Everyone is so frantic and trying to move as fast as they can they forget to still enjoy life. I am telling you this because I just had a wonderful experience when I stopped by to try out this newer (been open one year) eatery in Lincoln. To my surprise the owner herself was working by herself clocking out some to-go orders all while making my food and chatting with me about her story through the food industry. She let me know that the number one selling item is their burger, so naturally I had a hamburger with lettuce, onion and pickle - no mustard or ketchup needed! The burger was outstanding much like the service; a true American story of opening your own business, with your own recipes and your own money - ohhh and the food is great - you do not find these type of places often anymore. Well done and I will definitely return soon and bring more people with me!!

And the old carpet just holds that smell. The restaurant was on the expensive side. The lunch specials started at $14.50. The cheapest sandwich was $15.99 and comes with one side. They offered a salad bar for $16.99 The hot bar was $18.79. Kids meals were all $9.99. I went with the hot bar because it had fried chicken on it. There were 4 different soups to choose from and all of the normal salad bar items. The pickled beets were really good. The skin of the fried chicken was soft from being in the steam table. Nothing crunchy left. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on a few times. Lunch for 3 adults and a kid was $70 plus tip.

Flaky with buttery caper sauce was rich and creamy over a bed of rice. My side was the salad bar which can hold its own as a meal all by itself. My husband ordered their famous 1lb pork chop. The mash was creamy and the Caesar salad side were good. Credit where credit is due.... The chop was cooked to temp however with the size and even with the red sauce it's basted with, my husband reported it a bit dry but he definitely enjoyed the process of eating it. The service as fine and we enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return next time we travel that way and try more on the menu
