In the spring and summer they also have a greenhouse of fresh herb plants. There's tinctures, house hold cleaners, handmade soaps, tinctures of everything!! cooking herbs, books,body washes, shampoos, teas, etc. The owner is super knowledgeable with any questions! Last time I went in with questions on parasites and anemia and came out with tinctures. Their tea blends are some of my favorites. The antiviral is amazing!!! It's like going back in time! It's located right off of route 10 with easy front parking.

They even carry Spanish saffron! There are so many interesting tea combinations. The staff is wonderful. They told me that if you don't see the size you want, they may have in the back or they can make it for you. The teas are loose leaf and are displayed in both large containers and in plastic packs of 2 oz or 4 oz. We purchased a 4 oz pack of Victorian chai which has floral undertones ($24) and a pack of 2 oz jasmine pearl tea ($14). The jasmine pearl buds are supposed to open up when you infuse it in hot water. (A friend of mine gifted me this from Singapore many years ago and I was happy to have found this again). Prices are steep but it's a nice occasional treat.

Given my amateur chef nature, I decided to hop in and see what they had available. It's a fairly small store, and is very warehouse in nature. But that doesn't bother me, and it was clean and had no particularly strong smells. The place had a very good variety of not just spices and aromatics, but also carried halal food as well as Hindu ceremonial items. Some items of note are fresh chilis, a very good assortment of spice blends, ghee as well as oils, and some decent packaged cakes and decent frozen food. I got myself my curry powder, some spice blends for murghi and korma, and am now happily set for my days I feel like curry, or just plain baked chicken with good spice blends. The man running the register is very nice, talkative, and quite helpful as well. Has some fun stories too. It's honestly criminal that this place isn't on the map, especially given it's in a pretty convenient location further south than the nightmare that is the I-95/Rt 13 Traffic Nightmare. It's right near Pizza di Napoli if you need a bit more guidance, since most maps seem to not have them in their database. All in all, it's a great place if you need ingredients or specifically need halal items or just want to dine on decent frozen dinners. Will go again as needed.
