places to get estimates, from $600-$750 even "not sure depends on what needs to be repaired." So , i was thinking that I might need to spend at least $1000 in order to fix this problem. A friend of mine suggested me to checkout this shop. Charlie was so upfront and professional, I was told that he will charge me $35 for diagnosis, he told me that my car has no big problem but needs to replace a parts. He ordered the parts and replaced for only $26! What! From $700 to less than $50 ! Definitely the go to place for all my car issues in the future and highly recommended! read more
