I stopped here with my family while shopping around downtown. Love this place! I got a Baileys Latte and my daughter got a blueberry muffin. The latte was delicious and the muffin too.. not too sweet which I liked (so my daughter wouldn't be bouncing off the wall after). The decor was nice and the seats are near big windows for good natural light and you can see downtown. Really great place! I've been here a few times over the last four years and every time I go they have more and more delicious stuff. The quality of their chais and coffee drinks continues to impress. My fiancee got a maple latte that he had low hopes for (he is quite picky about his coffee drinks) but it impressed him. He felt it tasted like maple without that overly sugary feeling in his mouth, indicating poor quality flavored syrups and/or excess sugar. The chai latte was very good, and they have a host of items for not just those that need/want to eat gluten-free, but for the paleo peeps out there! Pretty sweet, right? And the service is always friendly, if not a little flaky. It's ok - product is good and the peeps are chill. P.S. They also offer alcoholic coffee drinks which must be consumed on premises. We came up to NH for a little getaway. I really enjoy checking out other coffee shops. This place has GREAT tasting coffee and pastries. But what really attracted me to this place was the owner's responses to the customers upset about their safety precautions and limited menu during a pandemic. My boyfriend and I joke and call it the Clap Back Cafe. Not to mention the Black Lives Matters sign in the window. Way to make everyone feel accepted in your place of business! Kudos! Coffee geeks: this is your place to go in the northern NH area. We've been to the other shops in the area, and while their environment and setting is nice (prob their food and breakfast sandwiches too), this review is strictly for the coffee and it's definitely the best around the area. Flavorful, creamy espressos and well roasted beans. I'm not talking about "lattes" or fluffy drinks loaded with sure, but the pure black stuff as it stands (in which I feel most people who love coffee places and leave high reviews are sometimes the chocolate iced mocha drinkers who appreciate the sugar Moreso than the pure flavor of the bean). This place, definitely *not* that standard old diner coffee. They care about their beans here. AND they have some cool gluten free and paleo pastries if you're into that. The perfect little coffee shop to start your day in North Conway. The fresh brewed ice tea is great, and I love that they even have liquid sweetener available. The best thing about this place is the ice cubes when you order an iced coffee. They actually make the ice cubes out of coffee, so as they melt they don't dilute your drink. I cannot believe more places don't do this! They have sandwiches and a small bakery case. I'd like to say everything is all natural, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I do know that they have some vegan options (I saw muffins and a couple other things). Staff is great, they don't have that snobby factor that you can get at other coffee shops. The best little coffee shop I've encountered in many years. Decor is casual and eclectic, and the baristas are very friendly and laid back, but they take their coffee service and quality very seriously. The blueberry muffins are also fantastic! We were in North Conway on vacation, and as typically happens, the real world of "work" butted in and required me to spend a couple days and several hours working via their wifi to get some things done. The staff was very gracious, even letting me stay after they closed at 6:00pm as they were cleaning up, giving me an additional 30 minutes to finish up. How many places would let you do that? My bf and I were camping in the White Mountains and it was raining in the morning, so we decided to go into town for some breakfast and coffee. We decided on Frontside because they serve sandwiches too. We decided on the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich, a chai latte, and regular latte. Price was very reasonable and the sandwich was very good. I'm not a big sausage fan because of the strong smell, but for this one, I couldn't smell it. I would've easily been able to finish one of those myself. Our cashier was polite and efficient. We got our sandwich pretty fast and our drinks as well. We were there at around 9:30 am and, apparently, had barely beaten the crowd. I would definitely come here again if I'm in North Conway in the future. read more

I have been to this place four times now and never disappointed. there biscuit breakfast sandwich is the best I have ever had. I was there yesterday morning and bought two. One to eat right then and the other came all the way home to midcoast Maine with me and I ate it for breakfast this morning. Also there Peach Iced Tea is amazing! I work just down the street from this place and come here pretty much every day on my lunch break. The coffee is delicious and the staff are always so pleasant. It doesn't matter if it's the middle of a rush or I'm the only one in the place, the service and quality of goods never falters. The mocha latte is my personal favorite and it's nearly impossible to say no to their pastry case whether it's apple cider donut bread or a homemade poptart, everything is delicious. read more

Boy they get it all right at the Frontside Grind. We stopped by on a rainy day with daughter in tow, on our way to the Children's Museum. There was plenty of great seating options including a cozy couch we sat on. The drinks we ordered were tasty - I had a latte while my wife ordered a chai - both were high quality. I ordered a double espresso over ice. Nowhere on the posted prices did it indicate that they charge extra for over ice. I have ordered this in many establishments and have never been charged extra. Rather than $2.50 I was charged $3.75. The coffee was bitter as well. read more

Frontside was pretty neat. It is tucked away between the Eastern Slopes Inn and the Flatbread Co. I have tried to go there a few times before but I think they close at 6, forcing my to go the Met. I had a non fat latte. It was good, but the best part was the latte art or attempted latte art...definitely points for that if it was intended. This coffee shop is fantastic! A local from Bartlett, NH told me about it and we stopped by in the morning a few weeks ago. They filled up his personal mug! I was already super caffeinated so just went in to check out the place. Recently, needed some cuppa to travel the 120 miles from Conway to Nashua for work the next day. Stopped by and got the Iced Coffee - awesome! Its nice to have an Iced Coffee in my own personal big cup and spend like half the price of Starbucks for excellent quality. They of course roast their own coffee here and you can buy bags to go. They also have free wifi and its a really laid back atmosphere to work on the laptop. Another tip - this is the place where the local guides and other outdoor crazies hang out in the morning. If you are looking for company, go check here in the early AM. Oh yeah, I also told them I dont use milk and they filled up the coffee to the top - sweet! read more

Their coffee was incredible. My husband and I came here all 4 days of our stay in New Hampshire and we were not disappointed. Their prices were a little high and they only offered a handful of flavorings (which is understandable for a smaller coffee shop in a smaller town) but their coffee was definitely worth the cost. read more

Loved their bagels. Clearly well made with just the right amount of bite in them for my taste. My wife thought they were a bit too chewy but bagels are an extremely subjective item and these reminded me of fresh city bagels.
