My last update was 2020, during the Covid pandemic. It's time for an update! Since that time the owners have totally updated the interior of the salon and it is quite classy! Since my first visit in 2019, I have always received a warm welcome when coming through the door and have always found the salon to be impeccably clean and organized. It says a lot that many of the stylists are some that I saw on my first visit. Jackie continues to work her miracles with my hair, never wavering when I get a wild hair (pun intended) to try something new. She always listens carefully to my comments and offers her professional suggestions. I have never, in 7 years, left dissatisfied. Had my 1st visit last week with Faith. Cut and highlights. I was quite impressed with Faith, the salon and products. It had been nearly 6 months since my last highlights (only because my stylist apparently took the summer off for personal reasons) so I was a big mess. Faith spent a lot of time with me before making opinions as to the best way to proceed. Time well spent! She ultimately did partial highlights & blunt cut. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! And, the products she exposed me to made my thin, fine hair look twice as thick! HUGE! I will definitely be back on a regular basis. So glad I found Faith and Salon 20/20. read more

I went in July 1 2025 for hair & makeup for my much anticipated first ever maternity photo shoot!! Hannah was my stylist. My makeup was 10/10. Highly recommended. However, I am absolutely heart broken to say my hair was not done well and not HOW I ASKED it to be done. When I made the appointment, I asked for heat rollers to be used because even though my hair curls & holds fine at home, when I get my hair professionally curled it never holds. THE OWNER REPLIED TO MY GOOGLE REVIEW SAYING MOST SALONS DON'T HAVE HEAT ROLLERS. I WAS TOLD BOTH TIMES I CALLED THAT HANNAH WOULD BE REMINDED TO BRING IN HEAR ROLLERS. SO NOT ONLY WAS I LIED TO, BUT THE OWNER COULDN'T EVEN BE EMPATHETIC AND APOLOGETIC BUT INSTEAD BLAMED ME FOR NOT ADVOCATING BETTER FOR MYSELF. The morning of my appointment, I called again to remind them to ask Hannah to BRING IN heat rollers to use on my hair. I requested them a third time when I got to the salon for my appointment. Hannah shrugged it off, saying she believed the "velcro rollers" would only give me volume and not curl and that she would curl my hair with a curler & pin it for a few minutes to let it set. I trusted the professional, but I should have stood up for myself and insisted on using heat rollers. Within 30 minutes of leaving the salon, the curls were gone. I was absolutely devastated. This maternity photo shoot is obviously a huge deal, once in a lifetime thing, and I just spent $155 (tip included) for great makeup and flat, straight hair. I was so disappointed that my requests were not met. My appointment was scheduled to be three hours long, but it only took two hours if that gives you any idea how much shorter "pinning my hair" took than the heat roller method would have taken. I rushed to Ulta, seeking some sort of last minute option as I was absolutely heart broken that I had just spent so much time & money on my hair that was an absolute fair for such an important event. Ulta curled my hair for $30 and those curls lasted for most of the photo shoot. They also wondered why the salon wouldn't do what I requested and even said heat rollers is the tried and true method that worked for our mothers and grandmothers, having no idea what Hannah meant by "velcro rollers that don't curl your hair." Anyways, I made the best of the photo shoot (which was cheaper than the hair & makeup) but having to drive in 3 hours & out 3 more hours and spend hundreds of dollars and take off work etc etc I would have liked to have gotten the hair style I asked THREE TIMES for. Great salon, great makeup, etc but fine hair'd girlies whose hair may not hold a curl super well beware Photo is my hair within 30 minutes of leaving the salon. read more

This review is of the stylist not the salon. I was a new client and when I contacted the salon for an appointment I was told they could get me in immediately. That should have been my first red flag but, I went with it anyway as I really needed the service. When I arrived I met the stylist to which I had been assigned. She was very young but I told myself just to go with it, everybody has got to start somewhere, right? Another mistake on my part. Through out the appointment this young lady didn't listen to me. The so called highlights are non existent, I feel like maybe the formula was mixed incorrectly and the cut is really mediocre. The moral of the story is be leery when visiting a salon without a recommendation you could end up being used as a training tool for someone's kid. read more

