I got the classic tart yogurt with three of my friends right before this place closed and it was great! I got strawberry pieces, chocolate chips, and strawberry flavored boba. So, when I stumbled across Fruitee Yogurt, I was delighted! I've been coming here a couple times a month for close to a year now, and love it. The flavors are rich and delicious - my favorites are the chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, and salted caramel. There's a good selection of fresh fruit, as well as a wide variety of candy for people like me who want their frozen yogurt experience to be sugar, sugar, and more sugar. The interior is clean, bright, and cute, and the woman who runs it is extremely sweet. It's also worth mentioning that Fruitee Yogurt offers a stamp card - $3 off after $30 spent. Ok, you might think it crazy to get fro-yo in the middle of winter, and during COVID, but my daughter and I just went to Fruitee Yogurt this past week and were so happy we did! First, COVID precautions, since this is all-important to our family and we have definitely been on the conservative side (including working 100% from home, using groceries delivered, no restaurant dining, etc). First, masks are required of all customers, and the very nice employee working there was wearing a mask from the start. When we came in, he immediately offered us hand sanitizer. The whole place was *spotless*. While Fruitee Yogurt would normally be a self-serve place, he politely showed us all the options and proceeded to serve everything for us, so we weren't handling any of the fro-yo knobs or cups or topping spoons. Next, the fro-yo itself -- so good!! There were 10-12 different flavors (including original tart, vanilla, chocolate, Oreo, salted caramel, lychee, mango, a sorbet, etc.). You could ask for as many flavors as you liked, and just tell him when to stop. My daughter got a delicious waffle bowl. And the toppings! So many imaginable. Besides the usual sprinkles, Reese's pieces, mini chocolate chips and yogurt chips, there were tons of different delicious Asian toppings like mini mochi, boba/jelly, fresh fruit, and many wet toppings as well. I loved the Nutella crisp one, which was like liquid Nutella containing tiny crispy rice balls. My lychee and mango fro-yo flavors were refreshing, and despite how cold it was outside, we couldn't wait to eat our unique sundaes in the car, they looked so great! We even would've returned yesterday when it was 18 degrees out, if the store hadn't been closed at 6pm! Anyway, I hope people will come support this local Asian-owned business, as everything was delicious and they are obviously doing *such* a careful job with COVID safety. The customer service is terrible. They treat you like a child by standing by you as you put in your yogurt AND your toppings. I'm sorry, I like a specific amount of toppings on froyo. I do not need another person to stand right next to me and put on two sour patch kids, six gummy bears, a quarter of a spoon of sprinkles, and half an oreo. Do you know how demeaning it is to tell a high school kid that? Extremely. I will not return. I'll head out past 95 to a suburb next time. This place is pretty awesome. It's kinda small, but I generally don't eat in stores anyway. I didn't know that they charged by weight (thought it was like berryline) so I ended up filling up a whole cup which ended up weighing like half a pound or something ridiculous. A great location in downtown Lexington near the bike path, I found the yogurt was too runny for my tastes even though it wasn't that hot outside. There are other options around that are far better. Can't think of a better way to spend a nice day on a weekend than for a 20 mile bike ride with bonus of some FroYo. Did you know that Taro tastes like a cone? Mix that with the hazelnut (that tastes like nutella) and you have a nutella ice cream cone! Love all the different fresh toppings that you can put on... fruits, candy, yogurt covered items, etc etc. Don't go too crazy on everything, or you'll have a $10 FroYo on your hands -- this place isn't one price per cup, it's pay per weight. It was snowing and I jokingly asked if anyone wanted ice cream. Well we all decided it actually was an excellent idea. The closest place was Fruitee Yogurt so we decided to try it. I'M SO GLAD WE DID! They are super Covid safe. Lots of flavors that all rotate. I tried blackcurrent, raspberry, and peach mango. Others tried chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel. How could I have missed this place in the over two years it's been in business? Well, it's tucked away on a tiny side street (Edison Way) off Mass. Ave., actually closer to the Minuteman Bikeway. It's worth the bike ride from Cambridge! I'm a huge fan of frozen yogurt, and Fruitee is among the very best. