Similar to another yelpers review... We were driving around for quite a while searching for different tree farms in Oregon city area. I was feeling discouraged. Ended up stopping at one which only accepted cash or check, neither of which we had because 6 to 8 foot noble trees were $75, anything above that were $95. We just don't carry that kind of cash and we never carry a checkbook. On our way to Estacada for the nearest ATM machine to get cash, we did yet another Google search but because we were closer to this farm it popped up. To be safe, we gave them a call in advance. The fellow that answered the phone was super cheerful told us they had noble trees for $10 per foot. And alas, they accept credit cards! So the pit stop at ATM machine and ATM fee was unnecessary lol. Pulled into the very spacious parking lot and two friendly gentlemen Direct us where to park and what to do for this U- cut farm. They have a cute little gift shop with free Apple cider, hot cocoa and popcorn. Handful of crafts to purchase. And very festive atmosphere. The tree farm is full of amazingly beautiful noble trees!!! Not super muddy but better bring your boots. You can cut the tree yourself or they have folks around that will cut it for you. They will shake it & spell it for you too. I think we've just found our annual Christmas tree farm.

I've been to numerous tree farms in the area over the years and I must say that this one was by far the best. Incredibly well organized. Never any question about what to do, who will help you, how to pay for your purchases, or what the costs are. Great selections as well. Lots of trees of all sizes. We got the perfect tree. No hassles. Top rating.

What a wonderful surprise coming across this Christmas Tree Farm! We had been out driving to over 5 places who were all out of business or charging $75 for a 4 foot tree! Hemphill had brightly colored trees that caught our eye and we gave it a shot. So happy we chose to!! Wonderful kind staff that were attentive and helpful with cutting down the tree, carrying it back, bailing, etc. The farm is U-CUT but I was asked many times if I wanted them to do it for me. Cute barn with gifts, coffee, and cocoa. They also take credit cards! We will definitely come back each year.

This has taken me far too long to write, but Hemphill Farms came up in a conversation today so I just had to take a moment to sing their praise! What everyone else says is true--the staff are so incredibly friendly, they make you feel welcome from the moment you step foot on their property. They've spent such an incredible amount of time to pay attention to every detail. The parking lot had plenty of gravel, so we weren't left with the usual pumpkin patch/tree farm muddy tire and shoe combo. The barn (or a paved shop I suppose you could call it) where you pay for your pumpkin or tree is nice and warm, bright, clean, and smells great! They had tons of cute decorations and household items, like candles and these super cute little felt crow cutouts (how could I resist?!). Paying with our card was a breeze (not to mention at a much more affordable price than other local farms!) and they offered plenty of help with whatever we needed. We can't wait to pay them a visit again this year, and we're so happy we can support a local farm. Keep up the great work, Hemphill Farms!

Plenty of beautiful trees to choose from.

We just picked out our Christmas Tree at Hemphill Farms and couldn't be more happy with our experience there. It's a beautiful setting with Mt. Hood peeking out in the backdrop. Lots of acreage and tons and tons of healthy full-grown Nobles. There was such good selection that we had a hard time narrowing down from several favorites. They loan out saws and knee pads and send you on your way. Once you select a tree, they have plenty of employees on ATV's ready to pick up your tree and bring it to prep and net for the ride home. Trees are $11/foot up to 9ft, then $15/foot above 9ft. They have a darling little shop where you may sip complimentary hot cider, hot cocoa or coffee. Freshly made kettle corn is available for $3/bag and other snacks for purchase. Complimentary reindeer food available in baggies to bring home and leave out on Christmas Eve. Christmas decor for sale as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big bonus for us was that dogs are welcome, even on the hayride and in the shop! We will definitely return next year and beyond for our Christmas Trees!

The best!!! I looked all over for a nice tree at a reasonable price and this place is IT! Everyone was so kind and helpful and we were allowed to go to the right place for our perfect tree. They shook out the tree, wrapped it, carried it to our car and gave us twine to tie it down. You cannot beat the prices and friendly service! I can't wait to go back next year!!!

A Dream Wedding Venue with Amazing Owners!…read more We had our daughter's wedding at Redland Family Farm, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful or accommodating venue. From the start, Adelle and Tim were so patient and helpful, even with the many questions and requests we threw their way. They always responded with kindness and made the entire process so much easier for us. They went above and beyond on the wedding day--Adelle even helped turn simple cheesecloth into gorgeous curtains, creating a warm and romantic entryway for the bride and groom. The venue itself is stunning, with two separate suites for the bride and groom to get ready, a large parking lot for guests, onsite staff to assist throughout the day, and the most breathtaking oak tree and sunset views you could imagine. Adelle and Tim are such a wonderful couple to work with, and their property is truly a gem. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty with caring, hands-on owners, Redland Family Farm is the perfect choice!

You can tell it's a family-run space, and that makes all the difference. We got married on a chilly summer solstice day with unexpected rain, and Tim was constantly stoking the fires to keep everyone warm and cozy. Even with the weather, there were so many beautiful, usable spaces for our guests to enjoy. The property is breathtaking in every direction, rain or shine! Adele and Tim were the kindest, most accommodating hosts. The whole day felt warm, welcoming, and so well supported. If you're looking for a venue that's as thoughtful as it is gorgeous, this is it. We are so grateful we chose Redland Family Farm - it was the best decision we made, and we would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat!

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

I always need to use my GPS to find this place even though I have been here at least 3 or 4 times. They have a small little gift shop and they also serve lots of different teas, lemonades, and snow cones with a variety of lavender flavors. I enjoy the whole peacefulness of this place. A couple of years ago they also hosted a lovely Yelp event. Some lavender places charge an admission fee or for parking, but this place in 2025 is still free and beautiful. I even saw a few artists painting the fields. It's tucked into the valley and is very private and serene. I ordered a lavender raspberry lemonade and it was delicious. They added a new wooden gazebo type space this year which is more handicap friendly than the original small deck they have connected to the drink window. The only downside I could see was that all the plastic drink cups were going into the trash cans. I am a big advocate for recycling when I can, and if I go back Im going to bring my own cup and see if I can use it when ordering a drink. The amount of plastic just seemed overwhelming, and I felt guilty throwing my cup away. Im hoping maybe they can switch to paper cups or something that seems more biodegradable as an alternative or have an option to recycle the cups next time. Overall, just a sweet little magical spot for lavender and quiet nature reflections.
