My work booked food trucks come out our work site. Fruit Frenzie was one of them. My co-workers were excited about it. I've never tried Fruit Frenzie before. I ordered the Mahalo mango smoothie. It is mango of course, with pineapple, orange, coconut milk, and coconut water. It was good and refreshing. The truck was supposed to stay until 4pm, but the truck left early. A lot of our staff was disappointed they left. The were waiting close to when they got off work. They wanted to buy extra things for their families to try or didn't get to try anything at all.

We LOVE Fruit Frenzie!! Just moved to the area in February and it is now our routine to go here every Saturday morning at the Downtown Folsom farmers market! The whole staff is just incredible and we look forward to seeing them weekly and enjoying their yummy oat bowls! Highly recommend!! Thank you Kimo, Dakota, Corinne & Kayla!

Yummmm! I love a good smoothie bowl and Fruit Frenzie is where it's at! I am lucky that Fruit Frenzie is parked right outside my daughter's swim school every Thursday! Last week I ordered the Mahalo Mango with bananas, blueberries, strawberries - basically all the fruitz on top with crunchy almond butter and coconut. It was sooooo good! They also serve smoothies and overnight oats! Staff is super friendly and was great with making recommendations! They also put their schedule on the Instagram account. I highly recommend checking them out! You won't be disappointed.

Having good nutrition is vital to your health at any given age. Besides the activities that you do, the foods that you eat fuels your body and can affect your overall health and wellbeing. The goal is to have plenty of nutrient-dense foods in your diet in order to give you long lasting energy, keep your heart beating, brain active, and muscles working. Here at Fruit Frenzie, you are given the opportunity to fill your body with that right nutrition! For those that are seeking a healthy lifestyle, I highly recommend you to pay a visit here. You can check out their website at fruitfrenzie or visit their Instagram profile for updates on their schedule due to the pandemic. I had the opportunity to try them out the other day at the Folsom Farmer's Market. There is a variety of options available to choose from including smoothies, bowls, oats, coffees, and teas. I've tried açaí bowls many times at different businesses, and Fruit Frenzie is definitely up there at the best. Super generous portions and great pricing! You can tell the ingredients used here are high quality because you are guaranteed to be satisfied! I was able to meet with the owner, Dakota herself that day, and was greeted with a huge welcoming smile. Besides delicious products, you can expect to receive excellent customer service.

