They were so friendly and I loved the variety of flavors available. The price is also really reasonable for the serving size. On my visit I ordered a regular shave ice ($6) with half passionfruit have POG syrup and a snow cap. The ice was finely shaved and melted in your mouth. The texture was great and the syrup went all the way through the ice making every bite flavorful. The addition of the snow cap is a must, in my opinion, and it was a nice touch that this was complimentary. The space is part of the restaurant so there is plenty of seating available, including some covered outdoor seats and it's the perfect sweet treat after a good meal with Kado Asian Fusion. read more

My coworker decided to get ONE more thing before we left the event that day and it was Local Kine's - The small cone comes with 3 different flavors. He got pink lemonade, strawberry, and pineapple. True Hawaiian shaved ice should melt in your mouth the moment you take a bite! Whenever I'm in the mood for shaved ice, I always get it from Local Kine because they never disappoint! I also love the variety of flavors they offer. I try to get something new every time but I just love the POG flavor so that's always a must. I've actually never heard of this food truck but my friends wanted to try it so we did! You can choose up to 3 flavors, so we chose: Blue Hawaii, Guava, Mango. It comes with some choices of free toppings, so we added the Snow Cap to it. It was $7 and was quite refreshing! To me, the flavors just tasted like a bunch of sugar and I could taste the Blue Hawaii but not the other two very well. On a hot day, it's a GREAT snack/dessert but I would have preferred ice cream or even a popsicle.
