Pet Friendly Bonus! If you're looking for a place that truly feels like community, warmth, and heart, Yesteryear Farms is one of those rare gems that keeps me coming back year after year. This is a local, family-run farm, and you can feel that love in everything they do. They grow so much throughout the year--from pumpkins and corn to Christmas trees and beautiful wreaths--and they've created a space that's genuinely welcoming and accessible for everyone. One of the biggest reasons this is one of my favorite farms is how affordable and inclusive it is, especially during hard or uncertain times for many of us here on the West Coast. Free entry alone opens the door for families and individuals to create forever memories--whether that's snapping photos, wandering the grounds, or simply soaking in the atmosphere without pressure to spend money. Their gift shop is thoughtfully stocked with locally made treasures: popcorn seasonings, charcuterie boards, fresh preserves, handmade chocolates and truffles... truly a little bit of everything. It's the kind of place where you can find meaningful gifts while supporting local makers. Between fall and the holiday season, pricing across the farm is incredibly reasonable, making it perfect for kids, families, couples, solo visitors, or anyone who just wants to people-watch and enjoy being around others. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and joyful--and I honestly can't express enough gratitude for the whole family behind this farm and what they have created. From complimentary treats to the kindness of the staff and employees, every visit feels generous and intentional. During the holidays, the farm becomes extra magical with special guest appearances from Elsa, Santa Claus, and the Grinch, and around Halloween we've even had ghosts and ghouls stop by to say hello--pure magic for kids and adults alike. If you're searching for pumpkins, Christmas trees, hot apple cider, fresh donuts, or just a wholesome place to spend time together, I highly recommend checking out their website, reviewing their weekend schedule, and planning a visit. This farm is a reminder of how powerful small, local businesses can be--and how much joy they bring to a community.

This is a fun farm to visit around Halloween time. The decorations are cute and there are many things to do here besides the pumpkin patch. There is a small haystack for children to play on, connect four games mounted to tables under some tents (great if the weather isn't cooperating), and a shop to browse. The decorations make for great photo opportunities with plenty of cutouts for toddlers to pose behind

Very relaxing trip to the pumpkin patch. Parking was organized and easy. They have free popcorn and lemonade near the entrance, no admission fee, and very friendly staff. Great variety of pumpkins to choose from! Play area for kids and lots of photo opportunities. I thought the corn maze was worth the cost for my 9 year old. She loved it!

Corn dog was soggy and didn't sit well

Yesteryear Farms is very cute and instagram-able to the point where I couldn't even get the stereotypical photo because it was too busy. There is a cute gift shop, several food trucks (the coffee/donut line was insanely long) and lots of activities. What's nice about this farm is entry is free! I found it too cramped and busy to enjoy a whole day there but it's cute. The corn dogs at "Batter Up" were soggy and gave us stomachaches.

This small farm down the road a little ways from downtown Wilsonville has a lot to offer around the holidays. Currently, this location is open around the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and 4th of July holidays with the hours posted online. It is comprised of a smaller shop with miscellaneous knick-knacks and foods for sale. The items within the shop are usually decently priced for what they are, and I have always had a good experience with the staff working the register. This farm is unique in that, depending on the time of year, they offer a pumpkin patch to pick from, slides and hay bales to play around on, tabletop games including connect 4, a large corn maze, a Christmas tree farm, a farmers market, and a few other things to do/purchase. Overall, if you are nearby the Wilsonville area, I would definitely swing by this little farm shop and checkout the local happenings!

