I visit Asheville yearly for a quick getaway. The drive is approximately 2.5hrs from my location. The area has alot of outdoors things to do, nice places to stay and great foodie spots! The outlets had plenty of parking, and clean bathrooms. They have a few new stores that other outlets don't have. Always a great time wandering thru outlets for goodies. For our first visit here we came away pretty satisfied. The outlet mall is easily reached from just about anywhere around Asheville, has lots of free parking, it's easy to navigate while walking, it has a collection of good stores, and for the most part the prices are outlet-appropriate. We found some good bargains at Banana Republic, Talbots, J. Crew and Express (really good sale!). We came away disappointed at Brooks Brothers, which doesn't seem to be an outlet based on its store pricing. Too bad. There's a small food court, but it wasn't busy when we were around and the choices were few. Disappointing. Still, the mall is well worth a visit if you're in the mood for some shopping. read more

It was raining during our holiday so we headed to the outlets to do some covered shopping. I was over the moon that they had a Crate and Barrel-one of my FAVOURITE shoppes. I will mention Restoration Hardware is no longer there, or I had blinders on, because I could not find it. I was also surprised to find out the Dillard's even has an outlet. And their prices are outstanding, mostly. Husband got a RL robe for $30 - for price reference, it was originally marked over $150. Only disappointments were Brooks Brothers, where I immediately recognised that their "outlet prices" are actually full retail in the miniscule women's section (as I held a fairly recent purchase in my hands, knowing full well it was the same price as my New Orleans retail location). The same goes for the Ralph Lauren "outlet" where my husband's flag jumper (sweater) was more at the outlet than he paid online from RL directly on sale. Props to Vineyard Vines for great shirt sales and super nice sales guys! We didn't patronise the food court, but I spent plenty of time in C&B and Kirklands and walked out a VERY happy shopper. read more

Pretty decent outlet store, however, compared to other outlet stores, this one is a little smaller, and many of the stores are out of stock in many items. It would also be beneficial if they had more outdoor seating within the mall itself. read more

The Asheville Outlet Mall is a decent place to shop. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to navigate the outlets and plenty of maps so you can find what you are looking for. There are a good variety of stores. The food court is lacking of offerings but it looked like somewhere new is in the process of opening. read more

Gotta check out Dillards Clearance outlet, awesome discounts bigger selection than the TJ Max family of stores. I had to edit this review because I forgot to add my qualifications, I live 4 miles from the sawgrass mills mall, probably one of the most known outlet malls, it's way bigger, I literally go there to exercise daily, alone it's great when my wife accompanies me it's about $100 bucks to get my daily exercise. The only thing sawgrass mall doesn't have is Dillards Clearance store! That store puts the ashville outlet on the map. read more

Went here on a drizzling Wednesday morning and it was perfectly empty! We had our run of the place and had great service in every store we stopped in. A few stores I haven't seen elsewhere, including West Elm Outlet. I am glad we aren't local or I would have purchased ALL.THE.THINGS. for our new home. Some local shops mixed into the options here as well. The only things lackluster are the nearly empty food court (only two mediocre options) and that many of the stores aren't truly outlets/outlet pricing. In general, a good outlet mall with good parking and easy to navigate. We will be back when in town again. read more

I have found quite a few deals at these outlets. If you have time to dedicate to search you will find some for yourself. Has anyone been feeling like outlet shopping is losing its luster? I remember being able to find deal after deal when they first opened. Now during events it is so busy that the hassle isn't worth it. I will also say that they mark things up to retail then do the half off business which means you are still paying your fair share. So why the high 4 star rating? Variety, cleanliness, and customer service. All of those qualities have been on point for my visits. I have done several reviews about individual stores because I've been really impressed with a few. I was only here briefly. For the short time that I was at the Asheville Outlets, it was easy to see that there were tons of shops. I'm used to going to the Tanger outlets in Myrtle Beach, these outlets meet the Tanger outlets at Myrtle Beach look like a Shopping Center. So many choices here at the Asheville Outlets. read more

