I had a poor customer service experience with Frontier Pest Control. I had them at my house in Reno in August 2024 for a mouse problem, which they resolved. I had them again in August 2025 for another mouse problem, which they resolved. They came out for followup visits in September 2025 and we agreed the problem was resolved. However, the customer service was poor. I paid with a check on the day of service in August 2025. I got a notice in September 2025 that my bill was unpaid. I replied saying that I had paid with a check, which my bank reported as cashed, and can they please update their records. I got another notice in October 2025 saying that my bill was unpaid. I replied again, with an image of the check, asking them to resolve this because I don't like getting overdue notices for bills that I already paid. I got a reply back saying they resolved it, and "your account has been cancelled". Sure enough, the customer portal shows my name updated to "Do NOT do business with them". My brothers in Christ, all I did was pay on time - if your record keeping is poor, that's a you problem, not a me problem. If you keep sending bills to people who pay on time, and then cancel their accounts when they ask you to stop sending bills that are already paid, that's not a good way to run a business. And you may want to remove access to the customer portal for customers whose accounts you're canceling. So, two stars for resolving the mouse problems, but no stars for being bad at billing and blaming the customer for their billing problems. read more

I've used this company consistently for years through my job and recently had the pleasure of hiring them for my new house. We were being invaded with black widows and wasps, which are my two no-nos for areas that my pets frequent. I called Blake and he was able to squeeze me in with one of his techs within a couple of days. They don't offer a clean up service that I'm aware of but I believe their pricing is fair and it is always guaranteed. read more

can't seem to get the job done right. came out a few time. finally they were going to do a full extermination and after calling to see what time they were gonna be out was told they weren't gonna be able to come out because of people calling in. Meanwhile, everything was packed and moved out of the way for the job when asked. When they were be able to do it or how soon they said there was no reason to be irate. Then proceeded to say never mind. They just weren't gonna do it. business ethics, not professional at can't get the job done when they do do it we did asked us to do. Doesn't seem like their workers are proficient in their jobs or abilities. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

My husband and I moved to Reno from Lake Tahoe almost two years ago. When our beautiful new home was invaded by ants, we called Frontier after being referred by a friend. They responded immediately and were here the next day. Blake and Trent listened to our concerns and immediately went to work treating the perimeter and beneath the house for ants, and spiders which were also a concern. My apartment manager hired them to treat bed bugs in my apartment last year. He completely trashed my apartment but did a poor job, didn't even come close to getting rid of the bugs. Last week management hired them again. He did a poor job, and reported to apt manager that I hadn't "prepped" the apartment properly so he couldn't get rid of the bugs. I am disabled and cannot move furniture. There are almost as many bugs as there were before. He did a crappy job and blamed me. If you have bed bugs, call someone else. read more

We have had a terrible case of ants. We have attempted to treat them ourselves, and had a few other companies come out and spray. Nothing worked! We ended up reaching out to a new company, Frontier Pest Control, told them what was going on and 2 days later, they were at our house to spray! We are three weeks out now and have not seen one ant! They ended up being the nicest company we worked with, as well as the cheapest!! Highly, HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

We recently had a new pest control company come to do an inspection of our house to see why, after two years of having Frontier come in and do regular service for mice, we still had a severe problem under our house. The results were quite frankly appalling. We had a lot of mouse activity down there that included some damage to our ducting and the only bait strips and bait was found within 6 ft of our crawl space door that goes down under the house. The new pest control guy spent almost two hours down there and found two very obvious places where the mice were coming in. These could have been found and addressed two years ago if they had done a more complete inspection. He also found a leak that had been going on for about 6 months (according to our plumber) that was never found by Frontier. Our bait traps outside were all empty as well. Overall, we had been wasting our money for all that time on an inadequate, very lazy pest control service. They have been fired. read more

I had a great experience with this company! I would definitely recommend them, as well as, use them in the future if needed. Trent was very knowledgeable and did a great job educating us about the pest problem and had great advice on how to prevent their return in the future. We had used another company to take care of our pest problem before using this company, and sadly the problem wasn't taken care of and the technician wasn't knowledgeable about the pest nor the product he was using to treat the problem. I Am having a mice & ant problems. I had used another company with an astronomical annual fee & which was unprofessional & ineffective. Blake from Frontier came out & assessed the situation. He implemented a dry powder treatment on the ants which made an immediate difference. No annual fee; you pay for the service you get. He called 3 days after he treated for ants to determine impact.
