Later, when I was paying his bills, I contacted TK to ask about the fee (I didn't know any of the above occurrence). I spoke with Steve who was very understanding and very kind. He understood the difficulty we are having, and the "awkward" stage between independence and losing freedom to manage things himself with dementia and he credited the fee back to us.
