Employees recommendations on the shelves call out individual titles. Lots of tables display trade paperbacks and hardcovers devoted to a particular theme or sale. One labeled "Five Star Fiction" presented well-reviewed new releases. If you order from the cafe look for a book near the register that's on sale for $5 with a purchase. I usually prefer used bookstores to new ones but this palatial Barnes & Noble is worth the stop. It's at the same I-95 exit as Buc-ee's.

I LOVED IT. I've been meaning to read more into my tarot books, but it always ends up getting forgotten about and whenever I do a tarot reading for a friend, I have to lookup the meaning in my book rather than knowing immediately what the cards mean. Deanna was so knowledgeable on each card and made the experience immersive and collaborative. She passed the card around the circle to have each person say what they notice about the card or feelings the card induces. This class was very valuable and I took many notes that I will look back on for my tarot journey. When I first walked in I wasn't even sure where to begin but it was great to be able to browse and see their extensive collection. Staff is very friendly and let us know that they curate their books from donations. If you donate your books to them, they create an account where you can have a credit on file to use. As someone, that occasionally does donate books, this is fantastic news! Additionally, all of their books unless otherwise stated are half off the cover value which is incredible and affordable! I already have more credit than I'll probably ever use, but I'm happy that my previously read books are going to a good home. The store has a pretty decent used book selection with floor-to-ceiling shelving (and also some graphic novels, CDs, and DVDs). It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? They're half off the cover price. How does the credit work? You get an additional half off the half-off price. So if a book has a cover price of $8, the store sells the book for $4. I can use my credit balance for an additional $2 off (half of the $4), leaving the book at a total of $2. There are also some $1 books on a rack outside the store. Everyone working there is always super friendly and helpful.

We were on our way to a concert and I had about 30 minutes to look for a few music books, which I found with the staff's help. I have to say that the staff were great and knew exactly where they kept the music books, good job! It's good to know this store has a variety of music books to choose from and for the most part they are organized well, except the ones on the floor. You just have to dig a little. I chose two Faber level III piano books and a Bastien level III piano technique book. The Bastien book was only $2 but it has a lot of notes from previous students. The two Faber books were $6 each and virtually untouched, excellent! Some of the books are on the pricey side, especially some of these old music books, they are asking $20 when the covers are missing and music score is illegible. I just don't see myself spending that much when I can put that $20 towards a brand new book series or Henle Album of exceptional quality. Regardless, I want to support local, and have been very happy with my purchase. I will return again to see what I missed on my previous visit. If you love book stores, this is a good one and definitely worth the stop.
