So I'm reviewing a woman's boutique???????????? Hmmm, something is wrong here? Actually, I have a friend that lives in town and told me about the place...and the prices. My girlfriend saw something in the window and wanted to check it out, so we did. Styles and clothing was nice...very nice. She tried on jeans and a t-shirt both for which looked like they were made for her. The owner wasn't there but the person minding the store was very helpful....providing a ton of suggestions and comments about fit and sizes and alternatives within the store...which is tiny by the way. In the end, she bought a t-shirt and jeans and was very happy with her purchase which came to around a little less than $130....which for 2 items is a bit much, but considering how they looked on her...well worth it. read more

The selection may be limited but what they do carry is always quality and quite trendy. It's a super small and narrow boutique. As you enter, it has a very real and genuine boutique atmosphere. Lots of black, white, and greys... My favorite colors. Most of what they carry can be pricey but it's always really nice stuff. You pay for what you get! They have a very small section of actually affordable things. I'm in my twenties so, affordable might mean something different to me than it does to you. Any who, the clothes are very pretty. The jewelry is lovely. The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the costumer service... I have never received much here. It seems as though if you're not a very serious shopper, the sales clerks aren't even willing much to help. I am one of those costumers that isn't high maintenance but I like some TLC. I need actual opinions by actual people in order to make my purchase happen. With some help from the sales team, I might actually leave there with a bag sometime! read more

Visit often, they have great bargains, and keep your eyes peeled for days when the owners have their own "yard sales." They have a pair covet-worthy of closets! My favorite boutique in downtown Asheville. I aways come away with a piece or two. Unique jewelry and cute clothes. Nothing that you feel like you would walk down the street and see 10 people wearing the same thing. Higher end clothes and really well thought out selection. I am finally writing a review today because I found some earrings I loved but wanted these in gold. They didn't have any gold left and the woman working there had a gold pair at home. She actually sold me her pair and is shipping to me at no extra cost. Talk about service. I have always had great service here but this topped it all. If you are looking for a boutique in Asheville, make sure to put Frock on your short list! It's a small boutique in the Downtown area with everything from dresses, tops and jeans, to accessories you can't say no to. The prices are what you would expect for a boutique, but will not necessarily break the bank. Although it's small, they do a great job organizing their stock of retail goodies! While this shop is small, it's well organized, nicely laid out and filled with plenty of great brands. I spied items from Bailey 44, Ella Moss, Hanky Panky, Qi, Seven For All Mankind, Coobie, Market, Splendid and more. Such a great shop! I wandered in on a lazy Sunday afternoon and left with a bagful of PERFECT layering pieces. Superbly soft leggings and tunics and long camis... all beautifully made and in a ton of colors. Their customer Service was standout. The kind lady working that day helped me find several options that would work and pair together. She was wonderful. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Asheville! read more

I hadn't been to Asheville in couple yrs, & I was pleased to find that chain stores haven't run the individually owned places out of downtown. this store has unique, nice clothes at a good price. the day I bought a dress, I was fortunate enought that one of the owners (Jenny) was there: very helpful and friendly in a sincere way. Frock is the best store in Asheville to shop. They are by far the first place that you should stop if you are looking for women's clothing. Frock is not your "mall" clothing store.
