We used ADC for tax returns for our personal and small business taxes for the last 6 years. We were…read morevery happy until this year. We were just informed today, April 23rd, that they are no longer working with our type of taxes. (Their website still states that they do!) They said that we should have received an emaI to inform us back in December. We didn't receive any email (Yes, we checked Spam.) In past years, Abby had told us that they automatically file extensions for their clients if we are not ready by March 15th each year. We assumed that would also be the case this year. Before April 15th my husband called the office, but his calls went directly to voice mail. He left messages and his calls were not returned. Emails were responded to with auto replIes stating they would respond shortly. No response though. No extension was filed and now we are scrambling to find another CPA. We hope that we will not be incurring any penalties as a result of their lack of follow through and unprofessional approach. With the critical announcement of losing their services, shouldn't they have asked for confirmation that we understood we could no longer count on them?

Do not go here! Pam Howard met with me Feb 12 to review my…read moretax documents. Then advised she would complete and I could pick them up at April 2nd appt at 3pm. On April 2, we walked in and the secretary told us she was not there. She was at a smoke break. She advised that we should drop our documents off. I reminded the secretary that we already met in February and we were there to pick up the finalized documents. She had them in the front drawer and handed them to me. Nothing was done on them. She had no explanation. Just then another couple entered the office and also said they had a 3 PM appointment. It was the same story for them. They had provided the documents online a month ago. The woman told her to drop them off today. They said they already had done that. She was not there for the 3 o'clock appointment out for a smoke break. No one was in the office but the secretary. It's April 2 only two weeks left before the deadline for taxes. I will be contacting executive management of H&R Block as they should pay for my taxes this year. This caused undo stress. I've spent all of the time preparing and meeting with them already to have nothing to show for it.
