I used to love doing events with friends in La Salle followed by an evening at Fritzlers! For several years we would have the upstairs of the original Armadillo restaurant in La Salle for our party and then head on over to the Fritzler Farm to go through the corn mazes and pumpkin cannons. Back in the early days of our visits they had an inflatable monster or the beast that you would walk into. You start in it's mouth and come out the other end. There were also slides on a hill you could go down and lots of other activities. During my time in Northern Colorado we went here for a lot of years. The haunted corn maze was of course always fun! The maze itself was shaped into a massive design each year in which if a person is in an airplane you can see it in it's entirety. After we moved to Washington state we found a farm of a similar nature and the folks that run that farm know and are friends with the family that has Fritzlers! Small world! After our move we heard feedback from our dear friends who went with us for many years and they thought the farm wasn't quite as fun as it once was and one of the factors was that the corn wasn't as high as most years and the feel was just different from previous years. I'm sure there are some years where the corn length isn't as big or long due to factors in the growing season but I haven't been back to Fritzlers in a while to see how much or how little it has changed but I definitely do have fond memories of going there! read more

Pre-purchased our tickets online and getting through the line to get our wristbands was quick and efficient. There was not a wait at all. So that ended up being very easy and definitely a plus. Lots of food and drink stands around as you enter, if you are interested in a snack or meal. They have 2 corn mazes set up. one VERY short one for families and then what is supposed to be longer and harder. No map is provided. nor do the staff tell you where the exit is. Hint : The exit is the same as the entrance. This one was more tricky and longer than their family one but the entire thing maybe took us 30 minutes. That was our purpose in coming so that was a little disappointing. We stood in line for a lemonade longer than we actually spent in the corn maze. Lines for everything were extremely LONG and wait times were also very long. We did go on the train, that line was pretty fast even though it was long. The staff yelled over and over the same things which was a little annoying. Also dont bring food or drink towards the train, you will have to leave it set or throw it out. The train ride is short and just goes in a short loop and you dont really get to go and see anything. I hear their scary corn maze is way better. But that is not what we had gone for. I would likely not come back just because it didn't serve the needs of our family. read more

Every year we have journeyed through Colorado to find 'our' pumpkin patch. We've gone as far south as the Springs and as far north as Fort Collins. None have been repeated more than once except Thornton. This year we all agreed (4 generations of us even though #4 can't talk yet!) that Fritzler's was worth the drive and has been anointed as the family pumpkin patch. Let's get into it; the food trucks were ridiculous! A pretzel bun burger?! Yes, please. Dippin dots and frozen oreos? Um, ok! The Taco truck was ridiculous as well. Having alcohol in several spots meant the lines moved quickly and who doesn't want a cold beer and/or cider on a warm fall day? Having the waters and sodas separate keeps the lines moving all day long. The Autistic human LOVED the pumpkin launcher, the goats and the slide. The goat vendor was the absolute best. She saw my mom sitting in her wheelchair and brought a mama goat to a separate pen so my mother could enjoy her an not be trampled by all the kiddos. The train was great as well. Not to mention the 'mom space'. No other patch has a space for mom's and their babes. Well done, Fritzler. There were so many people there on Sunday and yet id never felt crowded. There were lots of different porta potty areas to access and with games spread throughout the property it made moving people from one area to the next flow well. The only feedback we have is to make the family corn maze bigger, interactive and one way. With a stroller and an electric wheelchair it made it a bit sketchy for our crew. First time going and was excited but so disappointed. Got there around 6pm but quickly learned that most of the "attractions" closed early. The "hard" corn maze closed at 6:30pm. The train trolley closed early. A few of the employees I did ask questions, had no idea what was going on or have answers. Even though the fun pass states the "pumpkin patch is included" in the ticket, to get an actual pumpkin is not. As an adult with no kids, it was not a fun experience. Came here Saturday 10/11 and I had never been the pics looked cute and came up as one of the pumpkin patches to see. So their ticket system is extremely inefficient. You can prepurchase tix online and get a QR code BUT the Online redemption line is so long to get a wristband and the line to purchase tix day of has no line whatsoever. This is dumbest thing ever. The park is not a farm in the traditional sense it reminds me of the like fairs on lots with some games and trucks. For $29 per person including anyone under 2yrs old you get access to park but pumpkin shooting and petting zoo are extra. Also all the food and drink is extra and pumpkins. The pumpkin patch was sparse and mainly little pumpkins. The lot to park is a nightmare so narrow that only someone can go in or out or good luck. It's way out in middle of nowhere not really anything else to see or do. Probably will never return. read more

