This is a must read:…read more Unfortunately, I had to put down my little man, Turbo due to heart failure.... I was hassled around by 3 vets including my own until I found one who was absolutely so professional and kind. I called Kozy Acres and spoke with Casey. I told him through my tears the situation and he asked a few questions (weight, name, breed). He said bring him in and they will be waiting.... Firstly, just from the phone call alone Casey was absolutely incredibly sympathetic but in such a professional way. Secondly, I was scatter brained and called again to confirm the time I would be bringing him in. He called back promptly and apologized since they were in the middle of cremation- he didn't have to apologize but he did. Fast forward to finally making it there.... I believe it was Tom who came to the front and once again treating us like we were family and sharing stories of his own dachshunds he had. He was kind, sympathetic and gentle through the whole process. There are good people out there and then there are amazing loving caring souls - that's Kozy Acres. They do not miss a beat when it comes to a proper, respectful funeral and cremation and or burial. They have so many memorial items to choose from. So many was to remember your pet. He said we could view the process in the AM when they would do the little animals for private cremation. Casey called at 7:30am saying it would happen at 10am. I think what got me the most was being able to view his beautiful little body at peace wrapped up in such beautiful blankets. This is the most calming and peaceful place. You are not waiting weeks and days for ashes. You are not waiting for answers and you treated like a family member here! Thank you so much Kozy Acres for the beautiful gifts and the most precious time with my Turbo! This place is absolutely truly special!

I went to pickup our beloved cat of 17yrs. We had a private cremation with a paw print, and we asked for some hair from our cat to be saved as I display it in a frame with a Picture. We have always dealt with Tom and Vic both are very compassionate men. But I am not sure who the woman is that works the front office. I saw her when we brought our Baby in there. But only talked to Tom. Picking up our Baby was an very bad experience dealing with this woman. We have the Ashes and Paw print of our Baby Girl but no fur. I asked the woman for the Fur and she told me that it wasn't on the work order. When it clearly was written there. The woman was very aggressively moving things around on shelves looking for the fur, but didn't find it. I asked her if she could get Tom for me, and she made a comment under her breath, " It's just a bag of fur you have her ashes and pawprint" . I said "excuse me", and she had a very cold look on her face. She preceded to tell me " she having a bad day and if she finds a bag of fur laying around she'll call, and walked away and left me by myself in the front lobby. I gathered my sweet Baby's ashes pawprint and paperwork myself and left. I have been a loyal customer of Kozy Acres, but I'm sorry this is a horrible experience with this woman who seems to bring her personal life to work with her and that is not a good work ethic. If you happen to go to Kozy Acres and you see the woman with the RBF (resting B@#$% Face) avoid her at all costs. Thank you Tom and Vic for your compassion!

The biggest benefit to this clinic is that it is walk in appointments, except for surgeries. So convenient! The staff is friendly, yet professional. I have experience with five other clinics, and Hobart Animal Clinic is my favorite. I always request Dr. Wozniak, as she gets to the point and tells me what she would do if it were her animal. Reasonably priced, though this definitely isn't a low cost clinic. However, you get what you pay for here. New and clean facility, educated and friendly staff, walk-in welcome, wide range of preventatives. I love this place so much that I take my family's pets here, who live two hours away. I can't say enough good things about this place. Keep up the good work!

Total wait time so far is 2 hours. An hour out front and an hour in the room waiting on a Doctor. The young man who took us back was awesome. But this is ridiculous having to wait over 2 hrs when obviously they were not busy! I've been coming here for over 20 years with several pets. This is by far the worst!!! I think it's time to find another Veterinary Clinic. I do not recommend Hobart Animal Clinic!!! Stay away unless you have 2 to 3 hours of your time just to get updated vaccines for your pet!

