Our family loves frog pond farm already so this was an awesome new experience. In addition to that we happened to be there when baby goats were roaming around so that was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Will definitely do the llama walks again! Thank you for a fun morning!!!

Their fall festival, including the pumpkin patch, was not running yet and I felt some of the farm was a little limited because of that. They ran out of apple cider donuts for purchase and parts of the farm had a closed sign on it. That being said, there was still plenty of animals to visit, including two camels!, bounce houses for kids, outdoor games, and general farm vibes. Next time I would pack a picnic lunch as the only options available were lemonade and donuts until they were sold out on site. Staff was friendly and the animals looked well cared for. Perfect spot for a weekend farm day activity. I was surprised how much fun my kids had and look forward to visiting again when I can walk more of the farm.

Yelp is a community of eaters and a resource on finding food…read more Tri-County Farm is a community of farmers and a resource for eaters finding u-pick and farm stand food. Over 6o family farms in Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah Countes have banded together to publicize what is in-season by month along with directions to their farms. This has been going on for many years, graduating from paper you could pick up at food coops to a website today. You can start your planning with their season guide: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/season_guide.php. Exact dates will vary with the weather in a given year. Then you can search by the food you want: meats, fruits, vegies, herbs, flowers and even children's activities: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/all_products.php. Or if you are out in the country looking for a farm stand you can use their map, then select a farm and see what hours they are scheduled to be open, and what farm goods they have: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/map.php They list children's activities like hay rides, pumpkin patches, corn mazes and petting zoos. Portland has a lovely and well developed farmer market system throughout the neighborhoods. Many local markets have local producer fairs like People's Coop and Zupans. And local markets are always glad to point out local products. We have regional wholesaler Organically Grown which is a huge farmers' produce coop. It was started by hippies in Eugene and 40 years later operates warehouses in Portland, Seattle and Spokane with annual sales of greater than $150 million. But if you want to visit the farm and buy direct, Tri County Farm is the Yelp of farms open to the public!
