They have a great gift shop portion of the nursery that is dedicated to *non plant* type items like candles, purses, dinnerware and candy. They also have a nice little coffee shop with a great seating area! Since I went in the winter they had a nice selection of house plants but mostly TONS of poinsettias and Christmas trees. The greenhouse smelled absolutely amazing with all the pine trees. The farmers market portion was AWESOME! Amazing vendors, live music, and fresh Alaska veggies like potato's, carrots, onions and tomato's. All in all it was a great experience!!

They have a wonderful gift shop full of treasures for all your family members ,they sell Sees' Candy , it's the only place in the state where you can find this delicacy.They have a coffee shop and Santa Claus is there for family pictures , South Anchorage farmers market is there every Saturday thru the 20th . They feature elite vendors who offer delicious baked goods , beautiful jewelry and other creative items that make perfect Christmas gifts . No exchange or comp because ALL the fault was mine. The "manager" refused to talk with me when I asked repeatedly. I paid a lot for the 3 baskets! But anyways about flowers.. she has quite a few to choose from but not a huge selection. Lots of greenery options to make your own bouquets. There's also tons of pots and house plants to choose from. We wanted purple flowers so we made our way into the cooler storage. Typical daisies, roses, Peruvian Lilies, Chrysanthemums. I bet if you call she can get you whatever you want. She also has any accessory to make corsages and extras for bouquets like sticks and butterflies. Kicked 1 star for Customer service, not a personable friendly lady but she knows flowers. I've shopped Home Depot for many yrs at the Abbott location in Anchorage. This past weekend my sump…read morepump went out. Crawlspace flooded over 2 feet of water. I went to home depot to get flex hose,clamps and duct tape. I had to borrow a pump. The ladies helping me asked if I were buying a pump and I had to explain that I couldn't afford one at the time. Had to wait till payday. Fixed income so you just do what you can and make the best of it. The conversation went on a little, I just felt broken. I got my stuff with everyone helping me and then one of the ladies told me to go to customer service to check out. Those sales ladies had gone and got me a sump pump. There are still kind, caring, people in this world and Home Depot has some angels working in their stores. I can't say thank you enough. And the salesman that was celebrating 48 yrs of marriage, thankyou for your kind words.