This is a must do on a weekend when all the little food trucks and activities are open! We went mid week and it was pretty empty, but we did come for pictures and that's what we got! Tons of pumpkins, little display walls, skeletons on couches, and hay bails all perfectly set up. They also had some sheep which of course was my son's fav part, but was super cute. They had complimentary cider that I should have bought an entire jug of before leaving! Come on the weekend, sit under their covered area with the heaters and games

The cutest and perfect sized pumpkin patch for kiddos! Came here with two children, and they had a blast! First off, the staff is super friendly, and they offer complimentary apple cider and popcorn at a pod near the entrance. They also have other food cart pods with various different kinds of food on the farm. There are tables for sitting, eating, and games to be played. At the end of the farm, there is hay/slides for kids to play. There is also a tiny section with live sheep. This farm included a lot of activities given its size. But since it is a smaller sized farm, it did not have a corn maze or tractor rides like some others do. Overall, loved it and would come again!

Amazing ambiance, fun and challenging mazes, and the perfect place to find your forever pumpkin. I'll definitely be back.

Such a cute pumpkin patch! Had a lot of different photo ops. Free parking, free entrance, and complimentary apple cider with popcorn! You only pay for your pumpkins and the maze if you want to do it. They have a cute gift shop and a couple of different food trucks. Would recommend!

What a fun up and coming pumpkin patch, corn maze and trinket store! We had a great visit and parking wasn't terrible on this day. I've heard nightmares, but we missed it thankfully) Complimentary cup of cold apple cider and popcorn to walk around at the first trailer by the entrance. She was so nice and thanked us for coming to check out the farm. Very friendly staff, a few food carts and tons of photo opportunities for your friends and family. People complaining about traffic must be oblivious to your surroundings because between the beautiful weather we've had and this time of year...Every single Pumpkin Patch is PACKED!!! Pack your patience and enjoy the day or stay home with your grumpiness!

My new favorite pumpkin patch. Great vibes. Great coffee cart! So many cute picture opportunities.

We had a great time here today! The corn maze was really good. We'll have to go back at night! Enjoyed the tamales and pumpkins, hay bales, and kombucha!! Great place and entrance is free. Great for kids! We'll be back!

Over 6o family farms in Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah Countes have banded together to publicize what is in-season by month along with directions to their farms. This has been going on for many years, graduating from paper you could pick up at food coops to a website today. You can start your planning with their season guide: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/season_guide.php. Exact dates will vary with the weather in a given year. Then you can search by the food you want: meats, fruits, vegies, herbs, flowers and even children's activities: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/all_products.php. Or if you are out in the country looking for a farm stand you can use their map, then select a farm and see what hours they are scheduled to be open, and what farm goods they have: https://www.tricountyfarm.org/map.php They list children's activities like hay rides, pumpkin patches, corn mazes and petting zoos. Portland has a lovely and well developed farmer market system throughout the neighborhoods. Many local markets have local producer fairs like People's Coop and Zupans. And local markets are always glad to point out local products. We have regional wholesaler Organically Grown which is a huge farmers' produce coop. It was started by hippies in Eugene and 40 years later operates warehouses in Portland, Seattle and Spokane with annual sales of greater than $150 million. But if you want to visit the farm and buy direct, Tri County Farm is the Yelp of farms open to the public!

I felt sorry for these animals and wonder how they got a license to keep them. The animals were dirty and some had very little shelter from the rain and cold. They charge for everything here, we only did the inflatables they were $1 each ( there is a total of 3 of them.) The food area looked scary too. The glove the man was using looked pretty old and he didn't even have one on the other hand. Then he only wore it for a short time. I will never go back to this place.

I was not impressed with this place. While it is neat that they have exotic animals (a lion, tiger,…read morecamel, porcupine..etc) they were well cared for. They were in small dirty cages and seemed distressed. One rabbit we saw had a vicious infection in it's ears. The place is supposedly an exotic animal rescue operation, could've fooled me. It was quite disturbing. My girlfriend and I were debating making a call to some agency to investigate their operation. They have inflatables for the kids and a train ride (car ride) but its nothing to write home about. There is also a hay bale maze which looks as if they used last years hay because there is mold growing on it. We were going to go out to Sauvie Island but we decided to try a place closer to home this year. Alas, we are going to Sauvie Island next weekend. We didn't even feel like buying a pumpkin from Hoffman's after our experiences
