My first time here. The place is very clean and the staff was very friendly. I had eggs and my husband had potato pancakes. Both were great. The only question I had was they advertised the OJ has freshly squeezed and I don't think it was... it was a little sour to me and not sweet. But that was the only fault I had. Bp chain rebranded to sound like a local stop. Usually these are called rplace. If you need to stop for gas it seems like a nice enough truck stop. I have to say I wanted to hTe this place, because of what I feel blatant false advertising in the name.  The staff was congenial and attentive.  The coffee was OK, but it was kept full.   The southern benidict was pretty good as well.  This was so my only option for breakfast after 12.  The hash owns were over salted, the patties were packaged, and biscuits were frozen but it all came together to taste OK.   Overall it is a place on the side of the expressway so it is convenient.  The staff was really the only stand out part.  So that added a star. read more

The food was excellent. The portions exceeded acceptable, as did the service. Had a steak dinner. Fresh baked bread, with generous butter supplied, something you won't find anymore. Far better than any chain, with friendly smiles to go along with. I even had dessert. Chocolate cream pie was outstanding. I'm a very picky eater when it comes to dining out. I have never had a meal here I didn't like. The portions are big and prices are low. Everything I've had on the breakfast menu was delicious. I absolutely love the crepes with fruit or the stuffed French toast. Their omelettes and eggs Benedict are also good. On Friday they have a great fish fry. We have driven past this place for years on our way up the Minocqua . I said to my husband there is always a ton of cars in the parking lot. It is attached to a gas station but don't let that fool you ! We were pleasantly surprised and thrilled to find a place like this. Our last trip up was the third time we've been here and still everything was excellent. My husband who is a breakfast guy enjoyed the generous portion of a skillet . I'm a lunch gal and really enjoyed the gyros platter and I've also had a Ruben on our trip before. They have a variety of sandwiches and dinners....you will not be disappointed !
