For the little bit of work performed, their cost is very high and I personally would never go back there again - this vet is only after the money. I had put a comment in this regards in year 2020 and shortly after, I've noticed my comment had been deleted. My rating is less than one star! - they are very incompetent.

We went to this office with our dog with some concerns with bumps he had around his anus. She hmm'ed and aaah'd a bit, and explained she had a good idea of what it was, but had to consult some documentation. She left the room and returned. She not only had the information, but also a quote for the procedure with added extras based on what she recommended, and information regarding the "litterature" on the subject. The price went above 1k. The consultation lasted less than 10 minutes, and we were gone. We were worried, no questions were asked, nothing was explained. We ended up getting a second opinion, and lucky us we did. The second vet took the time to look at the area, to feel it, did a prostate exam, emptied the anal glands (discovered there was a bit of infection there as well, and showed us). Spent a good 15 minutes just EXPLAINING why he wouldn't do the procedures due to the risks and the age of our dog. We left the second vet with a sense of comfort and control on the situation, with a very clear understanding that surgery was NOT the best option. The first vet was clear she wanted to do a surgery, and even if she did, there would've been other surprises along the way which would meant more money forked over. We are definitely NOT going back to the Eardley vet. It felt very impersonal and business-like, shoving us with a quote and with barely any effort given.