This outdoor shopping center is very similar to other outlet malls I've shopped at recently including Charleston SC, Charlotte NC and Gaffney SC. There is some cover in some places but on a wet and mushy and cold day like today was, it's not going to be fun to walk in the rain while you're going from one shop to the next. But on a pleasant and sunny day, the light cover will help you to enjoy the outside. So choose your shopping day accordingly. Lots of shops including clothing, food, tools, kitchen, shoes, and jewelry. Some of the shops understand the "outlet" concept and have great prices. Some not so much. Many of these stores exist at all the different outlet malls. Lots and lots of parking here. Some of the stores have free wifi, including Starbucks. But there did not seem to be a mall wifi today. I went there on a whim, and glad I did. Weekdays are the best, I presume weekends, and holidays are a sh#tshow, i.e., parking along with crowds. The only downside was Brooks Brothers. It seems that to Brooks, only men work in Corporate America. They have done away with their woman's department. Banana Republic was a hit! Clarks was O.K., I found their prices expensive. Location cannot be better. This mall is about 3 minutes away from the Arboretum. Why is this mall's proximity to the Arboretum so important? Cos after you take the wife and mom to the Arboretum, you can some here immediately after. Arboretum visit = 3 hours, Outlet Mall visit = 3 hours.. one full day with minimal driving between spots. Didn't care for them much on my last couple visits. What I really really hate about these kind of faux upscale places is when their employees "play the part" too much. For example, on my most recent visit as I was checking out men's items, a male staff with a really sharp suit walked around me with his chin up high and walking like he's modeling for GQ magazine. Which is cool. Good to have that kind of confidence and leave that kind of impression. But!! Don't make sly attempts at spying on me... Especially without ever greeting me or asking me if I needed help. I'm here to buy stuff, not window shop... or even worse, shop lift. But I'd really appreciate it if I don't get viewed as if I'm here to steal their personal belongings... All the female staff are always awesome to me. Always. That's why I won't give them a 1 Star. But again... male staff needs a lot of work. Not just this particular location but others as well. It's Coach. It's not Hermes (if I worked at Hermes I'd be a snob too cause I'm not gonna have somebody walk out with a $20k handbag on my watch). Pretty good Outlet Mall. Just a heads up that they offer a Veteran's parking spot right near the front, so keep an eye out if that's of use to you. This place had a decent selection as far as I'm concerned - Carter's, Starbucks, Lindt Chocolate, a jerky shop and a storefront for local artists. With this being an outdoor mall, It's obviously preferable to visit on a day with nice weather. read more

Your typical outlet setting but vibrant with apparently every store space filled and active. PLENTY of restrooms which is not always true at all outlets AND the locations are clearly marked. I appreciated that in most of the stores, I was greeted upon entry and that means a lot. All the stores that I entered were clean and well lit with full shelves and racks. The previously mentioned restrooms were clean and well appointed. The only drawback is a VERY LIMITED food court with only TWO restaurants--Asian and Italian. There is a Starbucks but I didn't venture in to see if they offered more than beverages. There are, however, numerous fast food and quick dining restaurants in the immediate area. read more

I cannot believe how much this area has changed. I love it. I remember when this was the Biltmore Square mall and then some random stores selling odd items. I went this weekend and they had a kettle corn guy. Yum! Apparently he sells fresh lemonade and cotton candy too. Not a bad set of stores. There was a Beef Jerky store which we thought was pretty cool! They had a huge variety of different flavored beef jerkies and there were samples there for you to try! They also had some crazy looking hot sauces. Some were behind a glass door because they were so expensive! $129! That's crazy! There was a West Elm store, which, I love them, so it was nice to look around. They had some pretty good deals! Other than that there were your typical outlet style stores. I love shopping at the Asheville Outlets and I love going in Coach here at the Asheville Outlets. It is honestly my favorite store at the Asheville Outlets. Nothing makes me happier than going shopping at this Coach location. The Asheville Outlets have really brought new life to Asheville. Located where The Biltmore Square Mall used to be, The Asheville Outlets are keeping things interesting. I love that I can drive to a Coach location near my house and purchase luxury goods. The staff at this Coach location is welcoming and polite. They always greet you as you walk in the door and make you feel like a valued guest in their store. I usually buy gifts here for my family and they accommodate my purchases with gift boxes and gift wrap, which is honestly an added luxury. If you're looking to treat yourself anytime soon, then come to Coach of Asheville and splurge. There are so many items you can select from. We came here as a last stop at Asheville before heading back to Knoxville. The SO had to buy some shoes, and well this was the best option. I wanted to look at some new shoes as well. We visited the Nike Store, which was well stocked and also had a good amount of sales go on. I am disappointed though at Under Armour's collection of shoes. I know that they are getting in to the basketball scene, but I only saw one or two pairs. Depressing. I would have picked up a pair if I saw something I liked. Anyways, back to the outlets in general. It reminds me of the outlets in Charlotte. However, it definitely felt smaller as we walked the whole thing and thought to ourselves...is that it? Then again, I think that Asheville has a small market. I'm betting that this place is hoping for tourists to flow in as well. I think this place is nice, no complaints. It's an outlet, but honestly I think the one in Charlotte is probably better. read more
