Decent popcorn shop with open during early hours in Sacramento. Initially thought it was just caramel corn, but o once I arrived they have other flavors as well. Was greeted upon entering. Another customer was ahead of me. Their menu is viable and adequately priced. I was offered several samples. I tried the cheddar(what I initially came for), a dark chocolate drizzle (chocolate is wax free and delish), Thai chili (surprisingly good- had a nice heat to it too), and the regular popcorn (drizzled lightly with olive oil and sea salt). Everything was good. Definitely a healthier alternative to your typical cheddar popcorn that is bright orange. This cheddar popcorn has good flavor as it felt the cheddar was dusted on top of the popcorn. Ambiance is that of a small popcorn shop. Think just popping in (pun intended) to grab a few bags to go. My first time in here and it was a cool experience. You are allowed to taste the different flavors of popcorn and there's a variety of sizes. I got a sports tin (Go Kings!). When I bring it back I get a discount on refilling. And, you can get multiple flavors in your tin, or buy smaller bags. I got plain (surprisingly great for plain) and chocolate drizzle. Now let me start by saying, I haven't had the chance to personally try Carmazzi just yet (something I definitely plan to change soon!), but I still wanted to take a moment to leave a review because of how wonderful and generous they were. They donated to our hospital for Nurses Week, and their kindness did not go unnoticed. The shop itself was absolutely adorable, and the moment you walk in, the amazing smells hit you, in the best way. We stumbled upon this place by total accident - we were on our way to dinner next door at Dukes and the smell of the fresh popcorn caught our interest. We walked in and the owner herself let us sample each type of popcorn that they sold since we told her we had never been there before (caramel, cheddar, dark chocolate, and apple cinnamon). She was so nice and very welcoming and even told us the history of her place. It's a family recipe of the caramel and also a family-run business. They were also voted #1 dessert in Sacramento for 2024 and I can see why! Now the popcorn itself is DELICIOUS. I'm not the biggest fan of caramel corn because it always gets stuck in my teeth and it's soo sweet. That is not the case with Carmazzi. The caramel is delicious, doesn't stick to my teeth, and it's the perfect ratio compared to the corn kernels themselves. The apple cinnamon seasonal flavor is to. die. for. There are even little slices of candied apple in the mix. I'm going to go back just to buy a few bags of this before it goes away for the season. I can't say enough about how good this popcorn is. There are also a lot of really cute tins you can also purchase and bring back to get refilled for a 5$ discount. These would make perfect stocking stuffers or gifts for any occasion! read more

Delicious popcorn! It smells heavenly when you walk into the shop. The atmosphere is warm and colorful. Amazing service. As soon as I walked in, I was offered a free sample of their seasonal flavor, apple cinnamon for fall. They have refillable buckets of different sizes. Including gift buckets with different themes. I wanted to try a couple of flavors, so I got a bag of the apple cinnamon and one of the chocolate drizzled. The bags are resealable in case you don't finish in one sitting. Both flavors are tasty, but I think the die hard chocolate lover in me has to pick the drizzle as my favorite! We'll certainly be back. Their popcorn is really delicious, I recommend trying the Thai popcorn; it's not as spicy as it looked. So, So generous and really sweet! Never been to the actual store but have had their caramel corn delivered many times. I am not the biggest fan of plain popcorn (from anywhere) but I do love kettle and caramel corn. Truth be told, I would eat caramel corn weekly + if my teeth were not an issue. Carmazzi, IMHO, has the best caramel corn in All The Land --at least in the lands in and around Sacramento/surrounding areas. (The Popcorn Store in Elk Grove comes in at a close second though.) I basically look for 3 things in good caramel popcorn: 1) freshness; 2)flavor, and 3) crunch. Carmazzi checks all those boxes without being cloyingly sticky or sweet.
