A hurried schedule between two people does not warrant a 3 star drop at all. I apologize for this. Anna does amazing work. I did not realize Yelp would ditch my entire 5 star review on 18/8's phenomenal work. The following was a one-time experience during a busy week. It should not reflect on the business as a while. Therefore I updated my rating as I thought it would average them out. Completely my fault. I had a client dinner at 7 and wanted a cut. They had a 4 and 6:30 with the girl I wanted. I asked for the 4, but i mentioned, I would call if by some crazy scenario my afternoon photo shoot went wrong. They are "too busy for last minute cancellations" Seriously? I wasn't cancelling just giving a remote possibility to be rather up front. Obviously can't do 6:30 appt with a 7pm client dinner. He can cancel on me any time. He is my "client" As an update. I made it to my 3:45 hair appointment with another salon. I would have gladly given a credit card for a missed appointment. Because I do understand time is money. But I don't see that being an issue in the future.

Every reference photo I showed the top came at the eyebrow or just below it. After my cut, my hair is at least an inch and a half above my eyebrow. The wait is always minimal, the waiting area is comfortable, and the staff is always friendly. Even though COVID-19 has changed everything, they do an excellent of following COVID-19 practices and precautions. Alyssa is an amazing massage therapist. When I show up for an appointment she takes the time to talk to me to see if there is anything she needs to focus on and gives me a few minutes to get ready. My 90 minute massage is just about my favorite 90 minutes of the month. Alyssa knows my trouble spots and takes the time needed to do things like work out my left shoulder knot, and knows that magic spot to put me to sleep (my feet). The appointment usually starts with some conversation and catching up, but it doesn't take long for me to doze off. That's when she really works he magic. My most recent visit set a new record, and I think I was out in a bout 10 minutes. At the end of each appointment I always leave in better shape than when I got there, and completely relaxed. That's a testament to Alyssa's skill as a massage therapist. I've been going here for over 4 years...and as long as Alyssa is there's this will be my spot.

Since my first visit in 2019, I have always received a warm welcome when coming through the door and have always found the salon to be impeccably clean and organized. It says a lot that many of the stylists are some that I saw on my first visit. Jackie continues to work her miracles with my hair, never wavering when I get a wild hair (pun intended) to try something new. I called the salon one day, and they were able to schedule me for the following day. They put me down with Ryan, and I'm so glad they did! Ryan took time to talk me through my desired style and how it would work best with my particular hair texture. He was very nice to talk to, and the finished product was exactly what I wanted! He explained things to me that I hadn't realized before about different hair color pricing and strategies in case I want to do that in the future. I will definitely be back on a regular basis!