This was one of the worst Halloween Farms Events I have ever been to in my life. I was so excited and had high hopes for this place but they were quickly diminished when I had to sit in long ridiculous lines for every single thing. Cash grab and that's literally it. Too many people, no activities for other people than little kids and nothing is even included in the price!!! HUGE RIP OFF. almost $100 on two tickets for Scream Acres. Have fun waiting in line at the 8 overpriced vendors they have and any photo ops. I wish we never went here in the first place. So disappointed and upset, waste of time, money and energy. This was supposed to be a great, fun spooky night but only ended it stress, anger and disappointment. The only frightening thing about this place is the lines and wait time. Wish I could recommend but in all honestly this place I expected way more of. read more

Visited our first pumpkin patch of the year! It was overall..okay. Getting there and parking was easy, and checking in and getting your wristbands was easy as well. If you did purchase anything extra, make sure you let them know bc they wont give the tickets to you and will have to walk all the way back to get them and wait in line again like we did. They have 2 beer gardens, one outside and one inside. Both the Cadillac tractor ride and corn flyers were closed and we were there at 5pm. They have a lot of bouncy houses and a lot of bathrooms around the place. I think the highlights at this place were the corn maze and the pumpkin canon launcher. Not many food vendors either. They do have a haunted house and that looked really cool but we didnt do it. read more

Do you like paying to wait in line? If so, you'll love this place! I came for scream acres and literally spent the entire night waiting in line. The entire park is very poorly designed. I was at least excited about fair food but before 8pm they ran out of churros so we got some gritty hot chocolate and a very cold pretzel. There aren't many activities and those that are worth your time, there's a 45 min line for! Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Traveling nurse in Denver and was looking for fun fall things to do. We got there Friday evening at 545 (drove an hour) absolutely no lines for anything other than like 4-5 people for the slide which went fast since there's three slides to choose from. Don't expect a full pumpkin patch they have some piled in front to buy and then the field has some scattered pumpkins that people were taking pictures in but not for the pumpkins. They have roughly 10 food trucks. I always get corn dogs when i go to things like this. I got the andouille and my boyfriend got the classic. If you're craving a classic go that route obviously but the andouille with the remoulade sauce was good too if you want a different flavor profile! I got the ultimate passes which are a different color. However, majority of the staff inside for the activities are young and they didn't tell their employees at the ticket taker for online reservations to give the actual tickets for the two included activities that are the ones that cost extra with the normal pass. But online it's a little cheaper as well. So, if you buy the ultimate pass make sure when they hand you the wrist band you ask for the tickets for the included activities too. I showed my email to them inside and they let us play but later we saw a family at the other activity and they wouldn't let them go in stating they had to go back to the ticket booth to get them even though they had wrist bands. I will say when i went back to the ticket booth she game me them right away and was apologetic it might have just been the one ticket booth since me and the family after talking connected that we got our wristbands from the same gal. Everyone was so nice they just all weren't told about how to handle different passes. $20 extra for the unlimited pass wasn't worth it for us since we are in late 20s early 30s, we like the pumpkin guns so i would recommend buying that, you get 5 small pumpkins per ticket. If you have young kids like maybe 5 and younger the other shooting thing might be fun. But it's a case of water beads you shoot at targets that are essentially Halloween decorations so they don't fall down or anything. I had already bought tickets and on the way i saw the reviews on yelp and made me a bit worried with the bad reviews. I don't think i saw one from this year so it seems like they have added more activities and food options. The scary acres is separate. Friday night fireworks started at 720 and they set them off behind the corn maze which is best to watch from the pumpkin gun side. Overall if you are in the area check it out but read more

Pros: The tractor train (called "Farmers Cadillac") -- they built big humps in the road like a kiddie roller coaster. Parking is free and convenient. Cons: Next to a freeway (no ambience), 20+ minute lines for everything (30 for food), food not appetizing, you have to pay more for some attractions, the bouncy castle attraction (which costs extra) closed an hour early without warning, the slide is too short, half the tricycles for the tricycle racing attraction were broken (so not as many kids could ride). We were there on a Sunday. I don't think it's worth $25 a person. read more

