They gave us the saw and knee pad. And they shook the tree, bounded up and helped carry it to our car. The staff were so helpful. They will cut it down for you if you request and also tie it up to your car if you need help. Perfect place to go if you don't know what you're doing! It's free, but donations accepted to help out with the goats. The people running the place were friendly and informative. I was able to pet and brush the goats. Would love to see more pumpkins to be able to go pick yourself out in the field, but they did have quite a few to select from that were already pre-cleaned that just sit out in small areas of the farm. They also had you pick flowers, which was a really cool concept that I loved for an extra activity. Regarding payment: You don't pay for any items you purchased until the end! They use a sheet to track what your purchase throughout the farm. You pay at tin barn upon your exit along with the $25 car fee. All the staff were amazing and so helpful.

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

One section has the female alpacas and males are in a different outside area. The female alpacas we tried to feed were not as interested in us so we tried our luck with the males. The three males at the feeding area welcomed the food. One of them would try to eat out of our hand when one of their buddies is already eating. I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind having spit on. My husband got some spit splatter on his jacket when we were trying to feed one of the female alpacas. There is a wide selection of items in the gift shop and we left with a stuffed animal that looks just like the voracious eater we met at this ranch. Come have some fun with the alpacas!

The $124 tree experience is because you are paying for the most gorgeous tree to be sitting ready to take home. I came across this farm on Ridgefield's Facebook page. The private tour is $35 for a maximum of 6…read morepeople. I'm so glad I booked and cannot wait to go back with my family who will be visiting bc WA this summer. The entrance is about half a mile drive in to the farm. You start seeing the Alpacas right away and there are so many! It's an instant high pitch voice of excitement on my part (haha). The owner and daughter were waiting for us to greet us and were so kind! We did four different activities with the Alpacas: walked up to them and gave us background info on the Alpacas and farm, we pet a one year old Alpaca and two year old, fed them, walked two other Alpacas and ended our tour in their gift shop. The gift shop we had one more daughter who walked us through the texture of fiber and how it ends as yarn. The owner's wife whom we did not meet but hope to in the future made two hats and they were beautiful! $45 each and we bought those. She's also a photographer and does photography with the Alpacas if you wanted. It was an amazing experience!

I highly recommend this experience for everyone, I am from SF and this was a highlight to my trip up to WA! It was fulfilling and insightful about farm/family life. The family and the environment they've created around their farm is warm and welcoming. The sisters AKA daughters are heavily involved in the alpaca farm life and we are happy to see the next generation taking on heavy responsibilities at a young age.
