Solid. Some interesting flavors and healthy portions at decent prices. Although the large came in a solo cup thing, which was kinda weird.

Last time I came here I was not satisfied. I have been coming to Bedford for as long as I can remember. I came here since I was a kid getting their frappes but this time last night I got ice cream. I got two flavors inside of a small cup. I got chocolate and chocolate chip. Their chocolate ice cream is really good and is very flavorful. Their chocolate chip is in fact my favorite location for the flavor. They have good vanilla and the chocolate chip chunks are big. The flavor combo is really good and when I come back I will have it again. read more

As a frequent visitor, I can't say enough about the quality of the ice cream both in flavor and quantity. I get a small cone for the ride home, and a half gallon once a month. And the cost is very reasonable for a top shelf homemade ice cream. read more

Who doesn't love ice cream...especially when it's from a homemade ice cream place? Bedford Farms is my favorite place in this area. Their ice cream is full of flavor and the texture is so smooth. The ice cream flavors with candies/chocolates are packed into the cone, they don't skimp. I have had a lot of their flavors. Whatever flavor it is, Bedford Farms' does it well. I love that they give you cones with your take home containers of ice cream, which are topped past the container that the lids can't fit. On super hot days, I'll stop in for a soft serve cone. They're super cold and perfect for a brain freeze. Parking is a small lot right in front of the store and there's plenty of street parking. read more

Bedford Farms is a Concord favorite. There's a larger stand over in Bedford (cause after all it's not Concord Farms). The ice cream is very good, but the space is mostly parking lot and train tracks. There's only a couple of seats inside. I like their Oreo and Green Monster. They also make a good frappe. Update - the seasonal flavor peach is out of this world! read more

I wanted to drop a review for a seminal ice cream shop in my hometown. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and more often recently since Reasons to be Cheerful, closer to my family house, recently shut down. Bedford Farms has always been outstanding, one of the top of the line places to get ice cream that you could find. The portions are quite generous, probably the best I've seen, and the quality is always excellent. There's a nice line-up of flavors, my recent favorite being a very special one called Toll House. It's vanilla ice cream with big hunks of actual chocolate chip cookies, and it's amazing. All the people I've had it with agree with how great it is. It's definitely a community destination, and high school and college students seem to be the main employees. Bedford Farms is probably my favorite ice cream place, so check it out and experience a seminal place in Concord. read more

I've noticed the trend in your chocolate chip ice cream lately (like throughout last summer as well)that there has been less and less chips. The latest half gallon is practically straight vanilla. I realize times are hard and all, but if we can't indulge in some quality ice cream, what's the point? We go to Bedford farms for something a bit extra than what we can get at the supermarket. Based on the trend outlined above, I have to say that store bought Edy's hasn't skimped on their chips, and they hit a more economical price point as well. I hope you can get back on track, as this brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "chip shortage" that we hear about in the news. I'm boycotting until this injustice is rectified! read more

Such good ice cream! No reason to give an amazing ice cream place anything but 5 stars, in my opinion. They have a ton of great flavors, from classics like vanilla/chocolate/coffee to way more inventive ones. A "mini cup" is reasonably priced and definitely enough ice cream; the small looked like a ton!! My only gripe is that they told me the only way to get two flavors is to order a large (!!!) which felt like enough ice cream for 3 people haha, so I couldn't order multiple flavors. They're really generous with the tasting spoons too, my friend tried 3 flavors and I feel like she was basically full after those hahaha (don't worry, she did get her own). read more

This came highly recommended by several people local to the area, so perhaps my expectations were set unfairly high, but I was left mostly in the middle of the whole experience. Friendly staff and very fast service, so kudos to them for managing the bustling line and keeping things moving forward without too much chaos. I got the Toll House, recommended by the cashier, but to be honest the cookie portions were buried in the tumultuous sea of vanilla base and never stepped forward as a component with presence. Chocolate chunks did most of the heavy lifting and the cookie bits I did get were without texture; some solid chunks would have contrasted nicely with the rest of the scoop. That said, the vanilla ice cream itself was notably a step above what I'd anticipate from hard-scoop ice cream, and you can certainly taste the creaminess and luxurious richness. Honestly, the portion is big enough to wrap around as somewhat intimidating instead of enjoyable, and I would have had a better time with a kiddie scoop or something of the like. Melted quick, although I don't think that's the ice cream's fault, and could only get through about half of it before it wasn't worth spooning back in. I'd probably come back, but I'd be interested in any frozen yogurt or soft-serve options they'd be offering. read more

