Rue is super patient and knowledgeable. I explained to her all my concerns and what I've tried and she guided me to my best options. I am still trying some od her advices but I am very pleased with our meeting. You can also meet online because of the Pandemic. I just think that your first appointment should be in person so she can take a real look to baby's latch, positions, etc. She is very busy so plan ahead. I know it could be impossible with a baby and with turning of events, but try your best so you can resolve any issue fast :) The meeting will be very private. You feel like all the attention is focused on you Bring all your stuff so she can take a look to it too.

Rue and Maria gave us all the information and support we needed to feel in control. The team guided us before, during, and after delivery, answering all sorts of questions my husband and I had. They also taught us a lot about the breastfeeding process and labor techniques. They made my labor and delivery experience so joyful, I have nothing but good things to say about The Perfect Push. If this is your first baby or felt like prior labor experiences could've been better, I highly recommend setting up a consultation and you'll see how they take care of you from the start.

After some time, I learned a lot of the not so great things that happened to me with both first and second births were extremely avoidable. A lot of resentment followed those births for quite some time. All that to say, with my third birth, as time has passed, I have grown more and more infatuated with the whole experience. Teri and Teree are truly a match made in heaven. They balance each other out so well. Teri is extremely detailed and informative. My postpartum was night and day compared to previous births and I truly owe that to this team. I had a complete second degree tear and partial third and Teri went to work!! You are in great, if not the best, hands if you do tear under her care. I'm still so amazes at her craftmanship. Teree, gosh I just want to be best friends with her. We laughed, prayed, and connected. She brought an immense amount of peace and joy to my birth. She is a true servant, and equipped with so much knowledge. I would most definitely recommend BundleBorn and would use again if not moving. I love these women. They run their business beautifully (S/O to Katherine), they are caring and gentle yet professional and stern. God Bless!

Overall I do appreciate everything that Dr. Teri has done and getting our son delivered. I really don't remember much of the labor but the feedback from my family wasn't the best in regards to her being clean with her tool etc. I am a first time mom and I truly enjoyed the homebirth. I would never want to have a hospital birth. I highly recommend having a home birth. I am very happy to have my beautiful son and I couldn't have done that without Teri, my amazing doula and family by my side.

She did not communicate to my husband not to change my son's diaper after she weighed my son and then became frustrated with my husband once she learned he had changed the diaper after the weigh-in. How were we supposed to know?! She gave us no indication of what she was doing and why. She grabbed my breast without asking permission. An appointment with a lacatation consultant doesn't automatically give you the right to grab me; please ask permission first or give a lady some heads up as to what you're going to do and why. Cleo was very disparaging about my son's circumstances and literally told me before she left "good luck, you're going to need it". WOW, way to kick me in my already ripped up and sore crotch. As a medical professional, its just as important to provide your patients with compassion as it is to provide them with your medical expertise. A mother reaching out for help from a consultant, is a mother coming from a place of need, understanding and guidance. Be gentle with us.

We had such an amazing experience at the beautiful and welcoming Frisco Birth Center for both births and formed a truly special relationship with Margie that will never be forgotten. Margie is an incredibly kind, gentle, supportive, knowledgeable, and professional midwife who genuinely cares about her clients in a way that is rare in any medical setting. Throughout pregnancy, she promptly answered any questions or concerns that arose, even making herself available between visits as needed, despite her busy schedule. Our older children came with me to prenatal appointments and they adore her as much as we do! She took the time to teach them and let them get involved in finding baby's heartbeat and position, which helped them get so excited to meet their new sibling. Leading up to the birth, we had some unusual findings in one of the blood samples that were run, and she put in extra time and effort to help us find the answers we needed to feel confident in our birth plan. There was also a risk of hemorrhage, but she wisely helped us weigh all of our options before, during, and after the birth so that we could have the safe and beautiful delivery we hoped for. Margie and her assistant midwife, Neta (who is also wonderful), accurately assessed the health of both mom and baby and responded quickly and professionally to any concerns that arose, including a very fast transition and delivery and maternal bleeding. We felt completely safe and empowered throughout the entire process because of Margie's clinical skill and compassionate demeanor. Birth can be unpredictable, and we felt well-informed and supported through every decision. After the birth, her standard of excellence continued, as she made multiple home visits to check on mom and baby and helped empower us make the decisions about his health we were uncertain. We are so grateful to know Margie and would highly recommend that others make the same choice if they are looking for a kind, gentle, trustworthy, skilled, and dedicated provider who truly cares.

If you are seeking kind, compassionate, evidence-based care and an empowering out-of-hospital birth…read moreexperience, look no further than Margie Wallis and Frisco birth center! My first birth was at a hospital and after doing thorough research, I realized that I deserved better than the care that I had received and knew that I needed a different experience. For my second birth I gave birth at Allen Birthing Center which was fantastic! This third time around, I decided to do several interviews of midwives in the area. I felt an instant connection to Margie and I knew that I wanted to go with her. I was having some financial issues at the time but she allowed me to make a payment plan and get a substantial discount. She really does care about people and want to help in any way possible. If you have formerly received obstetric care, I think you'll find that out-of-hospital midwifery care is a night and day opposite experience. Obstetrics focuses mostly on the baby and is very fear-based. Margie is very holistic in her methods and believes in the woman's body's capability to birth. She knows that the mother's emotional state is just as important as what is going on with her physically. Through our appointments I let her know my goals for my birth, including my desire to birth in an upright position. She made sure that all of my wishes were respected and I obtained the ultimate birth experience that I desired! I am forever grateful for her and consider her a friend. Ladies, please don't be fearful! Our bodies were created for this. Should a hospital transfer be desired or necessary, there is always a plan B and C for those scenarios. If you are having trouble getting your husband on board, I highly recommend having him watch "The Business of Being Born." Midwifery care is actually MUCH cheaper than standard prenatal care and hospital birth. If you choose Margie to help fulfill your prenatal, postnatal and childbirth needs, you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend!!!