Everything was great. My nail tech was Thien. My pedicure was so relaxing. My dipped fingernails look stunning. They will last about 2 months with no chips. This is a very nice place. Prices are average. Everybody I have met there is friendly and customers leave smiling. read more

This used to be my go to salon until the last two visits that were awful. My color after being in the chair for about 4-5 hours with my kids waiting with me, was wrong so I had to come back. When I came back, the color was better, but she overprocessed it so my hair she told me there was a little breakage on the bottom, but in reality I had a lot of breakage from the top. my hair looked better going in then leaving from so there. The owner, Jackie tried to assure me with my second visit they would be able to correct it, but my stylist Hunter did not, and Jackie was off that day. It was expensive and I feel like I lost half of my hair. it's gonna take a long time for it to grow back, but I wanted to warn people. I will never go back!! read more

I was a bit nervous coming here. I had a bad experience about 10 years ago with getting my hair cut from a completely difference buisness. After doing tons of research, I settled on this place after reading the reviews. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, I never felt like I shouldn't have been there. I cannot day enough about this place, honestly! I had my hair done on Saturday by another hair stylist but it was NOTHING like the picture i showed her and i went home so disappointed, i thought there was no fixing what i had going on! (before and after posted) but thankfully Nela came to my rescue and made it look brand new, she booked me that wednesday and made sure to fix the first artists mistake!! If I could give zero stars I would . I had an appointment at 9 am I drive there and they tell me they tried calling me !!! I looked as my phone they called at 8:52 !!! Really !!! I was driving there . Apparently the hairdresser couldn't find her keys !!! Are you kidding me . I had never been here however when I walked in it looks like a Fantastic Sams I am used to high end salons . All the great reviews on here I don't see how .... BEWARE!!! I had an appointment for November 11, 2021 at 4:30 pm. I arrived and the stylist who was scheduled for my appointment was not there. She had a death in the family and was understandably absent. Here's the problem. The salon did not call me to tell me that my appointment was cancelled. I got there and they asked me if I had the right day and then said "sorry" someone should have called you. Then they try to get someone else to do my hair so I sat and waited another 30 minutes hearing nothing further. Finally, I left. Then I left virtually the same comments I'm writing here on their Facebook page. I then get a response from "Jackie" that was a total lie. Then she deleted my post from FB when I called her out on the LIE. She said that they had tried to call me and that my phone said some other lie. And that they had a back up stylist all set for me that was only running 20 minutes behind. Lie. They were trying to push me off on someone who was probably ready to get off their shift. I was standing right there and the girl didn't even acknowledge me. Here's the thing. You screwed up. We all do from time to time. Just admit it. Don't lie about it. That's why I'm angry. I looked for 1.5 years for a great stylist in the Louisville area that could manage my fine, limp hair into a stunning hair style and after asking numerous women where they got their hair cut, I landed on Jackie at Salon 20/20 and was NOT disappointed. I've been coming to the Salon now for 2 years with no intention to change that status. If you want someone who is an expert colorist, a perfectionist with precision cuts and has a real eye for style - you really should see Jackie. This was my first time here and Jackie did a phenomenal job on my "messy, way too many colors going on" hair! We discussed what I hoped to achieve and she pretty much immediately saw that cooler colors would look best with my skin tone - she was right. She gave me really nice low light colors with these really gorgeous kind of icy blond highlights. TBH, I was nervous about it but it turned out great and I am thrilled with it!! Went here 1 time for a haircut and it was okay. Went back for a second time, and OMG. I ended up getting scalped. I literally walked out with about 1/2" of hair left on the back of my head when I had asked for a completely different hairstyle. It was so bad I had to go to the Wig Shop on Hurstbourne Ln the next day and buy a Hair topper to cover the monstrosity until my hair grows out enough. It's now been a month and I can just now get a 1/2' curling iron in the back to get some body into the back of my hair. It has totally ruined my color and the texture of my hair. My hair was ruined and I was unable to get the stylist to respond to fix it and when I called, the receptionist said no one else was available either.
