Shoutout to this place for redefining frozen yogurt by removing the frozen part entirely. Ordered blue raspberry froyo and received what can only be described as radioactive blue juice. I wanted to love it, but I just didn't. I liked the concept, but the actual experience was a bit unsatisfactory for a variety of reasons. I stopped in here last weekend for the first time ever. I was really looking forward to it, but something about the place just seemed off. Maybe it was the somewhat off-putting teenagers behind the counter who were texting, maybe it was the "do it yourself" concept, basically an Old Country Buffet type of place for frozen yogurt, or maybe it was the debris left on two random tables that hadn't been cleaned off yet. I don't know. At any rate, I was completely willing to give it a shot, despite my initial misgivings. As I said, the concept is entirely self-serve. You pick out the type of container you want, flavors, toppings, etc and take it up to the counter, where they weigh it. The price is factored in solely by weight. I'm not really sure how I feel about that, but anyway, it's how they do it. It apparently has nothing to do with the choices/number of toppings or flavors, just the weight of the contents. After paying, I found a table and dug in, really looking forward to some tasty frozen yogurt. What I got was kind of hit or miss and it had nothing to do with the combination of flavors I chose and how they complimented each other (or didn't) with the toppings. Nope. To me, most of the flavors tasted somewhat artificial and not at all authentic. Between my husband and myself, I had managed to try at least five different frozen yogurt flavors. The sea salt caramel pretzel tasted nothing like it should. It was pretty flat and boring, without even a hint of caramel. Where was the caramel? Where was the sea salt? Heck, where was the pretzel flavor? I definitely do not know. The cake pop yogurt was okay, a little flat, but otherwise quite middle of the road, but the espresso tasted very little like real espresso or any coffee-flavored frozen yogurt that I've had before. It didn't resemble a coffee flavor in any way. It just wasn't particularly good. The tahitian vanilla was great and was the one flavor that tasted pretty much like what it should. I wish my dish had more of that and less of the other flavors. I would have been happier, that's for certain, but that's on me. As for the white chocolate mousse, it didn't strike me much as white chocolate, but it was fine, it just didn't taste like white chocolate. I just so happen to love white chocolate and even devoted an entire layer of my wedding cake to the flavor, but this didn't really fulfill my yen for white chocolate mousse. Like I said, it was fine, but a little inauthentic. Now, onto the toppings bar. Well, they had a great variety of both dry and fruit toppings, as well as flavored syrups and whip creme, but the dry toppings seemed kinda stale. Maybe they were left in their dispensers too long or they've gone stale because of oxidation? I'm not sure, but the dry toppings were a bit of a letdown. I should have gone with more fruit toppings instead. As for the price, it's a little on the high side for what you're getting. I mean, the flavors didn't wow me and most of them tasted eerily similar to each other. I expected a little more from this location. At any rate, my husband liked the place enough to sign up for a rewards card, so I'm sure I'll give it another chance. Next time, I'll stick to the fruit toppings and limit my yogurt flavor choices to probably the tahitian vanilla. read more

When we go to this place, we spend between $30-$50 per visit because we have four kids and sometimes bring grandma. EVERY SINGLE TIME we go we are told that next time we get a free yogurt with our phone number entered and EVERY SINGLE TIME we return we are told that again but no free one, next tune and yes it's the same phone number. It's a huge amount of money to go here rather than Ziggys where it's $15 tops and just as good, so this is really infuriating. If you guys really aren't going to give a free one by giving up your phone number than just say so. read more

First of all, love the concept! 15 or so flavors on a self serve wall with enough low fat, core flavor and 'out there' options to satisy every palette. Add to that a wall of dispensers for about a doxen dry toppings , a (chocolate chips, sprinkles, m&m's, reese's pieces, etc and a seperate fixings bar with fruits, chopped candies, bursts, and hot fudge and caramel. Not a place for the indecisive, but there are free sample cups for taste testing the base for your creation. New, clean, and busy each of the three times I have been there so far, but well stocked and run efficiently. You pay by the ounce though for the yogurt and everthing you pile on top of it. Average price of a cup full of goodness has been $5-6 bucks, but then I am not at all modest when it comes to frozen creamy goodness. A bit of a challenge to find though, as it is tucked behind the B-Dubs in front of NCG Cinemas and there is no street signage. Parking is limited to the end of the side B-dubs lot, but I expect that to change with the additonal construction taking place within the complex. Give it a go while the weather is still warm; there is inside seating and outside standing tables are an option as well. read more

Very watery frozen mix (tasted 5 different flavors) and extremely high priced for the end product. If you crave Chinese buffet ice cream, this is your place. Well, except that it costs the same price but doesn't come with any of the Chinese food. Either make the product worth the price or the price worth the product. It gets two stars only for having a large selection of toppings (which are on par with most other ice cream shops). read more

I have been to Froyo Nation several times and love it! The flavor and topping selections are great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and everything is kept very clean! You pay by the ounce so the cost can add up but that is not unlike other froyo self-serve places. Froyo Nation is a unique concept for our area and I have enjoyed my creations every time I have been there. Where are the Mochi balls? This huge tiny city finally got their first FROZEN YOGURT shop. I wish they had more sweet and creamy flavors aside from the standard vanilla and chocolate. They are a little more expensive than I'm used to, but where I'm from "froyo" is as big as Starbucks or McDonalds (every block covered). I do expect them to have Mochi balls on my next visit. read more

I love this place!! It's amazing! They have about 10 flavors and then the mix of each pair! They have soooooo many toppings. The staff is always friendly. Everything about this place is colorful. We've been coming since we moved to the area , and it makes a great snack after dinner (bagger Dave's and B-dubs next door) or after a movies (trillium theaters across the parking lot). I also live the dividers, you can have multiple flavors with no mixing or melting together!! I absolutely recommend this place! read more

This place is located conveniently off of I-75 near Buffalo Wild Wings, Bagger Dave's, and NCG Trillium Theatre. It is easy to find and has a great variety of yogurt and assortment of toppings. The employees are extremely friendly. You can even sample all of the yogurt before you make your final decision. As far as portions, you are able to pick how much yogurt and which toppings you would like in your cup. This is a great place to visit in the cold of winter or on a hot summer day.