I was in the area and since the warmer weather has been emerging, I have been trying to take advantage/explore whenever possible. After checking out the daCordova Sculpture Park nearby, I decided to swing by Bedford Farms, and it was great. I had the Milky Way, which was delicious--chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and caramel. The service was friendly and they also posted what allergens are in their ice cream on their website, which is also very appreciated/helps to prepare ahead of time. I grew up eating Bedford farms and it is a staple in the area. I got a small strawberry in a cup and it was HUGE in my opinion. My two friends also got small and one of them couldn't even finish it because it was too big. In the future I think I'm gonna get the kid size which I believe in smaller than the small. Came here based on locals recommendation. What is there to say ... they have a lot of ice cream and yogurt, and some interesting mixes. I paid around $35 for our party of eight that got 2 kids, 5 smalls and 2 larges. Seems reasonable. Service was fast. They handled our order and many more coming in quickly. There is a lot of inside and outside seating. I got a large Milkyway. It was good. Very good. I did like the extra caramel syrup mixed in. Spectacular, OMG, I want to come back for this? Not really, but maybe there are other worthy flavors. If this was my neighborhood I could see being a regular. Four stars for being overall very good with great service. read more

I came here the past weekend after visiting Walden Pond on 90+ degree day. Bedford Farms ice cream was just what we needed. Freshly made ice cream, soft serve and frozen yogurt with many many choice of flavors. The price is quite steep, but they do give a generous amount. Got a moosetrack sundae with hot fudge and whipped cream. Very yummy, but the ice cream melted so fast! The hot fudge must have been super hot so that the ice cream was more soup-y. There aren't many choices in the area so if I am back in the area and craving ice cream i'll probably go back, but skip the hot fudge. read more

I got a frappe and it tasted great. However, when I got toward the bottom of it I noticed a couple hairs. It was was a different color than mine and handed to me with the lid on, so I know it wasn't mine. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I was bummed and grossed out when I saw this. It's summer so I'm always happy to find new ice cream stores to try. I ran into Bedform Farms while in Concord and it was a little busy which is always a good sign. I ordered the kiddie size which is much larger than expected! I can't imagine what the small and large look like. The kiddie size is only one flavor so I just had the chocolate which was very good. I LOVE BEDFORD FARMS!! And not just because it's my local ice cream shop :) I would definitely come here even if it was more of a drive (I even frequent the Bedford location as well). IMY family and I love their ice cream. The consistency is great and the flavors are delicious. I always get coffee and mud pie, and those two never disappoint. I also am a fan of their soft serve. My brother gets chunky chocolate pudding and tollhouse most often (as well as milkshakes) and loves them. My parents love mud pie and muddy river. Their only complaint is that muddy river (chocolate with a peanut butter swirl) sometimes is not very well mixed and can have mostly plain chocolate and all the peanut butter in one frozen chunk. Okay, I guess one other thing would be that we wish they'd bring back their "mini" size that they offered for a limited time a couple years ago (the portions here are huge). Tasty ice cream! Excellent service, very friendly, always working - great staff. Small parking lot but and its always busy but people are in and out all the time. Not a lot of seating (inside or out) but your not there for the ambiance. Just kind of wanted a normal Ice cream experience. Should've turned around before even walking in when I could hear the many teenage girls singing country songs at the top of their lungs. Seemed to be about 20 kids in their and only about 2 working. The singing and talking didn't really stop either with the presence of customers. If you want ice cream and are in the area, Bedford Farms is (and should be) your only choice. They have so many options not just for ice cream and frozen yogurt, but also for toppings and combinations, etc. we got the Cookie Dough and Toll House ice creams (Toll House is vanilla with bits of baked cookie in it), the Toll House stole the show. The portion sizes are extremely extremely generous and trust us when we say the kids size is actually a small, the small is a large, and the large is to share for at least 2 people. After spending the day jumping on and off the commuter rail, we stopped at Concord to explore a little then head back home. Right as we get off the train we stumbled onto this gem right here. It had a line out the door. I saw all these people with the ice cream cups so I knew we had to stop there. I got the chocolate pudding in the brownie sundae.
