It was your decision to decline services to my mom today even though she was not the one who gave yall the bad rating..it was me! She shouldn't face the consequences of my doings, but since yall want to be petty, instead of yall trying to make amends on the unfortunate last visit, let's do this again. "My mom" walked in today to give yall more business, and she said that upon walking in, she could feel the tension in the air from one of the receptionists. My mom did not even know that I had even posted the last review, so she was wondering why there was tension from one of the girls. The new receptionist, which was nice, preceded to wait on my mom and once pulling my mom's chart, he said that there was a note on "Her" file, not to see her pets anymore. Now keep in mind.. "I" posted the review... NOT MY MOM. She knew nothing about the review! Also, keep in mind that my mom has been a client of this business for many many years, since Dr. Baird owned the business. The other receptionist who had acted off told my mom that they would no longer be seeing her pets because of the review she posted & that she practically called the doctor a liar, & theres another vets office down the road that you can use. My mom said I haven't posted a review, and much less, I don't even have a Facebook. The receptionist then said well u need to talk to your daughter." So tell me this..what's the difference in my mom calling him a liar when yall called my mom a liar..?? Plz tell me! My mom doesn't lie, and she will be the last person to ever lie about something. Accidents happen, and we understand that, but don't try to push it off on my mom as a liar just because yall messed up not once but twice on the bill. First, for billing her another clients bill, then having to go back to fix that, to having to go back again and fix the bill bc you overcharged! Then call her a liar bc she said her cat only got one shot, but yall charged her for 2! Even the doctors response to her saying the cat only got one shot is --- "Alot of people come in here and say that"-- so if lots of people are saying that..then whats really going on?!! Do u expect her not to say anything?? Wouldn't you?? And then you take the review that i posted and put it on her when it was my doing. Im 37 years old and have my own animals. Take it up with me..not her! You got my number. Anyways..yall better pay attention to your bills! It is as if the people managing it doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing. I don't appreciate being charged an outrageous amount of money for unnecessary tests for my pet. I will be switching to another vet that is more concerned with actually treating the animals and not trumping up charges. It is almost as if Dr. Stone doesn't know what she is doing.

On 4/14/2026 we took our sick cat (Milo) to the Small Animal Emergency Services in Vass. Milo had…read morebeen vomiting and acting lethargic for several days. An x-ray showed he had a intestinal blockage. It came down to either putting him to sleep or paying for surgery. We opted for surgery, and today I am happy to announce he is doing great. He apparently ate a shoe string that he could not digest. Thanks to CareCredit, I am able to make payments. The loan will be interest free if I get it paid off within 6 months. My experience at this clinic was very positive. The staff was very helpful and polite. The doctor was excellent and diagnosed Milo's issue very quickly. For emergencies or if your normal veterinarian cannot get the job done, go to this clinic in Vass. They have more advanced imaging and can perform various surgeries, as needed. Just be patient, they can get very busy, but the wait is worth it.

We had a horrific experience with Small Animal Emergency Services in Vass over the weekend. Our…read more17-year-old Maltese was in a lot of pain, so we took her to Small Animal Emergency Services. Upon arriving they took our dog back into the treatment area and left her by herself to die after barking in pain for at least two continuous hours. My wife kept asking them to check on her since she was in horrific pain. They treated every dog but ours. They refused to let us see her. After 3 hours they told us she quit breathing and refunded our 500.00 dollars. Most importantly they took from us something we will never get back: The right for her to pass with her family by her side. How they treated her is unforgiveable and we urge anyone thinking of taking their pet to Small Animal Emergency Services to remember how they treated us and our beloved dog.

From the front desk staff to the techs to the veterinarians, everyone is always so kind and excited to see Tato. Pets are a little like human children, in the sense that while we as owners or parents of course think they're the most wonderful creatures alive, most people won't share that enthusiasm to the same degree. But at Lakeside, I get the impression that they really do genuinely enjoy Tato, and that's such a nice bonus. As for the level of care itself, they have graciously squeezed me in first thing in the morning before I have to be at work for minor things multiple times. For more complex concerns that require a full exam, I'm able to book an appointment in the app and I never have to wait more than a week to get my pup seen. Dr. Corpuz is fabulous! She's terrific about going over all available options regarding prevention and treatment for whatever is going on with your pet. You can always request an estimate up-front and the staff will absolutely provide that, so you always know what to expect as far as care and treatment costs are concerned. I'm moving close to an hour away and will be keeping Dr. Corpuz as our veterinarian. We love her, we love her staff, and we love how they treat my sweet girl. She looks forward to going to the vet, and I always feel like she's in excellent hands. 10 stars on a 5-star scale!

brought my cat & dog here for the first time today. did the curbside service, so handed my babies…read moreoff and waited in the car which is whatever. the person that came out to speak with us (assuming Vet Asst./Tech) was amazing. i didn't catch her name but she was easy to talk to and answered all my questions very knowledgeably. i told her everything my pets needed checked out/vaccines and she took them inside. after all was done, Dr. Wheeler called and let me know all that was done & offered a lot of knowledge as well on some of the things i had concerns about. we got my pets squared away and i am pleased to have found a vet office i am confident in. thought the price was fair. breathing air is expensive nowadays so i was bracing myself but wasn't as bad as i have heard from others.
