Got there 8 minutes late and they refused to see us. My dog has a simple ear infection, but we were told we had to reschedule now because they are running behind! WHAT, if you are running behind, how could you have seen us right at 2:45. This place is a joke and so is the one in Canton. The canton clinic didn't have a vet that was comfortable diagnosing runny stool. So, what exactly is the vet comfortable doing???

They explained they didn't have the Vet's surgery calendar but can schedule a pre-surgery appointment and at that time get scheduled for surgery. I agreed and asked if both cats could also be checked for ear mites as well. I arrived 30 minutes early. While in the waiting room, a medium sized black dog escaped from an exam room, barking and jumped at my cat cage, I tried not to scream, but couldn't help it. Two workers came running, the guy picked up the black dog and returned him to the exam room. On our turn, I thanked the guy for helping to remove the dog from my cat cage. The visit with the first assistant and then with the vet went well. I agreed to get shots done now instead of waiting for a rabies clinic. I held Alli-cat down for the vaccine shot, then the second shot HCPCH Vacc#1, I held her down again the needle went in, the cat squirmed, the assistant pulled the needle out and said he didn't get it. We tried again, then the assistant grabbed a blanked and suggested that another staff member can help, I agreed. He took Alli-cat out where another staff member could assist. I hear the cat screech 4 different times...terrible...I get that cats don't like this sort of thing...but it needed to be done. When he returned with Alli-cat, I suggested that the staff member assist with Hamilton. He agreed and took Hamilton and the blanket out to the other room. I heard Hamilton screeching unbelievably that they could not give him his shots today. A girl returned to my room where I was waiting to get my cat carrying cage. I asked if everything was okay ..... she explained that they haven't even given him one shot yet..... I was getting a little nervous. The guy came back with Hamilton in the cage and said they could not give Hamilton his shots. I thought that was a little weird. He said we can give him his shots at the time of his surgery. Can't believe they couldn't handle a 3 month old cat ..... isn't this what they are in business for?? My cat is clearly domesticated, loving cat. I understand the cat was probably scared and nervous. The way Hamilton sounded; he definitely went through trauma. I will never take my cats back to T&C Clinic again. I understand that cats can screech, cry and meow when getting vaccinated. My first thought was maybe I should have held him down myself. The guy goes over the estimates for the spay and neuter; then I go the desk and pay for today's fee $245 and asked for a surgery date. The receptionist says you will have to call for a surgery date. I explained that I have already called to request a surgery date and they gave me today's appointment as a pre-surgery appointment and asked her to call me once they have the surgery date. I was repeatedly told that I need to call for a surgery date, finally I thought to myself, what a joke, I need to get out of here and never come back. Donna Goodrich Brasher Falls, NY

Just wanted to let you know my precious Yorkie Snickers died Friday evening after routine work at…read morethis clinic. I live in Canada currently for work and at the recommendation of my boss I took Snickers to this vet in Ogdensburg, NY Thursday for a routine teeth cleaning. They did blood work before they did the procedure and said everything was "beautiful" so they would proceed with putting him under anesthesia. They did the procedure and released him around 4:30 pm Thursday. They said everything went well and he didn't require any extractions in fact they told me his teeth were in such great shape that whatever I was doing to "keep doing it." They said he would be groggy from the anesthesia but would be back to his normal spunky self in 24-48 hours. His breathing was rapid and he sounded like he was snoring by the time we got home. I stayed home from work Friday to keep an eye on him and even called this vet to ask about his current state and held the phone up to Snickers so they could hear him but the person on the phone said it was normal so I went to my 4:00 pm gym appointment with my trainer. By the time I got back home Snickers was lying down on the bathroom rug, still breathing, but I noticed a little bloody vomit on the carpet. I scooped him up and took him to his primary vet here in Canada within 2 minutes of my house. He vomited what looked like bile on me and died in my arms in the 2 minutes it took to get there I contacted the after hours emergency at this clinic and someone called me back. All I got was a "sorry for your loss" so I made arrangements through the vet in Canada to have him cremated and his ashes returned to me. I spent $286 for what was supposed to be a "routine" dental cleaning....now I had to spend an additional $350 the next day to cremate him. I returned to this vet clinic today (Saturday) to request my money back but all I got was "sorry, no management on site to discuss this with you....come back Monday." Obviously I was extremely upset and very emotional. Snickers was everything to me. He was only 9 years and 5 months old and was in perfect health when we walked in on Thursday....the cleaning was supposed to be routine. They asked me to leave and I refused so they called the Sheriff on me. I am beyond heartbroken. Between May 2017-November 2017 I lost my younger brother, stepfather and uncle. Now not even three weeks after returning to Canada from my home in Virginia where I underwent three major surgeries that Snickers saw me through I have lost my very best friend and I'm supposed to be okay with an answer of "well that's the risk of anesthesia-that's why we have you sign the paperwork" from some doctor at this clinic. This is unacceptable. If his teeth were in such great condition why not just examine him and tell me from the outset the cleaning isn't needed? So if you are reading this review please save yourself the pain and risk of loss and just don't do it. Clearly someone at this clinic does not understand the correct amount of anesthesia to safely administer to a 7 pound Yorkie in excellent health. Oh and if your dog dies after a procedure at their clinic keep in mind they will want the body to do a necropsy to determine cause of death if you are requesting a refund for a routine procedure. The after hours person who called me failed to mention that which is why I chose not to hang on to my dog's dead body for three days and opted to have him cremated as likely any loving pet parent would do. If there was an option to give this clinic ZERO stars I absolutely would. Taking him to this clinic for a "routine" procedure will forever be the biggest regret of my life!

Saying goodbye to our beloved French bulldog, Jax, was a difficult moment in our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Dr. Martin and Hannah took the time to explain everything clearly, answered our questions, and ensured that Jax was comfortable, dignified, and surrounded by love in his final moments. The clinic was clean, calm, and thoughtfully prepared, which helped create a peaceful environment during an emotional time. Most importantly, they gave us a genuine sense of peace. Jax was treated not just as a patient, but as a member of our family. We are forever thankful for the kindness, care, and humanity shown to all of us.
