I called Friendly Tree Care on Monday and Fabian returned my call fairly quick! He came over in the evening after his day to give us a estimate on getting two trees removed. I was glad they were able to get over so fast to give us the estimate. Gustavo, Fabian's business partner, was also there and we were ably to meet him as well. They looked at our project and give us a verbal estimate, later that evening I received an e-mail from Fabian with the written estimate. They were able to come over two days later to do the work. We were not home when they started, but, they communicated to us when they would be there (we let them know when we met them we didn't need to be there). When I got home I was happy to see the trees were gone and they cleaned up pretty good. Everything we agreed on was completed to our full satisfaction!!! I had a great experience with this company. The office responded promptly in contacting me to schedule a date for someone to come out and quote my work. Fabian was professional, friendly and really knowledgeable. I basically asked him what every tree and shrub around my whole house was and he knew quite a lot about everything. Highly recommend! Would give 6 stars if I could... I needed very mature (dead) liquid ambers that needed removal asap. A fourth one had already blown over in a storm, taking out our power and heat for 2 weeks. We didn't want a repeat--or worse. Fabian came in about $1000 less than three other quotes I received. Service was on time and his crew worked incredibly fast. His company is bonded and insured, and he showed me his license without me asking. The day of their appointment , I was supposed to call SMUD to have our power line disconnected from the roof--to make it easier to work and eliminate risk of it getting damaged--but I was busy and forgot. Fabian was unfazed, worked around it and didn't charge extra! While they were onsite, I had them take out a couple more small trees for a small added fee, and they removed another partially cut trunk at no charge. I have used Fabian and his crew for years to trim my palm tree, oleandar hedges, and whatever else came up. He has always been friendly, punctual, highly competent, and quite reasonable in price compared to other larger companies with big payrolls. Recently he went out of his way to be of service. My wife was desperate to have our neighbor's sun blocking trees topped off to let more sunlight hit and warm our pool. I got the neighbor's permission and had Fabian do the job. After he left I saw the job was perfect, except he had misunderstood how I wanted the neighbor's palm cut back. This palm was not a tree that grew straight up. It grew in a very wide fan shape. I wanted the entire fan cut horizontally so it ran parallel to the top of my back fence and became invisible. Fabian thought I wanted it pruned verticially. When I texted him the photos and explained what I had tried to communicate, he promptly and without protect agreed to come the following week without charge to fix it. He and his crew came by today and did exactly as promised with no extra charges of any kind. I can't see the fan shaped palm anymore and the sunlight is pouring in from where it used to be blocked.
