WARNING: if you plan to spend your hard earned money with FRSR, LLC from Erie Colorado, think twice. We invested $11,000.00 with them late last year for a patio extension with stamped concrete. We originally thought a Trex deck was the way to go but when the salesperson showed us photos of stamped concrete patios we decided to go with stamped concrete. Well our finished patio does not resemble any of the photos. When we complained to the salesperson all we got was an apology. We contacted the owner by email and phone on numerous occasions but he has ignored our request for an onsite meeting to review the project. read more

Was about to start a project with pave stones but when I read the contract they excluded everything we discussed; settling of the pave stones; if any of the plants were to die they wouldn't replace any of them; no matter the time frame. They told me all of this was covered until I got the contract; shady people! Make sure you read what they put in their contract; because they will tell you everything you want to hear to get your money but once that huge contract comes to play; they will screw you! One star is a very high rating for these guys. We hired them to refinish our deck prior to our daughter's wedding. Hired in April to do the work in May for the wedding in July. they showed up 3 days before the wedding. They didn't finish the job, used shoddy materials, splattered and dripped large puddles of stain on the patio below, didn't clean up their sanding debris. I called the owner and manager several times. They do not return calls. They promised they would be out to finish several times and never showed up. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would rather spend a month at the DMV than work with them again. BEWARE! read more

Be careful-you have been warned. I should have looked at the Yelp page before I dealt with this unbelievably inept company. All of these reviews warn about using this company. I got a mass mailer post card in the mail and called them. Matt came out and gave me 2 estimates and a date to come out and go over them. I responded that day and said "okay sounds good". He never showed up and I emailed again. After 4 phone calls to the company over 2 months, he sent me an email that said I never responded, and that they are booked up for the next 6 months. I showed him, and the owner Eric, that I responded, and they never even replied to my calls or emails. Do not waste your time with these unprofessionals. There is a reason they have a 1 star rating on here. I would give them zero stars if I could. And they say they are booked up for the next 6 months anyway, so definitely no need to call them. Unfortunately, I am changing my rating of this company as although everything seemed great in the beginning, I ended up fighting with these people for months with regards to repairs and replacements. First, the shrubbery kept dying even after they replaced several bushes. Second, the drainage from the sprinkler system was not maintained and caused a back up daily. Lastly, the deck began to sink considerably. In reference to the dying shrubbery, after many calls and being accused of "overwatering", I was getting no where and even was told by them that they were not going to keep replacing the bushes and would evaluate the situation at the end of the season. What a joke, they never did. (I have all the emails to prove this as well). What happened in reality, after getting someone else to take a look at things, was that when they planted and replanted the shrubs, they did not dig the hole large enough causing the water to sit literally in the small space without draining causing the plants to drown. Part of this was also due to the fact they did not maintain the proper drainage in the yard, which is something that the HOA requires. They did finally come out to fix the deck that was sinking after several calls. This season as I went to turn the irrigation system on that they installed, I was met with multiple problems. I had someone come out and make the necessary repairs; however, as he explained, the sprinkler heads were incorrectly installed as well as faulty connections causing multiple leaks. I had all of this repaired by professionals....not by the unprofessional folks at FRSR. While I stated in the beginning at how happy I was, I guess I should have waited. After spending over $20k on this project with FRSR, o would have expected quality work that lasts. Instead I got sub par work that did not last a while seasons and cost more money to repair. I would not recommend these people as they do not stand behind their work at all and ALWAYS try to blame the customer for their inefficiencies. I used FRSR for landscaping and didn't have a great experience. They kept delaying the start date, and when they finally did begin the job they didn't show up day 2. There was no communication at all. Part of the sod and a few plants are dead and Adam won't return my calls, even though he said at the time he would include an extended warranty. I have more landscaping to do, but won't use this company again. read more