I kept the name of the business in the back of my mind, dreading the day when I would need to use them. Well, the time finally came, and I knew I wanted my little Lacie to pass peacefully on her favorite spot: the heat pad on the couch. Dr. Nicole called us about 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment and let us know her arrival time. When she showed up, she was the nicest, most gentle person ever. She immediately put us at ease with her calm demeanor and asked us all about Lacie and our life with her. When we were ready, the process was gentle, peaceful, and pain-free. If she had to leave us, I take solace in the fact that it was in her spot while I held her. Afterwards, we immediately received a foam paw print and were offered some hair and whisker clippings. Lacie was wrapped cozily in a basket and her brother got a chance to say goodbye before she was transported away to a water cremation. We poked a hole in the paw print and turned it into a Christmas ornament that we hung on our tree. A few days later, we received a beautiful eulogy Dr. Nicole wrote, and we were blown away by the amount of detail she picked up during her short time with us. We then received a card the next week with a personal note from her. I truly appreciate how she genuinely cares about her job, clients, and the animals. It somehow made an impossible decision a little more manageable. I will definitely use this service again if/when the need arises, and highly recommend anyone to consider saying goodbye to their pet in their favorite place.

This is how I felt when I reached out to Peaceful Endings. While the decision itself will not get any easier, Peaceful Endings will make the weight of the decision more manageable. A few weeks ago, one of my cats was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The news came out of nowhere and I was absolutley devastated. While we were able to borrow a little time after the diagnosis with the use of sterroids, the grim reality was that her quality of life could drastically decline at any moment. I knew I couldn't let her suffer like that, but also couldn't bring myself to schedule her departure. I'd called so many home services, but was continually met with the necessitiy to schedule for a few days out. After days of calling, I had just about given up hope, and since it was one of the first beautiful days of the year, she was having a really good day, and I just wanted to enjoy it with her. As I sat watching her sunbathing, I told myself I needed to try at least one more time--if I could let her go on the highnote of the beautiful day, it would be the best chance I had at finding peace with the situation. I pulled up the only service that I had yet to contact, and submitted their online form. It was near the end of their office hours, so I told myself that if they reached out and could make it happen, it was meant to be. A few minutes later, I was answering Megan's call. She was so sweet, listening as I tried to give her the information between sobs, assuring me that it was alright and that she understood how painful this decision was. After the appointment was finalized, she stayed on the phone with me, giving reassurance that I was making the best decision for my sweet girl, even though it felt so horrible. This carried me through the next few hours. The time of the apointment came, and I received the text that I had been dreading: Dr. Emily had arrived. Allowing her into my home was the easiest and most difficult decision I've ever made. I wanted so desperately not to need her services, but I knew it was what needed to happen. Looking back, I'm so grateful I didn't back out, as much as I had wanted to, because I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She had such a calm and kind demeanor, offering reassurance that I was making a compassionate decision. She was so gentle and caring from the moment she arrrived through the time that they left. If you are looking for a sign, let this be it. Reach out to Peaceful Endings, and know that you don't have to carry the weight of this decision alone. Thanks to them, my sweet girl was able to pass peacefully at home, snuggled in my arms, at the end of a beautiful day. I'm eternally grateful for this, and hope they know how much peace it has brought me in the days to follow.

Dr. Smith did not prescribe Carl the treatment he should have gotten and no mention of referring me to someone else. He only recommended a diet change and a CALCIUM based phosphate binder. Long story short Carl went to a specialist but it was too late and I had to say goodbye to him this last Monday. I'm done with Coyne, not one mention or recommendation for a blood test, their app stopped working for me like a year ago and no mention of them switching to a different app (which they apparently did and that's how I kept up with reminders), still sending me ads for Carl even though they have his records from the specialist where he passed on Monday - had to call and ask them to stop because it's just too painful to keep seeing, Dan's I was told I could start sub fluids as a treatment option....its not about what I COULD do or what I could try. It's about what does my baby NEED? Money isn't an issue for me so ZERO excuse to not remind per parents of blood checks or other vital information. Carl ended up needing several meds and the doctor at Coyne even agreed I could try them. Luckily, I'm never going back there and we are pulling our dog as well. I simply can't trust them and need peace of mind for my pet. Carl was there since 2018 and never one discussion about blood tests (should get checked twice per year). I strongly advise you to leave Coyne and go somewhere more personal and knowledgeable. I feel like Coyne is desensitized to sick pets and that's not good. GRILL your vets and be sure you can trust whomever is reading your babies blood tests. If you have a cat, go get them blood tested twice a year once they're over the age of 6.
