We found a gem during a rainy Sunday! Had a flight next door at the brewery and then ventured over to the barn whish is lovely!!!! We were offered wine tastings and came home with a couple of bottles. Wonderful experience full of New England charm. Great beer and wine! People showed up with children and food It is on web site. No food or drink brought on. Looked like they had been served elsewhere. When explained to them not licensed for people to bring in food. I love fruit wines, so I was instantly interested in trying this winery. It's located on a farm property (so barn and main house), and found the front door on our second attempt. The first floor has the shop area, and it is NOT level. It's marked, so check your feet periodically. The tasting bar is on the second floor, and additional table space on a third. The barn does not seem to have AC or fans (maybe the latter in the summer - it was an abnormally hot April and very stuffy). The time of month you go may matter - unfortunately a lot of wines (fruit and grape) were sold out at the end. The wines I did try were very good, and the proprietor was helpful in finding the bottles we were interested in purchasing. They also make gift baskets if you need a last minute present. read more

The owners are very welcoming and they strive to provide a comfortable atmosphere for their guests. The Backroom Brewery is cozy and has a friendly vibe. I enjoy the gluten free ale and my husband enjoys the darker beer. The barn is beautifully remodeled and a fun place to enjoy a glass of wine. One of my absolute favorite wineries in the country. They've now moved down the street and the new building is absolutely GORGEOUS. Plenty of spaced out seating, I was so very excited to stop in here last night and check it out. The owners are beyond nice and friendly, and they know their wine! The flavors here are incredible. Lime in the coconut, summer smoosh, and their cherry wine are a few of my favorites, although I'm pretty sure I love them all. They're always experimenting with new flavor combinations, which is why I keep coming back over and over yearly to try out the new combos. The perfect place to send a lazy Saturday eating cheese and sipping on fruit forward wines. read more

We love wineries and sweet fruit wines. These are not sweet. If you like dry or semi-sweet you might like these wines. They have a ton of flavors but we did not find any out of the 10 we tried that we thought were what we are used to. The owner is a bit crass and lectured me on their prices being based off laws but the one down the road was half the price for tasting. Charges $8 fee to open a bottle on site. $12 for a glass! That's not worth it to me. The website made it sound like it was a nice area to buy their snacks-cheese, meats, crackers etc. but it was high priced and basically sitting in their yard on a lawn chair. Bathroom is an outhouse. Not the nice wineries we are used to back in Midwest. read more

Wednesday. Finally on the down side of the week. A trip to Cameron's seemed in order. Their selection of wines is pretty amazing. We did a tasting and bought some bottles to take home and give as gifts. During the tasting I kept thinking of food with which to pair each wine. They were friendly and accommodating. When we first pulled up the place looked quaint on the outside. When you get inside the building it's a restored barn. Very dark inside. If you are really tall walking around in this building in the first floor isn't for you. Very dimly lit hard to see and not to mention the musty old barn smell. Even on the upper levels. When we went upstairs to the tasting area the board to see the available wines fruit or grape was hard to see from the sunlight coming in the window as upstairs was dimly lit. Wine tasting prices were 5 samples for $10 These are given to you in a plastic shot glass. And another cup is given to you do you can pour your tiny sample into your plastic glass. Bottle prices for fruit wines are $17.00 each or Grape wines $19 a bottle We didn't try any of these. We were going to buy a bottle and sit outside until you get the let down price of an additional $8.00 to uncork the bottle on the property. "Ridiculous " Thanks but no Thanks. Went today to Cameron's Winery with my boyfriend as just a quick stop on our way to New Hampshire. WELL WORTH the stop!! The owners, Paul and Lesley were very personable, talked to us and gave recommendations! Service was prompt and the space was amazingly remodeled and chic for a barn winery. They offered plenty of space, indoor and outdoor. Great place for making your own charcuterie board if you bring the board yourself. lots of local bites available. This winery is seriously amazing! We are from Rhode Island and found this place while on vacation, camping in northwestern MA. We were looking for a winery or brewery that also served food, and this place fit the bill... and blew us away! The woman who runs the place is a little kooky and she can be a bit loud, but overall she is nice and she knows a lot about wine. But I will say, she told us that "none of the wines are sweet," yet we tasted 5 different wines and every single one was as sweet as you could imagine! They use different fruits to make their wines, and each wine tastes exactly like the fruit it's named after. We tried lemon, blackberry, blueberry, pink grapefruit, and pear, and all of them were delicious. I bought a bottle of the pink grapefruit, and my aunt bought 3 different ones! They also have ciders on tap which you can taste, so we tried the blueberry, blackberry, and mango. There are even jellies available for tasting (and buying!), which you can try with crackers. All the jellies we tried tasted delicious, exactly like the wines they are named for. They also have a food menu which changes by the day. My boyfriend and I split the stuffed manicotti -- good thing because it was huge (and delicious)! My aunt got the salad, which was heaping with cheeses, crackers, apples, and other fruits. It didn't have dressing because it already had so much flavor. The atmosphere is casual, even though the place has a very chic/ bistro-type look. There are bottles of wine hanging on vines from the ceiling, there is a small tasting bar in the corner, and there is a bar and seating area upstairs with cute little tables and a display case of wines. We showed up in casual summer clothes and were relieved to see the owner was dressed similarly. 10/10, you should definitely check this place out! read more