FRUIT FRENZIE What is not to like about them? Better yet, what's not to love about them? A few months ago I was driving down El Camino Avenue and spotted the Fruit Frenzie truck parked in the parking lot at the Little Whale Swim School (https://www.yelp.com/biz/little-whale-swim-school-sacramento). I pulled into the parking lot thinking to myself that a smoothie sounded pretty good. Come to find out, they were shooting a segment with Good Day Sacramento! I hung out to see what was going on from across the parking lot, and waited to try a smoothie. I stood there and watched as they filmed the news segment, unaware that they weren't actually open to the public. After they were done filming I made by way to the ordering window, but before I made it there I was met outside by Kimo one of Fruit Frenzie's owners. Kimo said they were not prepared to take payments for items and had limited product due to only being there to shoot a news segment, but would still gladly make me something. I decided that since one of my favorite fruits is mango, that I would just try a "Mahalo Mango Smoothie." Within a few minutes the other owner Dakota handed me my smoothie. She thanked me for coming. I tried to give them cash for my smoothie but Kimo refused and said " Just come back again" so I happily left, drinking my smoothie. WOW it tasted good. It was so refreshing with oranges, pineapple and mango. All those flavors burst in your mouth all at once. Once I got home, I looked up Fruit Frenzie to see where they were going to be located. I was excited to see that they are frequently at two separate locations close to my house! Thursday afternoons they go to the Little Whale Swim School and Sunday mornings they are parked at the Carmichael Farmer's Market. My wife and I have become repeat customers, ordering something from Fruit Frenzie about two to three times a month. Each time I get something different. There are so many different combinations to choose from, you never have to get the same thing and are bound to find a lot of things to love. They serve smoothies and bowls, which are thicker with a base and toppings. First things first. Choose your base. Aloha Anuhea (one of my favorites) - Strawberries, banana, and almond milk. It's slightly sweet and you can totally taste the strawberries. Dakimo - Dragon fruit, mango, banana, and almond milk. This one is good, but it has too much of a banana taste for me. Kanaka - Acai, strawberries, bananas, and apple juice. Mahalo Mango - mangos, pineapple, oranges, coconut milk, and coconut water. This is my go-to bowl. I just love all the citrus flavors that go into this bowl. Shaka - oats, banana, & homemade cold brew. I don't like this bowl very much, only because it has a strong banana and coffee taste. If you really like bananas and coffee, then this is a good one for you. It is my wife's favorite. This last base is Kalapaki made with hawaiian spirulina, peaches, bananas, and apple juice. This bowl is also one of my favorites. Don't let the green color throw you off, because the taste is great. I love how the taste of peaches comes up in the after taste, and even though the base has bananas in it, they are not too over powering. The best part about all the ingredients used to make these bowls is that they are all organic. After you pick your base, you get to pick 4 toppings. Toppings include all types of different fresh fruits and nuts, along with things like coconut shavings and bee pollen. There are probably around thirty different types of toppings to choose from. My go-to toppings that I frequently use are asian pears, strawberries, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, mango, sunflower seeds, and bee pollen. My wife's go-to toppings are cashews, coconut, banana, pecans, blackberries, raspberries, and apple. The next step in creating your bowl is choosing which nut/seed butter you are going to use. I personally use the honey sunflower seed butter. I think it makes my Kalapaki and Mahalo Mango bowls pop with flavor. Other butter you can choose from are chocolate hazelnut, macadamia and almond butter. My wife gets either the chocolate hazelnut or the macadamia nut butter on hers, but also loves the sunflower seed butter. There are other super boosts and power add-ins that you can add to your bowl, but I haven't tried any of those yet. If you are just ordering a smoothie, they are made from the same bowl ingredients, but are blended more so they can go through a straw. You don't get any toppings on your smoothie. They also sell oats and Hawaiian coffees. In all my times visiting the Fruit Frenzie truck, I have not been disappointed in the service, kind staff, and delicious freshness in my fruit smoothie bowls. Thank you Kimo, Dakota, Kayla, and Corinn for being such amazing people and bringing healthy fresh options to our community!

We got the oatmeal and mmmmm!!! I think the spoke cinnamon was the bomb but husband said his blueberry was the best. Delish, healthy and filling!

24oz $8

Another day at the Carmichael Park Farmers Market. Sunday mornings. .. I got the 24 ounce overnight blueberry oats for $8. Comes with over night oats, blueberries, banana, walnuts, honey, and almond butter. Was a pretty tasty healthy meal, even shared some with my pup. He too was a fan!

Awesome people, delicious bowls, and good coffee. Can't ask for more! Takes you right back to Hawaii.

My wife and I just moved to back to Sacramento and visited the Fruit Frenzie truck on our first Sunday back in the 916. The aćai bowls are UNREAL. The granola and almond butter is FIRE. The overall taste feels like it is straight from the islands. Kimo & Dakota crush it with their hospitality and commitment to the community! We'll be back 100%. - Toph & Bailey, Mahalo!

Best place for smoothie bowls! The fruit is always super fresh and tasty. I love coffee so I always go for the Shaka bowl which has cold brew blended in. My girlfriend today went for the Dakimo bowl which came out a super pretty pink!

Amazing smoothies. The apple and almond are also very good. We have gotten a smoothie every time we visit the Folsom farmers market. They make them really fast.

This will be the best thing you've ever put in your mouth!

But now that I'm trying to live a "healthier lifestyle", I thought I'd give this place a try after the gym one day. This is a quick walk from the 24 hour fitness down the plaza so it was not hard to get here for me. I'm not sure if they validate parking, but you can park in the garage next to 24 fitness or the garage by the movie theaters if you need to find close parking. When I got here, they were going to close shop in about 10 minutes. I skimmed the menu quickly and decided to get the power bowl since I wanted some protein and a healthier option post workout. I did ask to sub blueberries with bananas (so I got all bananas) and asked for a scoop of almond butter instead of a sizzle. The lone worker was able to accommodate me. Speaking of worker, the lone worker here was great. She was friendly and accommodated my slight modifications with no issues. She made the bowl nice as well. Inside the shop, it is small and there is very limited seating. But you can take your bowl with you and eat it around doco, which I think is the better option unless it's hot. The bowl itself was great. It tasted fresh and the fruit was good. I like the crunch from the granola and nuts and the scoop of a almond butter added great texture and flavor. The banana was good as well. Acai fresh in Davis is still my #1 bowl, but this is still a great alternative. I'll make time to come back, maybe after another gym session.