I understand these folks can't control the weather, although I wish they could! What they CAN control is their reaction. Booked for a day that turned out to be heavy wind. Not only did we drive there and find out the campfire we had booked was cancelled (no problem, I get it, wind!), but the fact that I wouldn't have been told unless I'd mentioned it when I checked in was an issue. Then, we'd been there no more than 15 minutes when they announced they'd be closing (again, I get it), but the only option was a rain check, in which, you'd have to stand outside in said windstorm to get the credit. Which is only good for 2 more weeks! Not worth my time, though I'd wish they'd have offered a refund. Then, I get home, and at 6pm (on Sundays they're only open until 5, weather permitting), I get an email stating they'd only be open until 4pm that day. What's up with the alert system that you don't get that until 6? The communication to patrons is terrible. Good thing I thought to mention I'd pre-purchased a campfire or I'd have been out $40! read more

We are a family of 6 with 4 kids that are 6 and under. At $20 per person, I did not feel like it was worth it at all. There were 2 areas with bounce houses that would have been perfect for the kids but were not included in the entrance fee. So after paying $100 the only thing we could do was a slide, a train (the line was at an hour wait) and the corn maze. Oh and ride some tricycles that required the muscle strength of a body builder to make move. The fee didn't even include a pumpkin. read more

As an adult I'm interested in paintball gallery & pumpkin cannon, which you have to pay separately anyway, even if you are forced on their website to purchase their cheapest option of $16.95. If they don't want to advertise their BASIC GENERAL ADMISSION FOR JUST $4.95 - I'll do it for them :) The $4.95 option is NOT under the purchase ticket button, it's not under their Frequently Asked Questions. If I would of had this information before purchasing my tickets - it would have cost me $24 LESS for my 2 tickets. Expensive, for very basic games like basketball. Went opening weekend and they were very unprepared. They couldn't even wipe down the condiment table? It was filthy and you could tell they had just pulled it out of storage the day they opened. Food took forever since apparently only one fryer was working. Like a said, unprepared. Overpriced experience that reminded us of a farm trying to be a theme park and failing miserably. It's located right next to the freeway and there's no ambiance at all. You walk past all these 'Warning: gas line' signs walking up and there's a big water drainage ditch filled with rotting pumpkins and swarming bees. Not the picture perfect image they display on the website. The activities inside are things you could do for free at a park- basketball, tetherball, four square... the lines for the inflatables were so long and never moved because time wasn't limited for kids inside... and that was an extra cost besides the $35 per person which we paid extra to include the pumpkin canyon and paintball. But nope, want inflatables? Better cough up some more money! The only activity we enjoyed was the paintball shooting- everything else was lackluster, broken or overrun/not being crowd controlled properly. The food was overpriced mall style food (think pretzels, snow cones) and also had large lines. If you're in the Northern Colorado area and are looking for a pumpkin patch with lower cost and better ambiance I recommend Bartels- that's where we usually go each year and I regret deviating from our usual tradition for this mess! The tractor ride looked cool but since it was one of the only 'farm' specific activities- it's line was epic the entire day (see the photo I attached!) The entire experience gave me cheap farm carnival vibes- not the Fall experience we usually crave. Plus there is NO shade anywhere and we all know Colorado has some hot days in the fall! read more

This place doesn't have great reviews so I wanted to make it known that my family had an incredible time. It was a little pricey but we all felt satisfied with the value. The kids (and adults) played forever on slide hill. The maze was fun and challenging. There was a ton of activities. Great selection of pumpkins. I do recommend going early and eating early on if you plan to eat. We got there at 11 and didn't have to wait in any lines until about 2. But by 2 the food lines were pretty long. read more

Overpriced for sure.. we went last night and there were probably 300-400 people at the farm no lie. Absolutely no social distancing and barely anyone wearing masks. I did see like 2 security guards but there was no social distancing! I was definitely uncomfortable. They had disinfectant bottle to wipe down the small bikes but the workers didn't even bother. I only saw one employee wiping it down for the small kids bike section. The price of day admission is ridiculous. We paid for the vip for the nighttime scream acres maze because the lines were crazy long. Got there at 7:30 and had to wait our turn for the maze. We actually started the maze at 9 pm. The food trucks were pretty disgusting. Flies everywhere and they had open crockpots of chili. No thank you. The actually maze was actually pretty good. Unfortunately people don't follow rules though and of course you want to go at your own pace so you don't see everyone getting scared in front of you and you miss out on the experience. Kids running around ruined the experience. Forming giant groups and rushing you. I suggest having more food options and sanitary measures. read more

Be sure you know what you're paying for -- our family of 4 went on military / EMT / police weekend when the website said we received free admission. Only the person with the ID receives free admission, so we still had to pay $20/kid ... but did receive 10% off those tickets. This park is a glorified high school carnival. In my opinion the overcrowded park isn't worth what they charge you. We were there for 3 hours and did 3 activities because of how long the lines were. read more
