This place is set up like self serve but they do it for you. It was a friendly older pair that were really nice. They popped out from the back and asked what size cup you want and flavors. You tell them when to stop. Then they bring you over to the toppings, which they have wet and dry. Again, they scoop it for you. After you finish deciding, they weigh your cup and you pay based on the weight. I liked my frozen yogurt, the dry toppings didn't taste the freshest but still good. I got a mix of hazelnut and toasted marshmallow froyo, and hot fudge with strawberries, M&Ms, and a few other candies. I do miss being able to make it myself but maybe it's for a health reason. My sister introduced me to Fruitee Yogurt and i've been here 3 times since. It is a small yogurt shop with many yogurt options but very little seating options, especially since a lot of teenagers like to hang out there so we've had to order to-go cups a few times or just stood outside. Fruitee Yogurt is a by weight of cup yogurt place, so you the more it weighs, the more you pay. They offer a small, medium and large size cups. They have plenty of yogurt flavor options and they change them every once in a while but they always seem to run out of flavors. I like the variety of toppings too. They range from fruits to nuts to chocolate to cereal toppings and much more. I actually appreciate that they kept the covid limitations and someone from the staff has to prepare your yogurt bowl for you. I think it's more sanitary and more organized. Yes, it does create a line of people waiting to order but there is only one scale for check out anyway so it makes sense. Plus, there are mutiple people working the yogurt filling section and the weighing and payment section. I recently got the strawberry lime sorbet and the regular yogurt and added fruits and nuts and boba popping balls for toppings. I absolutely loved it. My entire family loves this place. read more

Fruitee Yogurt used to be really good around 5-7 years ago! But the management is very odd now because although the couple is very respectful and nice, they don't allow customers to self serve their yogurt and toppings. They probably started doing this for pandemic reasons but they don't even wear gloves, so it seemed a bit counterproductive. Also know that the place doesn't offer samples Aside from these details, the yogurt was just not very tasteful for me. To my memory, it used to be a lot sweeter, but now the yogurt seems to have more of a slushy watery taste. Overall, I just wish they went back to their old ways read more

Very disappointed. I was looking for a good nostalgic froyo place after the closing of the beloved zinga once the froyo craze died down. All day I looked forward to being able to craft my own beautiful bowl of delicious to my specific wants. However, I was DEVASTATED upon entering the door to the employees coming out of hiding behind the counter and asking me what size I want. I was confused, however I didn't pick up on what was yet to come. The absolute LAST THING I was expecting was for her to ask what flavor I wanted and begin FILLING MY CUP FOR ME. Not to mention you pay by weight, so she filled it TO THE BRIM and there was nothing I could do but pay the 30 dollars for two mere bowls of MEDIUM. I SAY MEDIUM. Mediocre froyo. Safe to say, I do not recommend and I I'm currently on my way to a superior froyo joint. Will update when I find it. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Comparable places charge anywhere from $.29 to $.59/oz and this place charges $.79/oz. This amounts to $8 for a small portion of mediocre yogurt. Can touch anything. Can't take a yogurt cup. Can't pull the lever for your yogurt flavors. Can't put on your own toppings. Caution tape all over the chairs. Staff hastily meets you at the yogurt cups and you have to walk down the line of yogurts and tell them what you want as they pull the levers. Really bizarre business. Too uptight for a night out of ice cream. I left when I found out I couldn't do my own toppings. Nuts!! People are off the wall with terror and fear. Extraordinary rude and obnoxious way to treat a customer from the owner. Unacceptable behavior especially when people wants to be out and try to help a business. Great froyo place! Delicious original tart flavor and fresh toppings. The fruit was tasty even in the middle of the winter. People who work there are lovely; I appreciate that they wear masks and serve you (sometimes the self-serve froyo places can get a little nasty with everyone touching everything, so I appreciate that they've taken extra precautions for covid/flu season). Bad Service! No More Point Cards! Ok Flavors Bad Service- All the time the lady's there are giving me a bad glance! Once I came in and I wanted to sit at a table, the lady working there told me that I couldn't sit there because she was expecting someone. I was there for about 45 min no one sat there. She's always harassing me as if she wants me to leave! No More Point Cards- I don't know if it's just that the people working there have something against me but I asked them if they could stamp my usual card. The lady told me that they weren't using points anymore. I went to my table thinking to myself huh that's so weird. Then another lady pays and she asked for her points. THE LADY STAMPED HER CARD. Why the heck have I never reviewed Fruitee? This is one of our favorite spots for a cold treat in town. Love that they usually have a dairy free option, and the topping bar has so many perfectly fresh fruits--for me--and treats--for my kids. So tasty! Ice cream in the winter = yay! This shop is doing an amazing job with COVID precautions. Only 1 party is allowed in the shop at once. The owner opens the door and offers hand sanitizer, then gets the self-serve ice cream and topping for you. You basically don't have to touch anything except for your own credit card while paying. The shop is very safe and sanity. It was as close as possible to self-serve as possible. And I got my popping boba fix :) read more

I've been here twice and both were good experiences! Good selection of flavors, some standard, some creative; lots of yummy toppings, including fruit that actually looks decently fresh; typical froyo seating area (plastic chairs and tables, maybe six or seven tables). (Side note: why do all froyo places look like this? What is it about froyo that says, "eat me in uncomfortable plastic chairs, preferably white, occasionally with some splash of bright color, in a sterile-looking room with one bright green wall"?) Flavors I've tried, ranked by preference: -Chocolate - SO good. Often chocolate froyo tastes kind of watered-down but Fruitee's is so rich and delicious. -Chocolate mint - tastes like a thin mint. Mmmmm. Especially yummy with some oreo piece topping for added crunch. -"Bilberry" greek yogurt lol (this is what it was labeled but going by the picture on the sign and the flavor, I'm gonna go with blueberry) - the blueberry (bilberry?) flavor is very mild but this is still a tasty alternative to original tart. -Green Tea - tastes surprisingly (well, surprisingly to me) like the real thing. I'm not a huge green tea fan but I was curious so I tried it anyways, and I think any green tea devotee would be pleased with the authenticity of the flavor. That's all I've tried so far. Ok, the primary caveat to this review is that I have only been here after biking 3 to 30 miles on an empty stomach. That said, Fruitee definitely serves the best froyo I can remember tasting (and I lived in CA!) The yogurt is refreshing yet rich and I am always surprised how delicious and clean their flavors can be. Their watermelon tastes just as crisp and juicy as real fruit, but slightly more decadent. The chocolate hazelnut tastes just like Nutella, but not so cloyingly sweet and dense that I can't finish 8 oz of it in one sitting. The shop is small, bright, and clean, and the woman who runs the place is friendly but not overly solicitous. It is also easily accessible from the bike path or downtown, so much so that I can't resist stopping here every time I take the Minuteman. read more