I have seen others post about the burger and every time they share photos on social media I would tell myself I need to try it. Well, the day finally came, I stopped in for lunch with my dog and ordered their honeycomb cold brew and the Cove Burger with fries and then grabbed one of the small tables outside. This restaurant truly maximizes it's space with seating inside and a couple tables outside. It gets great natural lighting and the front counter is prominent when you first walk in making the whole flow of the place very thoughtful and smooth. The team is so friendly, from the owner Jon to the amazing team working in the kitchen and on drinks. They're all so nice to interact with and always have great suggestions and service. My normal order here is the flat white and I've been working my way through their menu. Everything is delicious, high quality and fresh. If you get a chance to try their fresh baked cookies- do it! The Anzac biscuit with a cup of coffee is a perfect pair! All the breakfast items are amazing and the bacon is THICK. Back to my latest visit: Jon brought out my burger and cold brew and it was BEAUTIFUL (photos included for proof). The patty was flavorful, the bun was unbelievably fluffy and soft, and it had the perfect ratio of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. The special sauce was the perfect touch- I didn't need any extra sauce with it, it was perfect as is. The fries are an optional add on and I decided to go for it so I could share some with my dog, and there was a very generous portion of crinkle cut fries. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The honeycomb cold brew was DELICIOUS. I typically get the flat white, but like to explore their specialty drinks. They're known for having amazing drink offerings. I've been told their matcha is top tier (though I'm not personally a fan of matcha) but their coffee always hits for me. This is one of my favorite cafes in the Sacramento area, especially when it comes to great drinks paired with a real meal.

Those of you that know me already know that I am a big time meat eater. But I am always open to soy protein and impossible meat options. This takes me to the Arden neighborhood of Sacramento where I had the opportunity to try out "RAW Superfood Cafe". Located in the Howe Bout Arden shopping center, this place has been opened since early-2024 while replacing the once popular "CREAM" which was a surprise since they did not last long in this busy outdoor strip mall. Prior to coming here, I've already heard of RAW Superfood Cafe as they have 3 locations in the Bay Area; San Jose, Milpitas, and San Jose; and 2 locations in the Sacramento area; Elk Grove and this one that I am reviewing. I ended up coming here during the afternoon on Friday 6/5/2026 at around 5:15pm. The inside area is very bright, cheerful, and lively with a few tables with leather booth-seating, bamboo wood paneling, and fake grass with the business name aligned to it. Additionally, there is a large digital kiosk where you can place your order and pay using a card or smartphone. The specialty here are their blended and layered bowls which offer a huge assortment of customizable creations. This is where you can choose a base (for example, açaí, mango, dragonfruit, etc.) while picking various toppings (nuts, fruits, coconut chips, etc.) and finishing it off with a drizzle of vanilla, chocolate, or anything you might be craving. However, they also offer a vast amount of smoothies, protein shakes, wellness drinks, blended and iced coffee beverages, and even a respectable amount of food. When I say food, this just isn't a couple items; this is more a few dozen food items to choose from. Everything from various sandwiches, burgers, breakfast toasts, bagels, salads, and soups. Since I was craving an actual meal/drink, I went with their "Bánh Mì Sandwich" (priced at $13.95). This sandwich consisted of house Asian sauce, caramelized onions, pickled daikon, carrots, cilantro, mayo, jalapeño, and cucumber. I paired this a refreshingly cold-pressed Calamansi juice (priced at $5.50). I ordered this exclusively on the kiosk and paid for it digitally via-Apple Pay. Within 5-7 minutes, my drink and food was ready for pickup. I am quite picky about my Bánh Mì Sandwiches but for them to substitute this with vegan meat was an absolute win-win for me. The 'meat' was well-seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor while the bread was soft and made to perfection. Even my drink hit the spot on a seasonably warm 94°F day. I thoroughly enjoyed this while dining inside a very clean, sterile, and bright interior while the employees were absolutely friendly and accommodating. With that said and done, I am giving the Arden "RAW Superfood Cafe" a perfect and unanimous five-star rating.