Absolutely the worst company I have ever contracted with. I hired FRSR to lay a portion of my patio with stamped and stained concrete, as well as building a brick wall around one edge of the patio. The wall included 2 openings for stairs down to my yard. These walls were not even close to lining up straight - looks awful. In addition, the sealer that FRSR put over my entire patio was flaking off after 6 months. I contacted FRSR within my 1 year warranty period to fix the sealer. After an additional 8 months of trying to get FRSR to honor their warranty, I gave up in frustration. I would never recommend or do business with FRSR again. They installed a portion of my composite decking incorrectly and it tore in 6 places. I contacted them July 25 2017 and asked them to honor their warranty and make the repairs. To date they never contacted me or made the repairs. I paid someone else to clean up their mess. Well I'm happy to update my last review with a more positive one. One of the trees planted during the landscaping developed a lean so I contacted FRSR and asked if they could rectify the situation under warrantee. Despite a snippy email back from the owner, they did in fact come within 2 days and stake the tree up as well as make sure the other plants were still viable. This was a very pleasant surprise given my previous interactions but I am happy that my tree will not fall over and it was taken care of. read more

FRSR's philosophy on their website says they are reliable and "strive to provide timely and accurate service the first time". Well I wouldn't actually know if their work is any good because they left us waiting for them to show up for a consultation for 2 hours! After 30 minutes past our appointment with no call/no show we called the office line and spoke to a "customer service" rep who said he would get ahold of Adam Walker who was supposed to come out and give us a quote. After still no communication an hour past our appointment time we called again. The service rep told us the only way to get ahold of Adam was to page him, which he said he would and then have him call us back. Almost 3 hours past our appointment time no one ever came out or called us back. It's pretty unprofessional when you have an appointment that other people schedule around and you don't show up or even call the homeowner back. However after looking at these reviews it looks like we REALLY dodged a bullet not working with these guys! read more

Strongly recommend against using this company. We hired the company to do a significant landscaping project including laying sod, planting shrubs and trees, flagstone path, and raised beds. They provided an estimate in a reasonable amount of time and the estimate was comparable to other companies. We were given a start date in mid-May. On May 17 (the originally contracted start date) we were told that the work would begin "the beginning of next week." I e-mailed on June 6 and June 8 for an update as no work had been done. On June 8, I was told "next week." I heard nothing again and on June 16 e-mailed requesting another update. After threatening to void the contract because of the delay which was not reasonable, they finally began work on June 20. The weather this year was better than average, so they apparently account for near perfect weather despite working in Colorado. Certainly don't count on any date that they give you. Next, they had drawn and measured a plan for us that included planter boxes and space to walk to an area where we are building a shed. When they built our planter boxes, they left far less space than indicated on the plan. When questioned about this, they reported that they had followed the plan but, "The planters were placed per the plan, but it appears Matt some how has more room between the fence post and planter." In other words, they measured wrong, but felt that it was still somehow according to the plan that they'd measured. After a significant amount of back and forth where they denied responsibility, they did eventually move the planter boxes, though the amount of space left is still about half of what was shown on the mis-measured plan. As part of the work, they installed and moved irrigation components. After laying the sod and finishing the irrigation, they left the sprinklers in the off position. I was unable to adjust the sprinklers for several days, so unsurprisingly the sod quickly browned. It took a lot of water ($250 water bill) to resuscitate the sod. It seems like a bad practice to leave a newly installed irrigation system off when you just installed sod. The quality of the materials also seems to be sub par. The flagstone in out path already has pieces coming off it. We had agreed to have a drip system installed in the raised vegetable beds. Their installation consisted of a single pipe in each bed with no actual drip components installed--I was told to do it myself. Shortly thereafter, the pipe burst. When I attempted to contact the company to fix it, my e-mail was ignored. Overall, this company has extremely poor customer service, is unreliable, and the work is substandard. I would not recommend for any project. read more

These guys will verbally tell you everything you would like to hear in a trustworthy company. PLEASE do not trust anything they have to say. If you sign their contract, please read, read and read it again. They will only stick by what the contract states and not what they verbally tell you. They also use tactics such as stating you are hostile to get out of sticking by their word. Save the frustration it takes to deal with them and go with someone else. I had seen good reviews for FRSR on the internet and hired them based on those reviews. So, I thought I better post a review since I had a bad exprience with them. First, the price of my project went up two times. They then did the project quickly, and I was pleased with the people who came out and did the installation. However, there were a few remaining issues and repairs after the project was completed. I called and sent emails about them and got absolutely no reply from them. Pretty amazing after I spent about $6000 with them. I will now have to hire someone else to fix the problems that they would not. read more

