Best dispensary ever! I've been to so many around and when we saw Diego Pellicer in the Westword I couldn't pass on the prices. Once I arrived I figured it's a small whole in the wall but I was extremely wrong it's a beautiful facility and everyone is SOOOOOOOO nice and o formative. I hetbso caught up talking to a wonderful girl and we accidentally mix ups the wax I wanted from what she gave me no biggie right no ones fault I go back for a shot at returning it the very next morning hoping right (fingers crossed) I walk on and check in and plead my case he says I don't think they can exchange it but let's see I walk back and a lovely budtender comes over I'm with my sister she needs wax too as she's ordering I explain the situation and she's like sure we can take care of it I think score that was so nice of her we head to checlnout and she starts with my exchange I hand her the wax o was accidentally given and she tells me no they can't take it back but we're going to give me what I wanted I was so impressed she wasn't rude she was appologetic when it wasn't even anyone's fault but fun conversations between her and her employee that I forgot what I wanted sonif anything it was my fault but she honored it anyway I was so impressed I've told everyone I know that smoke about this place as hands down it's the best!!! I spent a good half an hour online trying to find the best dispensary in Denver. I was looking for a solid bargain for a short term supply of icky wicky, and even though it was another half an hour to get there from where I live, Diego Pellicer's menu had even sober me convinced to make the drive. Let me tell you, my experience with these people's service made it well worth it. I got all the way to 2949 W Alameda Ave, masked up, walked in, and showed the receptionist my license. My license I just renewed yesterday, not my new temporary license (sry guv). I freaked out at myself for a sec, and the guy was totally polite and understanding, but he wasted no time affirming my fear that I'd have to come back with my valid license. I had no complaints for him though, because that demonstrates this business is law compliant and legit. When I finally got back with my proper license, the receptionist totally cheered me up, and the finale was even better. My pre-order was ready and the pre-order line was 0 people long. The budtender even let me adjust my order, and he gave me his honest opinion when I asked him if pre-rolls are worth buying. I do not regret taking him up on his recommendations in this case. I have been to many dispensaries in LA, Vegas, and Denver and my experience at Diego Pellicer tops them all. The store is stunning, well-organized and the staff lets you open vessels of the flower to fill your nostrils with some spectacular smells - any you can do this without direct supervision or someone standing right on top of you. My budtender Brittany was experienced, friendly and knowledgable. It's shocking how many budtenders still don't understand the process of extraction and how distillates in edibles are very different from the full spectrum cannabinoids found in flower. Brittany was very knowable about all the various products and brands and was able to make clear recommendations between multiple offerings. I was pulling into the parking lot when one of the entitled racist workers of Diego pellicer seen me pulling into a parking spot and he immediately came slammed his gas and nearly caused a accident. Then when I was recording the workers red Mustang with the license plate of "WQU-946" and then he nearly rammed his car into the back of mine because he all the sudden has the urge to reverse. Please deal with the self entitled white supremacist assholes you employ. I know he is an employee because he peeked his mug out the window as my partner was recording. They do not mind discriminating against the sick, failing to take legal license extensions, demanding documents that literally don't exist and aren't legal to require and the assistant manager is happy to gaslight you loudly by walkie talkie rather than do the work to realize he's both wrong and being interpersonally violent about it. read more
