Such a cute shop that seems to be a neighborhood staple. The staff was so friendly and helped guid us to delicious decisions. They offer samples of their ice cream to ensure you are picking one you will enjoy. The churro bars are similar to sundays/blizzards and come with warm gooey churros in them. The menu had lots of good appetizer like foods on the menu and they were intriguing, like Mexican street corn cups and all that. But, my mission was ice cream. The whole place smelt like churros so I had to get an order of churros on the side, they were great! Crispy and warm. As far as ice cream they had a bunch of flavors, some more different than others but definitely a variety. The staff at the counter let me try a few and they were all good, the stand outs were the avocado, baileys and the flavor of the month banana. I picked the banana, it tasted like there were caramel swirls in there too. Very good. There was lots of inside seating and the decor was cute. Small parking lot in back. Great treates (5 stars) but no organization (1 star)! We stopped in recently with our whole family. The pros included: a great selection of tasty treats, sundays, churros, homemade ice cream, other types of sides Including Mexican corn. We all tried a variety of ice cream desserts and enjoyed the quality of everything. It's a fun place and nice addition to local Appleton businesses! It's a huge inside, there's plenty of seating and they have nice tables outside for enjoying your tasty treat in the summer. ---------------------- Cons- there is no flow! Tiny area for ordering! The menu board is not in a good area for viewing from the ice cream station. Once you are ready to order you have to step out of the corner and try to find the end of the other line to the register. There were so many people jammed, no one knew where the line ended and people were cutting in front of each other!! The owner needs to hire more staff, It took us about 30 minutes to receive our ice cream. We counted 1 girl at register and 2 behind counter. They were very nice but unfortunately very slow. The whole place was backed up. I'm so happy for this new local business but since the owners know they are swamped they need to hire more staff to service the clientele. We as a family look forward to going back and trying more items on their menu... But we are going to wait a few months until the newness wears off... and its not so busy. We simply do not wish to wait 30 minutes for a dessert we can simply make at home in a couple of minutes. Congrats to the owners! read more
