We spent a few hours here last weekend, and enjoyed several different beers including one that had boba in it. We didn't eat, but the pizza and the pretzels I saw looked good. This brewery has a large enclosed patio and there was some sort of corn hole event happening out there. Inside, there was a pop up shop selling handmade valentines chocolates. Frogg Brewing is located just outside Keene in Swanzey New Hampshire. My friends drove down from Keene and we had a really enjoyable dinner and conversation on the back patio. We ordered some great appetizers, burgers and wraps, and (of course) some brew, everything was delicious. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming to us and my pup. Ginko was treated like royalty, given water, offered treats and attention. In addition to food and drink you can play corn hole, check out the gift shop area where you will find lots of frog inspired options. The owners Michael and Stephanie are community minded, and hold a variety of fun events here, most benefitting charities. I had high hopes for my visit but was not overly impressed by the selection or availability of beers. For many of the selections there were only single cans and not enough to get a four pack. I actually was driving by and stopped in to pick up some cans for the 4th of July but ended up having a pint instead because there were very few cans available (especially in ipas). With that said, the pint that I had was decent and the tasting room is spacious and clean. The bartender was also friendly and I later learned brewed the beer I tried. All in all it's a good spot I was just disappointed as I had hoped there would be more available cans. read more

The staff is super friendly, had their wine slushy which was very good and the BLT wrap, it was decent but mostly lettuce, could have used some more bacon, and the tomato was a bit mushy. Other than that, it's a fun environment. read more

Stopped by Frogg brewing to check out a newer spot. Positives are cool signage/logo, nice smaller indoor space and nice outside covered and screened patio with corn hole overlooking lawn and trees and a relaxed atmosphere. Had two flights of beers and the whole family had food from the outside food truck on site. Food menu is limited and was slow to arrive. My pulled pork sandwich was ok- overpriced for what you are getting, but I'd get the fries we ordered again. My wife agreed her sandwich was so-so as well. As for the beers-Had Black IPA, a stout, double ipa, regular IPA and some other lighter options. Over the years I've been to A LOT of breweries and have tried a lot of different types and these are definitely not your typical expected flavors. The best way I can describe it is despite all being very different styles, all four of us agreed all the beers had the same cloying weird aftertaste, almost a sourness after the initial flavor that would not typically be what you'd expect from the beer description and beer style. We asked someone on site if they could help us figure it out since it was so noticeable and he said something like they use the same yeast and many of the same ingredients across many of the different beers, so that would probably be it. Overall the beers were disappointing flavor wise, light bodied and not for us, but obviously based on reviews others do enjoy them so go visit for yourself to see what you think. read more

We sat outside overlooking a field for games such as corn hole. Our friends brought their dog who was treated beautifully being given a pup cup, water bowl and a mat to relax on. The waitress even turned on the outdoor fan and pointed it toward us. Very thoughtful! The food was good from the food truck on site. The waitress was pleasant. Three things made me think, "Huh...." to myself. 1. They don't serve water in a cup. If customers want water, they have to buy bottled water from them. The reason from the waitress was because it was deemed undrinkable but they readily gave it to the dog. 2. The waitress asked for our debit/credit card in advance of the order in case .... 3. When we paid our bill, our friends had grabbed 5 beers from inside the brewery. One of those cans was $9.00. No problem except on her bill, the breakdown of the bill did. It show on the screen on the machine. So she left a tip comparable to the amount shown on the screen. When they gave her a receipt it did not show the tip. To make sure the waitress did get a tip, they gave her a detailed receipt. That's when she realized they added the 5 beers to her total and based the tip on that. So her check was $20 with an added $30 for the 5 beers she grabbed herself and brought to our table. So the tip was based on $50 instead of $20. When she asked them about it, they said they would credit the sale and redo it which my friend was hesitant to do and left it as it was. But to me the whole thing seems opportunistic and just wrong. So, the food was good, the atmosphere outside was pretty good but the integrity feature was not so great. They worried about us being dishonest with our bill thus taking our cards in advance but then were themselves kind of questionable with our friends' bill. She could have had the bill redone but she is not petty and wasn't going to worry about the extra $6.00. It just gave me that , "Huh..." feeling in not a great way. *I think they take everyone's card in advance, not just ours, I hope. Nice place to go but just know there are some quirks. read more

Had the best experience today! We have been wanting to try this place and finally got the chance to do so. Can't say enough good things about it. Amazing customer service, delicious food (even with the limited options), beers were fantastic and the live music was the cherry on top. Definitely try the Java Frogg if they have it. Rob was the perfect host and took great care of us with the two kids. They really enjoyed the ice cream and the BBQ wings with mac n cheese. We will be back soon!! read more

This is a great place to stop on your way through to/from Keene. To start, the DIPA is really really good. Also, if a Pale Ale could be tagged with "New Hampshire Pale Ale" theirs would be the one. Smooth, clean, not overly sweet and it is not fruity/cloudy like everyone's "New England" style. It has very small hint of pine and a traditional Pale bitterness but smoothness. A really well balanced beer. And I loved that they can the beer for you right from the tap and several came in to order cans right from the tap to take home. That's how I had the DIPA a few hours later. The nitro Stout seemed a hit as many were ordering that and raving about it too. The bartender was one of the owners and the atmosphere was very relaxed. A variety of food options and warm, soft pretzels at the bar. A perfect place to stop in, have a few and take some home. read more

No fuss brewery in a small New England town. Looks like they do not currently have in-house food options. They do however host a series of events where food trucks/catered food is brought in. To the main point, the beer is excellent. The Bomb double IPA competes with nearly any independent/craft beer I've had nationally. Very worthwhile stop along a scenic NH route. read more

There kroak IPA was possibly the worst IPA I had this year under carbonated, flat on the for front with no hop aroma or flavor with the back end featuring a weird sweet tangy taste I was unable to drink the whole beer and dumped it down the sink it tasted like a first home brewer's beer gone array, there other beers were also under carbonated and of insufficient quality. I would not recommend this brewery to any serious beer enthusiast read more