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The strawberry yogurt was outstanding, with vibrant flavor. The mango was creamy and tasty, though a little bland. What knocked me out was swirling together (as the sign recommended) coffee and salted caramel to make caramel macchiato--heavenly! It made a delicious cone. The fruit toppings were fresh and varied, including luscious raspberries (expensive and highly perishable--Pinkberry is the only other froyo joint I know that carries them). I appreciated that they offered three sizes of cups for self-service, including a moderately small one, not just the usual large and ginormous designed to trick the customer into overindulgence! And they took my credit card with no minimum purchase required. I'm always glad to support a locally owned business. According to the handwritten thank-you notes on the bulletin board, these folks are involved in community charity efforts, including Amnesty International. I'll be back. Soon. read more

After trying froyo here, I can definitely say my expectations for froyo have increased tremendously (I can't even enjoy all the froyo around my campus as much either) Now, you might say this is an over exaggeration but I beg to differ - the flavors offered at Fruitee Yogurt are very intense. For example, one of my personal favorites is their Green Tea. It has the very distinct matcha flavor - a clear sign of their commitment to quality. Consequently, just like real matcha green tea, there is a slight bitterness within the after taste (one of the reasons I love this flavor). While some people may not enjoy this aspect of green tea, the owners of Fruitee Yogurt are unwilling to decrease the quality of their frozen yogurt to appeal to this crowd. For that, I am extremely thankful. If it's your first time at FY (or first time eating frozen yogurt, for that matter), there are also many lighter flavors for various palettes to enjoy as well. Regardless of your background with frozen yogurt, I can assure you your experience at Fruitee Yogurt will not disappoint. And at 49 cents per ounce, its the best deal in the area as well! read more

We love this place. They actually make all their yogurt, and they rotate through some unique flavors (lychee [my favorite], watermelon, etc.) along with the standards (chocolate, vanilla, etc.). I first visited Fruitee Yogurt two days ago during their Grand Opening ( and on the hottest day of the year thus far, luckily for a frozen yogurt shop). My initial impression was of a lively and somewhat space-age interior, complete with levers set into the wall, which are pulled to dispense frozen yogurt and sorbet into over sized green cups. This had a stimulating effect on young customers, who, mesmerized by the jet of frozen yogurt swirling into their cups, seemed reluctant to use any restraint. The yogurt, (which includes tart (plain), blueberry, mango, pomegranate, passion fruit, green apple, watermelon, grapefruit, lemon, chocolate, peanut, salted caramel, and cheesecake flavors) can then be enhanced by an array of toppings from the bar, including candies, cereal, fresh fruit, and tiny, intriguing balls filled with fruit flavored liquid. I would personally recommend the passion fruit, which is not two sweet, subtly creamy, and really tastes like yogurt. The chocolate is also very pleasant. The atmosphere of the shop is fun and casual, the perfect refreshing stop on a sweltering day. If my first impression is any indication, I expect Frutee to become an extremely successful business model, as it appeals to both waistline conscious adults with its low fat and calorie offerings and promise of self-limited serving sizes, and to young people, who revel in self serve indulgences and the extensive topping selection. Favorite place for soft serve frozen yogurt. Self serve with many flavors to choose from and you can do multi flavors. Flavors change periodically and lots of topping choices. We are big frozen yogurt fans, and were excited to try out this local place, as we regularly drive 15 minutes to Winchester or 35 minutes to Wellesley to get yogurt at Swizzles or Pinkberry. I tried 5 flavors - Salted Caramel, Original, Mango, Watermelon (Sorbet) and Raspberry. None were as good as their counterparts at the two afforementioned stores. My kids both had some - one happily ate his chocolate sorbet, but the other (who usually consumes a big portion of froyo) told me that she didn't want anymore of her watermelon sorbet after just a few bites, because it tasted 'yukky'. Range of toppings was good, but would be nice if they had more fresh fruit (the only had strawberry, kiwi and a handful of raspberries). Can't really say we'll be going back here. I'd rather drive to Wellesley to get Pinkberry - the drive is worth the quality and taste. read more