Do NOT use this company! We signed a contract with them in May for them to start work right after July 4th but they gave us excuse after excuse and finally started in September! Ours was a fairly big project, raising a hill by putting in large brick pavers, back filling, setting the new fence posts then a concrete edger around the entire project. First they only had a 2 man crew with 1 guy sitting and 1 working most of the time. They would work anywhere from 4-6 hours maybe 2 days a week. Then they said our quote did not include the back fill labor or dirt. The contractor (Ben, who is just a company yes man) that we dealt with knew exactly what we wanted but the owner told us we had to pay more! The price was over $10k and they wanted another $4,000.! We have asked for the owner to come meet with us and look over the job, we can't even get him to call! At this point we are going to finish the project ourselves and take them to small claims court to see if we can get any of the $7000. that we have already paid them. I just hope this help others before its too late! We got their name at the Denver Home & Garden show, really thought we could trust a company from there but I guess they don't check very well on who they allow bc we aren't the only ones that have been screwed by this company read more

We needed to get our concrete patio and our wood deck replaced with a composite deck - the patio had sunk and the deck was showing its age. FRSR was great. The County imposed some unexpected obstacles, which meant some design modifications and delays, but Matt (our main contact) kept going back to the County, working with them, to get everything approved - including some changes to some of their changes to which I had objected. Everything came out beautifully. Matt was a pleasure to work with. All the workmen were so nice. Everything was cleaned up. Eric, the boss, was also great. Now we are having them redo some of our landscaping - the new stamped concrete patio and composite deck look so good, we want to spiff up the area all around it! read more

.We had our deck and patio done by FRSR, LLC and within a month of the project being completed we started seeing MAJOR issues with the new deck, railing, lighting and the concrete. I've sent multiple emails to Eric Fuerst and Matt over the past six months and they will NOT respond or address any of our issues. The deck and concrete are still under the one year warranty but I can't get the company to respond. To make matters worse, they took pictures of our completed project without our knowledge or consent and posted them on Facebook and they did not even spell our name right!!!!! Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life, bar none! My apologies for not reviewing sooner, perhaps I could have saved a few people the anguish of contracting with them. To paraphrase, I had them do a overlay of a existing concrete pad combined with a new pour of stamped concrete, the salesman assured me there would be no problem. Immediately the overlay cracked, delaminated, and began spalling, the poured concrete also cracked in multiple areas. After many attempts at contacting them ( they will not take phone calls, calls only go to their answering service, you have to try to communicate via e-mail ) they finally agreed to repair the issue. They never showed up. More attempts at contact only got me more excuses. I contacted the BBB ( FRSR is not a BBB company, with good reason, they have a C- rating there which is to high in my opinion ) and attempted a resolution , no luck, they even blatantly lied about my correspondence with them! Bottom line, I am out over four thousand dollars and have to replace the entire patio which I will do with a reputable company that is recognized by the BBB, Angies List, or Dave Logan. Please don't do as I did and take them at their word, read these reviews and others and I am sure you will come to the logical conclusion that this company should be avoided at all costs! read more

Stay away from these guys. BEWARE I would never use these guys. It took them 4 months to finish Our (winter) project as stated on facebook. It doesnt look bad from away in the photos they posted. But there are cracks all through it, No Pride in their work, Owner Yelled at my wife. The grout work looks like crap, you can see finger prints in it. They never wiped it down to smooth it out. They left holes in the grout and didnt finish the grout up to the edges of the openings. In some spots it was 2 to 3 inches away The guy doing the install had plans in his hand that stated 10'X13' and was only building a 10'X10' BEWARE When I complained the sale guy about the grout work he wrote me an email that stated ". We sent pictures in to our faux stone manufacturer and they verified that the grout work to the stone was well within industry standards".
