I have had the regular bar facial and they tailor it to you and if you have any issues you'd like them to focus on. The bar facial is done in an open area where other guests are also getting treatments done. If you want a private facial or another service you can pay extra for a room facial or room treatment. I also had the eyelash and brow tint as a bar treatment done in the open area. Demi M. did a great job at both and was very helpful in deciding the shade to go with. She did warn me that my eyebrows could be a little much the first day but after showering the dye would wash off my skin and it would look good. She was right they looked great after and lasted about a month, it was nice to not worry about wearing makeup! The bar facial and treatments are nice because they are cheaper than other spas and salons in Louisville. Bethany S and Alexis A both do a wonderful job with the bar facial. Both are very knowledgeable about the skin and explain each step to you. The inside design is also very cute it looks like a Pinterest board all of the decor is very cute. I did see on Instagram they are moving to a bigger location soon, I can't wait to see the new place I am sure it will be just as pretty inside!

I ended up paying $275 which I was not prepared to pay and I would have 100% refused service if I had known that is what I would be paying as I get a better deal at my usual spot. Just be aware if you're going for the first time make sure to tell them budget and units you want or they will just do as they see fit to get your money. Disgusting greedy behavior truly. I didn't have to wait long to be shown back to a room, though while I waited I was given water and an "antioxidant" nut and chocolate mix to enjoy. The candles in the waiting area also smelled divine. Hannah expertly got my brows back in shape with minimal sting from the wax in the allotted 30 minutes. And I spent roughly $30 including tip. Sephora always has great customer service and has provided top of the line products and deals. The best part about these sephora shopping trips are the fact that I get to have all my favorite brands in house expect the fact that they don't care chanel make up. I went ahead and recently purchased a Dior Lipstick to go to Alabama and visit someone special. It was a Nude color which was perfect for the task. It does also help that the Apple store and The chanel counter is inside Oxmoor Macy's in case I need anything there. Thank you Sephora for providing great service.

I normally get a touch up on my color, she trims up my hair, she also styles it (sometimes she uses a straight iron to make my hair straight & smooth) other times she curls my hair, if I'm headed out for a night on the town. Most times she waxes my brows for me as well. A typical visit includes a stop at the color bar where the freshening up of my hair color takes place. The chairs are comfortable, & there are snacks nearby if you need a little something to hold you over until lunch or dinner. Every time as soon as I enter, I'm greeted by the receptionist, & she asks if I need anything to drink - a soda, or water (you can get a canned soda, or a glass with ice) they also have wine & bourbon as well if you're really having a bad day or week. I usually sit at the color bar while the touch up is being done, as well as the time it takes for it to process. After that, it's off to the shampoo bowl (which is probably my favorite part)! The color is rinsed off, I get shampood, conditioner, & toner. This is also where my brows are done. Lastly we go to her chair where she trims & styles my hair. The salon is very well laid out, there are 4-5 salon chairs laid out in each section, so when your stylist is taking care of you it doesn't get so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. At J Michael's you can get a manicure, pedicure, a facial, you can have your makeup done, get a massage, lash extensions, and even microblading. They are definitely a full service salon. It's bright & airy, people are friendly, & there's always music playing, & it's generally a wonderful place to get pampered. There's plenty of parking just outside the door of the salon. I'd definitely recommend J Michael's if you're looking for a good place to be spoiled. The products Paige uses on my hair leaves it feeling soft & looking healthy. I typically buy several of those she uses on me, every other visit so I can keep my hair looking just as nice as when I leave the salon.

This hairstyle was my faithful sidekick for an incredible night of fundraising and dancing and my hair looked SENSATIONAL throughout. This was a major event that I spent months working toward and really wanted to look perfect and special for the night. So of course the first appointment I made was getting my hair done with the magical Antonio! Never once was I worried that it would fall apart or come undone (always a concern when doing something different)-- Antonio has normally done blowouts for me when I have a special event but I needed an updo for this particular dress. We actually found Haven Salon because I was looking for a great place to get kid haircuts and the rest is history! (Can't review the kids manis yet cuz their school dress code doesn't allow nail polish but they have been begging to get kid manis so maybe we'll try over holiday break, stay tuned...