What a surprise this place was! I'd never heard of Cameron's Winery. We stumbled across the place while on a back-road drive to New Hampshire. The tasting area is a very nice, crisp, clean dining room type place. Small tables, racks of gifts and wines. It is really quite nice. The wines are quite interesting. Cameron's uses their own grapes, but freely admits to running to the grocery store to buy some grapes if they need them. Still, most of the wines on our tasting (I forget the price, but it was reasonable) were very good. Lots of flavorful varieties with seasonal fruits and grapes. Our host was very informative and ready to give all the info about how each wine was made. The big fermenting area is viewable right off the tasting area. On the day we visited, there was a small local "market" going on out front. And when I say small, I mean small...six or seven crafters and food vendors. But it was a pure country experience. Very nice. If you happen to take Route 10 up in to New Hampshire, I recommend stopping at Cameron's. read more

Some would call it magic, we'd call it Cameron's Winery. An exceptionally amazing place run by truly compassionate, knowledgeable, and nurturing people. Leslie and Paul have created a wide variety of wines and ciders available for tasting and you will not regret your time experimenting. We got to experience the picnic slate, which was unbelievably adorable filling and the cheeses were amazing. One we fought over because it was surprisingly tingly yet enjoyable. Our Only regret is we didn't try the lasagna. Also I want to add momma Leslie sent us home with a huge bag of candy (the good stuff:snickers m&m,Milky Way , Twix). You can't go wrong here. While on the back road drive to New Hampshire to purchase some liquor we noticed the winery on the right-hand side. I told my wife look the winery let's stop and see what it's about. We then walked in and were greeted by the owner who was extremely helpful and super nice. To my surprise the wine was super good unique and different but very very good. We did the tasting and purchased three bottles highly recommended super nice people in a beautiful setting. read more

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would have. We had been waiting weeks to attend an event for a birthday party and had traveled from Connecticut to attend. As soon as we got there, a worker, an older lady, rushed over to our party and forcibly told us to leave because we had a child in our party. We were mainly there for the barbecue, not even for the alcohol. It was completely unprofessional and rude. We are a family of business owners and we would never disrespect our clientele that way. On our way out, a local asked us what had happened and said that it was handled "ridiculously" by the worker. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and am only happy that I left before I was able to spend any of my money there. read more

Came here for a tasting after running some errands. Initial reaction was that it was a cute space and we were excited to try the wines. After being greeted very awkwardly we asked for paper to write down the wines we wanted to try. Filled out the post it note and handed it in. Found a table and waited. Worried we maybe were supposed to wait at the counter we walked back over.. where the woman at the counter was still talking to the only other couple in the building and didn't acknowledge us in the slightest. Took a seat a table closer (within eye shot) and waited another 5 minutes. At this point we had waited 20 plus minutes and the place was empty. She didn't even make an attempt to make the wine flight or let us she would be over any time soon. We felt very awkward and left. As someone that works in this industry I am very disappointed. Would have loved to try the wines.. and since we did not that is why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1. Doubt we will give it another chance. read more

