I'm going back in June, which will be my 10th consecutive year staying at this lodge. My reasons for going back year-after-year are now numerous. The fishing is consistently beyond comparison - the guides are the best in Southwest Montana; the large, nicely appointed, double occupancy guest rooms are cleverly separated by a step down and partial height partition wall, which provides a nice separation between roommates; the food is superb - gourmet quality and plentiful; and Jay and Mary, the lodge owners, are the nicest, most charming hosts you could ever hope for! Five Rivers Lodge is operated as a well-oiled machine, catering to the guest's needs and special requirements - all of which combine to make a stay at Five Rivers Lodge a memorable, rewarding experience. It's no wonder that it is frequented by so many known fly fishing greats. I highly recommend this lodge!

I got the smoked trout which came with a delicious salad, all made fresh from their onsite garden. My kids got the pickle pizza, which they let me try and that was devoured! We had drinks with other guest and our hosts on the balcony before going out to dinner. There is great attention to detail in your room, bathroom and throughout the manor with special touches. It is so clean and comfortable, the perfect place to relax and get a good night sleep. In the morning hot fresh scones and coffee were delivered to our room before breakfast. Then we had a delicious, gourmet breakfast served to us out on the balcony. We highly recommend Toad Hall Manor, it's a wonderful place to visit with engaging conversation and excellent food. Anytime we find ourselves in Butte we will be staying here. And next time hopefully we will have time to play golf too.
