I didn't get to connect with her directly, however Jr. texted my SO, Thursday night and called Friday morning to confirm he would come by to take the measurements for the garage door motor replacement. Also Kylie called me Friday evening to confirm the details someone would be by to fix the garage around 9am 12/23. Then Beth called my SO directly, since she did not have my number on file to confirm the same details on Saturday. As promised, Jr. arrived ~9:30am with an associate and they worked diligently for ~3 hours replacing the old motor with the new one, which works much better than our old one. He gave me a call at 12:39pm to let me know he was done and I told him I could come by to review the updates. Everything looks like it's working well and he walked me through the mechanisms of the new garage motor set. I'm hoping that our experience with the confusion and lack of communication was a one off instance; since once we got the attention of others within FRS, it really helped expedite the project from limbo to resolution. Jr. also commented on the ladders and soffit supplies leftover against our garage wondering if it was ours. He checked the roof work to confirm the soffit vents were also completely installed. So I'm unsure if the delay of wrapping up our project was due to them researching our garage door issue, weather, other projects scheduled, and/or something else. I emailed Helton and he responded immediately that he can come by tomorrow to perform the final walkthrough per the contract to wrap up our roofing project. Honestly, the main reason we chose this business originally was because they offered a 10 year workmanship warranty compared to another newer business that only offered 1 year even though the FRS price was significantly more expensive. Here's to hoping that they will be as responsive if anything else roof related comes up over the next decade. We had FRS completely replace the roof of a 3 family in Dorchester. Initially our roof was inspected by our insurance company and their contractor for a leak. We had FRS come out to give a second opinion, which indicated more extensive damage than the insurance company concluded. FRS worked with the insurance company and used thermal cameras to highlight additional water damage throughout the roof, which results in the insurance company fully covering the roof repair. When working with FRS, they were professional and responsive. Jordan was our inspector and he was on time, responsive and prompt. He took an initial video of the inspection and talked us through what he was seeing. The quote for the work was fair and the work was done without issue. The only challenge was some delay in the initial install due to material supply chain issues, which FRS communicated to us to keep us aware. Overall would highly recommend FRS for any roofing issues you have. read more

Don't call these people for work .. they messed up a lot of things at my mothers house.. they broke my doorbell, the motion light outside keeps triggering the breaker, they cut the Verizon cable wire.. they threw my satellite dish in the trash with out my authorization.. they never bolted the main power wire coming from the street pole to the house when they put the new sidings.. i called the manager Phil and spoke with him about a month ago and he said going to sent somebody next week to fix them it's been 5 weeks now and nobody came .. there are ridiculous the job they done is sloppy nothing straight.. I would highly recommend this company. When we requested an estimate, the sales person was prompt and put booties on his shoes so he wouldn't get dirt on our floors . He explained everything to us and gave us a reasonable estimate and explained the process to us and had very good shingles. He came when the staff came to remove and install a new roof all in one day! They did a great job of getting the shingles off with as little mess as possible and then put up all the underlayments and then shingles. They constantly cleaned as they went along. A racoon found a hole in my roof and made it largerm crawled through it and ate my daughtes chocolates. Once the chocolates were gone, so was he. Unfortunately, the hole was still there and we were approaching rain season in New England. FRS came out accessed the damage and kindly expedited the repair to avoid more racoons and a flood in attic. They were professional and met all my expectations! read more

Reading the other reviews I'm a bit horrified and thinking about going up and checking by myself, though the roof is pretty steep so I rather live... but we had overall great experience. Quick appointment, believable explanations and the price seemed to be right (we didn't bring anyone else to quote, so cannot state if for 100%). The roof itself seemed to be reasonable, but then we added the chimney cap and that was quoted at $1500 and then lowered to $1200. Is that the right price - I do not know, but since they were already on the roof I assumed asking them is easier than looking for new contractor. The dumpster was left couple of days over - which made our life a bit difficult since it was taking our drive-way, but it was promptly removed upon request. Honestly - I'm very happy with the job and I think I will call them again if I had another roof. One more thing - read very carefully the financing agreement if you financing. I read it and we decided to opt out of it and just pay by credit card. Pretty scary. read more

Steer clear of FRS roofing. I hired them to do exterior caulking on my home around the windows. They are very expensive and require 1/3 payment up front. When they finally sent someone out to my home, the work was absolutely terrible. I've attached several photos of their work, but every one of my windows now looks like this. They smeared caulking around like a toddler with fingerpaints. When I contacted the project manager I was told they would come out, remove all the caulking and redo the work. What they actually did was buy some mismatched brown paint and try to cover up the sloppy work. I tried twice to get them to come back and fix the work, but each time it just gets worse. Now I have brand new windows with globs of caulking smeared around on them and brown paint on top of that. It's aweful. Please, learn from my mistake. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! read more