I'm so torn on what to post. I've loved this place and today was my third time there and the woman who runs it was incredibly rude. I brought a few of my friends there for my birthday and what an awful experience. You would think me coming in with 5 other people would have been a positive but instead we weren't treated very nicely. I was embarrassed and it put a damper on my birthday because she was so unpleasant. She wouldn't even talk to us about the wine... she said we could walk around and figure it out. The last time I was there she said we could bring food in and relax while drinking wine, so we brought cheese and crackers. This time she said no, which was fine, I said we would put it away. She insisted we leave it out but lectured us about how we shouldn't bring food to a "restaurant" except it isn't a restaurant and she has said in the past we could bring food. My brother in law eventually asked her to leave the table because she just would not stop. I'm done with this place... sucks because I like the wine but I'm not dealing with a rude owner. I felt incredibly embarrassed by her behavior in front of my guests. read more

Absolutely fantastic winery experience! If you like fruity wines then this is the place to go. My friend and I stopped yesterday after promising we'd stop back in the next time we were in the area and we were so happy that we did. We got a personal tour of all the wines, and the woman (I think she was the owner) was so helpful. She described the wines beautifully and even offered up various recipes for each wine. We ended up doing a tasting and each selected 5 wines to try. She set us up at a lovely table upstairs and we purchased cheese and crackers and enjoyed our wines while Frank Sinatra played in the background. Really peaceful. I didn't want to leave! There are nice paintings hanging up that tempted me but I had no where to put them. A great selection of cheeses and crackers, and of course, so many wines. We ended up purchasing an enchanting orange wine and a really memorable rhubarb wine but honestly, I wanted a bottle of everything we tried, it was that good! She even recommended some local places to visit including the Kringle Candle Company which was pretty cool. Anyone that loves wine, and unique wine flavors, should stop in when in town. We loved this place. We were on a getaway from Boston, and having seen their website knew they sometimes have live music. I emailed in advance to see if they would be having some on the weekend we were visiting the area, they returned message within 24 hours and said "of course" When we arrived, about a half hour before posted closing time on a Saturday night, they were very welcoming. We wanted to try the new hard ciders: we sampled all three that they had that night: a dry apple, as well as blackberry and a blackcurrant cider. The co-owner and cider-meister was very friendly and knowledgeable, we learned a lot of things we didn't know about the industry. After the cider we went down to the wine counter where the other co-owner was pouring. There wasn't a particular tasting lineup, rather a large variety of things, and she seemed to keep pouring. If you liked one thing, she would say "well then, you might like this!" The band played until 8PM, kind of local home grown stuff, very folksy. Lots of folks seemed to stop in for a glass of wine, cider, tasting, whatever. Kind of a party atmosphere. They sell over a hundred varieties of wines, with odd things you wouldn't get elsewhere, like "lime in the coconut" Mango wine, and "blubarb". We left with three bottles and a half growler of blackberry cider after a fun hour of meeting locals and tasting. Not charged for the tastings since we bought, but really, they hardly seemed to be keeping track, going by the honor system. read more

I stopped by this past Sunday after a visit to Cathedral of the Pines. I had been to their original location in NH last year and enjoyed it then. Was delighted to find them in their new location because I wanted to re-visit but lost track of them. I visit wineries for 2 reasons: to sample small production/local wines and for the experience of being there and getting to know the wine makers. It's not always that I catch a tasting at a time when I can really steal a few minutes but this week I hit it just right. The owners/wine makers are charming, down-to-earth and engaging but most of all, totally committed to creating a great product. Plus they are proud of their wines and it shows in how they present them. I am definitely not a wine snob and don't pay $30 or more per bottle. Typically, I don't like fruit wines other than grape; however there is something about how they make their wines that intrigues and teases my taste buds. There were a couple that knocked my socks off - I loved the Black Currant and also the Apricot...yeah, not grape, right? Who'd have thought it. At any rate, I'd recommend you stop by to visit, taste and if you're lucky enough have time to meet the Camerons. Tell them the types of wine you like and then let them choose. It's more fun that way and allows you to expand your palate. Can't wait for the Lime in the Coconut. It won't be long and this time I won't miss out. That's the beauty of small production.
