Great coffee shop! Open early and had wonderful tea and bagel options! Will be going back!

We had a cheicken slad wrap here and it was the worst sandwich ever. The sandwich had only lectuce with it (no tomato) and no chips or pickle either. The chicken slad had no taste to it and the wrap was stale. The counter girls had a real bad issue with dealing with the public. This is the last place to eat in north conway and if were the only place to eat jump in the car and drive an hour. The drive will be well worth it. The wrap is also way over priced for a small portion, both myself and wife left totally hungry. read more

Since my unfavorable experience at Frontside, I've been a customer on enough occasions to alter my original evaluation. On subsequent visits, customer service was good and efficient. However, I was not waiting in a line nor was I ordering any food that needed preparation. I did order coffee "to go" along with a muffin. This rating is based solely on the barista. My family and I make an annual pilgrimage to North Conway and I first had coffee here last year(2015). I sort of remember it being OK but I had a nagging memory of a less than stellar experience. On returning today I realized that the problem is some guy who works there (I suspect the owner or manger) who is such a killjoy. The register person was nice and helped me with my order and gave great suggestions. Decided to try the maple latte (which was great). Ordered my two drinks with skim milk. The guy making the drinks put one up on the bar that I believed was mine. I picked it up to check and was chastised with him saying none of the drinks up were mine. I apologized and sat by as all the drinks except the one I picked up were claimed. Then the second of my drinks came up so that now there were only two drinks up. When I checked again, he was barely able to acknowledge that the drink I asked about was indeed mine. Then, when I asked about the milk since they didn't seem to be nonfat, he shot a scowl at me while interrogating me as to whether I had ordered them nonfat. I had, and even if I hadn't, it would seem a wise business idea to create the proper drink simply for building a good customer service reputation. We stumbled into Frontside Coffee Roasters on our way through North Conway. We grabbed a cup of decaf coffee for our morning coffee. The coffee was strong with bold flavor but a very smooth finish that made for a perfect cup of coffee. There were no elements of bitterness or off flavors. We loved this place so much that we went back mid afternoon and got their bagels and signature Maple Lattes. The latte was just the right temperature to start enjoying right away. It was only mildly sweet thanks to the local maple syrup. The latte had the right balance of sweetness, coffee, and milk. In all it was delicious and if I am ever back in North Conway will definitely be stopping here! read more

Excellent coffee, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods. I was drinking 2 of their cold brewed iced coffees a day when I was in the North Conway area for vacation. There is usually a line out the door in the morning but it tends to move quickly. read more

Finally tried their coffee this morning and it's gooooood! The place itself is really cool and the coffee is strong.

Great place to get coffee and a snack or even lunch. The food menu is limited, but it's a cafe not a restaurant. Great baked good from local bakeries. The chicken salad wraps are good. They also offer beer. The young staff is always friendly, even though they are often busy. The absolute best thing about Frontside is the outdoor seating, which is a rarity in North Conway. On a warm, sunny day, there are lots of people outside. Great place to people watch and relax. There is limited parking out back, but you can usually find a spot someplace closeby. Many cyclists (like me) stop there mid ride for a caffeine energy boost. read more

Egg sandwich on a bagel was okay, but wow, best iced coffee ever. The fog lifter (shot of espresso) iced coffee is amazing.

The coffee is delicious and tastes freshly roasted. The baristas are incredible knowledgable about roasting technique, style, flavor and coffee regions. You can't get much better than that with a coffee shop. And they have nice places to sit, sunny and friendly. Good for people watching! All around awesome. read more

Since they moved to the center of town, we started going occasionally for lunch - always loved the atmosphere and you can get a beer and sit outside. I prefer the Good Vibes Coffee served at the Met, but due to dramatic downturn in service and attitude at the Met, I'm finally joining what seems to be most locals at Frontside. read more

Transformative - My daugther and I rolled into North Conway to do some climbing and hiking. Actually, the only reason we walked into Frontside was that she needed to use a bathroom. Feeling guilty, I ordered a small latte. The Frontside latte was the richest, most intense and creamiest latte I have ever had, really a surprise! We stopped here early on a Saturday morning. Nice outdoor seating but it took 35 minutes to get our order of 2 bagels and 2 egg sandwiches. That's after being told our order would take 5 minutes. We would have gone somewhere else if they had been up front about the wait. I think the food was ok but won't be back because of the terrible service. read more

I have been going to frontside for years they are the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The coffee is great, either served there or take a pound home to brew. The folks are friendly and efficient. The owners Laura and Austin are great people . The treats are always fresh and are made to order.
