I have been a Frontier customer since 1988 and most of that time the service has been ok with some minor service & billing issues. However, as of 3 months ago, it has been one nightmare after another with Frontier. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone between a service issue in early July ( that was ultimately fixed after much complaining over 3 days that resulted in all kinds of billing issues that I have yet to get Frontier to fully correct. Every time I talk to someone, they say they will get it corrected but the credits need a supervisor and manager approval to correct problem they caused. It took 2 months to get a credit, but then they erroneously charged me an install charge that doubled my bill. I am still fighting with them and feel beyond upset. Their systems don't talk well to one another, their processes make it hard to give credits where they are due and many of their employees lack knowledge of how their systems will bill or how changes they make affects your service & billing. I recently found out that a " retention representative " that I talked to in early July to lower my charges, unknowingly changed some coding in the system that not only caused me to lose my internet service the next day, but completely changed my service plan and doubled my billing erroneously!!! So, instead of saving me money, I lost service and have spent hours and hours on the phone for months before I was able to talk to a knowledgeable person who cared enough to help me & explain the problem. We are not done correcting the problem yet, but progress has finally been made. It's been a nightmare experience that I would not wish on anyone. It's really quite scary that it's so difficult to get to a live person, who is knowledgeable and cares. It seems that the company puts measures in place that make it extremely challenging to address issues with a manager & actually get a call back. read more

Frontier internet has robbed us! They charge for 6 mg but we only get 2 or 3! We get several texts every day that the service is out! when I try to cancel they tell me its cancelled then they don't cancel and continue to charge me! A representative told me that they are "pinged" if they allow a cancellation so they try not to cancel and continue to charge the customer! Now they are charging to return my equipment! I want my money back Frontier!!!!! read more

Frontier was great until recently where i have so many issues. And the customer service is horrible they overtalk you and kept pointjng the finger at me for all the issues that i told them i don't know how to fix. 2 out of 3 reps i have spoken to in the last week were rude snd kept overtalking. Starting as of today to look for a new provider as my internet is still dropping and lagging. read more

Canceling this service is a project, you can't do it from the app, you can't do it using customer service you have to call only Monday to Friday and have to go through a long hold to get to the right department. And then they have a cancelation fee!! There is no prorate for the month they charge full month even though you move with in two days of billing cycle. DO NOT use this company, one star is for Ponzi scheme. read more

I was a Frontier customer in North Carolina then moved to Florida where there was no Frontier service. I was promised, however, that I could maintain my Frontier email for life. WRONG!!!! My decades long Frontier email account was destroyed without warning. I lost all of my legacy emails, contacts, etc., etc., etc. You are out of your mind if you trust Frontier Communications at any level. They are massively unworthy of customer trust. My Frontier email address vanished! When contacted customer service and technical support they only read me "standard responses" from tech support script sheets. Even though I did't delete my email account - they say the problem is on my end. My webmail email account with Frontier and decades of legacy information is simply gone. I'm told there is no record of my account. Technically, Frontier could re-start my account but refuse to even acknowledge that it can be done. They outsourced email to Yahoo a long time ago. I made a HUGE mistake by trusting Frontier. What more can I say? In more than 30 years of working with computers.......this experience has ben the worst i've ever had. You have been forewarned. You should have your head examined if you ignore my warning. Hey, Frontier, turn my account "back-on" and I'll retract my review. But you won't. Readers: Pay close attention to how Frontier responds to my review - they'll blame it on me. Good riddance Frontier. They do not understand customer service. Phone reps give you the run around. Billings are inconsistent and tech support is virtually non- existent. There is no ability on their website to contact someone in charge. Who ever is responsible for interaction with customers, should be fired! read more

This company is a joke. Called into their (outside the US) tech support call center, and the agent didn't know the difference between a modem and a router; The between country lag was was about five seconds causing pure havoc trying to communicate; none of the tech support people I've talked to are remotely qualified, and instead follow scripts, and you are not allowed to actually talk to the qualified support people whoa re probably stateside, instead there are just long uncomfortable pauses while the "Tech Support" agent you are talking to, types things to the "qualified" level 2 techs. Frankly amazingly anti-customer organization. If you can't solve the issue over the phone 3 times with 3 different "Tech Support" agents basically ends the conversation saying "everything works on their end" and then stops talking, as if that's it. Call for help and the person I talk to, I could not understand then I try my best to explain the situation and he tells me to calm down and belittle me I guess where ever he is from they must think speaking to women is a joke because that's the way he made me feel. So i hing up on him i tried to call back and talk to somone one anyone else got another one just like him and told me he would have to oder me another box and would take ten days r u serious 10 days with tv and internet this cable service suck and they outsource there work to over seas ppl and tell them to give us Americannames to make it seem that they are in the us whwn in actualitythey are not. . read more

I don't normally write reviews so you know its serious if I am writing one. This company is complete garbage. Don't believe what they tell you about service getting better, it hasn't. I got the 1 gig internet service with 30 days of satisfaction guaranteed or my money back. Worst decision, should've listened to everyone that told me not to do it. I did an internet speed test over the modem and router and only got 700mbps and when I went to my room which is next door to it 300mbps. Everything lagged so much switching to Frontier from Optimum which surprised me because I'm supposed to get way more data with Frontier. I gave it 2 weeks and decided I've had enough so I cancelled my service. Cancelling was another headache as it takes so long to actually speak to someone and when you finally do, it's like they have no idea what's going on. I explained I had a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and they still tried to charge me $214. Someone finally helped me out and said I didn't have to pay. Several days later they charged my account and are now telling me in order to get a refund I need to wait 2 months for them to send a prepaid card in the mail... TLDR: Don't get Frontier cause they will screw you over in the end whether it's bad internet or customer service not helping you properly or hidden charges. read more
