Their location is great, and the staff is nice. But the food and drink is pretty lackluster. The cold brew was just regular coffee chilled, and then poured over ice. My wife's Quiche was not good at all. We threw it out after a few bites, and the muffin wasn't anything special. We left and went across the street to get something to eat and drink. read more

This coffee shop is located near the Scenic Railroad, so we stopped in for a coffee. It's a cute coffeehouse with good drinks and some grab and go eats. It's been open for 15 years and they have another location in the Settler's Green. They also have one in Maine. They have breakfast and lunch food. Tables can be found inside and outside. The coffee was delicious and service was good. I love the decor, they had some wall art up. It's walking distance to many amenities. If you're a coffee lover, I definitely recommend. read more

Over the last ten years or so, the Met has become my go-to place when visiting the Conway area. It is a solid quality place, the staff is attentive and helpful, there's invariably plenty of seating, a friendly ambiance, and it has the coffee house vibe that is so absent in many of the corporate venues. Entering the Met, a few seats are available in the foyer area, right where the counter is. The coffee menu is overhead on top of the counter, but the sandwich menu is at the entrance. To the joy of us, lactose intolerant people, they have every conceivable dairy alternative. Their coffee is good and strong. The sandwiches menu is varied and abundant. I had a capresse with chicken and it was enough for two people. My spouse had a huge turkey sandwich that he couldn't finish and he had it for lunch the next day. Plenty of outside seating, plenty of parking. A wonderful place for people watching, eating before the train, or a respite from shopping. First rate place. read more

Great as a coffeeHOUSE and boy is this place homey what with the local art both painted and printed, framed and hung on the walls, free WiFi and homemade tasting, slightly burnt iced coffee. Plus chairs, stools, tables, leather chairs (in which I sit), views of mountains and perhaps a throne or two. But, it must be said, that iced coffee was a FREE REFILL (which they do for hot and iced coffees) for a different drink, and that different drink was a chocolate-hazelnut iced coffee, which was not what I expected, i.e. a 5 calorie iced coffee, but instead a syrupy, heavily flavored dessert drink with which I broke my fast far harder than I had meant to. Had I known this drink was not seasoned beans turnt to a delectable cup, I might have passed on it, and had I not felt the desire to rejoin my company, I would have asked for the heaviest of heavy creams to make it a straight milk shake, but I drank it as was and enjoyed it every sip. The flavor was good to great, the texture more than I wanted but curious as a Campbell I couldn't just get the nitro-brew I craved because there was a hazelnut-coffee concoction I had never had heard of let alone tried and probably, along with the refill has more get up and go than the nitro solo. But I been here for hours now and don't feel like leaving yet, and that the baristae refilled my cup with coffee whilst allowing me to avoid the line (which isn't cutting. Justification: The line is only for people who still need to pay) really bumps that service up to magnificent. Neat and quirky coffee shop, centrally located in North Conway! My brother and SIL are big fans of this spot every time they go up and we did also enjoy it. The bagel breakfast sandwich was solid, but I think I'm too much of a bagel snob to get it again. Enjoyed my ice latte, just be sure to get things 1/2 sweet if you don't want it to be a sugar overload. The staff is very friendly and they get through the line quickly. read more

This has to be my favorite café I've been to. The iced lattes are very delicious which convinced me to come back again before I left the area. They have seasonal drinks and foods. Only down side is the drinks are very expensive with a large iced latte coming out to around $10. The Cinnamon Dolce latte was splendid. The roast was perfect. Their sandwiches are great and their muffins look appealing too. There's a sitting area on the top floor that's decorated with all local art work. I would not expect a coffeehouse in the heart of a major tourist destination to have either great coffee or great food let alone both. The Met does! Some of the sweet drinks are a little too sweet, but their coffee offerings are top notch. North Conway is not known for great food, but The Met is an exception. Both their "Lavash" offerings (upscale pizzas) and their sandwiches are worth waiting in line for! Friendly staff which is impressive given the long lines of cranky tourists! read more

We didn't want to eat too much since we had dinner plans, so we ended up splitting the Bourbon Whiskey Chicken Sandwich. I also ordered a small Cardamon Cinnamon Tea with oat milk. We love going to the Met for their coffee and tea selection. They have a variety of freshly made options. They also have food items which I am not as big of a fan of. There are several other places in the area with better options, however there sandwiches are good in a pinch. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Inside they have a little secluded back room with a fireplace. I didn't even know it existed until I had visited several times. Me and my sister had gone to the met a couple times on our visit to New Hampshire. During the first visit the service was not great. The gentleman taking our order seemed in a daze or just unhappy to be there. The drinks themselves were alright but the coffee is not true coffee. The second time we came to look around at the more gallery aspect of the place. While i was walking around i had accidentally dropped my drink. I rushed to get paper towels to quickly clean up. Two workers had saw what happened and even made eye contact with me. No help was given. There was one person in line so it wasn't busy either. Im not the type of person to expect one on one customer service but me and my sister both agreed that we felt unwelcome and were taken aback by the lack of enthusiasm and service. read more

My favorite coffee shop of all time- if I lived in the area I would be a regular! We come to The Met 2 to 4 times every vacation. The staff are amazing and service is fast. Food does take between 10-20 minutes usually. Drinks are done in under 5. During busy times in town (weekends and holidays) this shop can get really busy but worth it! I liked to go during quiet times and get a drink then read a book. There's a few different areas to sit and relax. It makes for a good place for a date, quick lunch, or even to get some work done. My favorite sandwich is the Thanksgiving sandwich- tastes just like Thanksgiving day! Lots of different types of drinks including coffee, lattes, Italian sodas, apple cider, lotus drinks and more!
