Holy Cow in Burlington has my whole dessert heart! The first time I came on last Thursday, that waffle bowl with ice cream changed my life so much that I went raving to my husband. Fast forward, from my house it's 35 to 40 minutes back (depending on traffic) on a Friday. I needed my husband to taste this joy!! And then... no cone or waffle bowl batter when we got to register. None. Zero. My excitement dropped faster than a melting scoop in July. I had the Raspberry gooey butter cake in a cup , which was delicious, but that waffle bowl was the reason for the road trip. I will absolutely be back because I know how amazing it can be, but please, I am begging stash an extra batch in the fridge for the long distance dessert lovers. That waffle bowl is not just dessert. It is an experience.

The menu here is bursting with enthusiasm and inspiration. Cold brew Oreo, pistachio baklava, "corner piece" (featuring only corner-piece brownies)... there were like 25 flavors on the wall and they all sounded great. I finished my salted peanut butter Oreo milkshake (which is just one flavor of ice cream) in what seemed like 3 minutes. Make sure to sample everything that sounds good. Milkshakes cost $10, so there's no reason not to make sure you'll like what you get!

After being a regular at their Northshore locations, I was so happy to see another location open up! From their original homemade icecream flavors, to the made to order waffle cones, this place does it right. They have many award winning flavors which I definitely recommend trying, especially Ritzy AF. Flavors also rotate so you can try something new each time. Prices are a little high but for the quality I'd say it's worth it. You also can't beat the experience of a fresh waffle cone with a sweet surprise at the bottom! This new location has plenty of parking and lots of seating outdoors which is a bonus. Welcome to Burlington Holy Cow!

I was in the area for work for a couple of days. Holy Cow ice cream is walking distance from where I stayed definitely worth checking out even if the weather is 37 degrees and raining outside. The storefront is fairly shallow with just the counter to order at and short table by the window next to the pint freezer. You can pick two flavors with a small size and with a wide selection of flavors, you can't really go wrong. I tried the Boston Blackout (a tar black mix of cocoa ganache and layer cake) and Pistachio Baklava (pistachio ice cream with toffee and phyllo dough) which were both 10/10. My last day of the trip I got the "Xtra Xtra" Coffee (the only flavor I found lacking, I was hoping for something more potent) and the Ritzy AF (butter cracker ice cream with cracker toffee which more than made up for the shortcomings of the coffee one). I do look forward to coming back here to try more flavors on future work trips!

Such good ice cream!! The service was great and we went to two locations while in the Boston area. We fell in love with the vibes and fun flavors. The shops were cozy and bright. I would recommend stopping by if you're in Boston!

This is the closest, and any time we are in Burlington we forget to bring it with us. We were here just before Christmas at another store picking something up and decided it was time. It had been ages since we had been into one and I was ready to try it again. So glad I did. I forgot how great the [insert candy or other items here] you get mixed in with the [insert flavor here] ice cream served in a [type of bowl or cone here] really is. I ended up with chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cup pieces and Reese's Peanut Butter sauce in a waffle bowl. Such a great choice even though it was approx. 20F out. A couple hours before they closed, there were a few people working, and there were customers coming in and out at a steady pace. No complaints. Well... maybe one. Next time, I am going to be sure to bring the gift card.

So I just went with the cake batter batter. I was the only one in there, a couple people came in after I ordered, but pretty empty. I got plenty of ice cream, it ended up melting a bit on my ride hope. Was still good but creamy. The girl warmed up and was nice at check out - ran an old gift card I had and mentioned the quality of older gift cards were better. Was able to add tip with it. Plenty of parking.

The servings are generous, the toppings abundant, and the ice cream itself is frozen perfection. Honestly, if there's a better way to spend a summer evening, I haven't found it. The setup is charming in its simplicity: a cozy little spot tucked between the stand and a neighboring building, picnic tables slightly shielded from the street. It feels almost like you've stumbled on a secret ice cream speakeasy, except the password is just "two scoops, please." Service? Quick, courteous, and top-notch--exactly the kind of people you want handing you sugar in frozen form. So why not five stars? Because the prices are... let's say "aspirational." The kind of numbers that make you check twice to make sure you didn't accidentally buy equity in the place. Delicious as it is, ice cream probably shouldn't cost the same as a casual sit-down lunch. That said, Nanabette's still delivers one of the best cones you'll find in Woburn. Just maybe bring a second wallet--you know, in case you want sprinkles.

My boys split the ice cream nachos (broken waffle cone, their choice of ice cream, 2 toppings, and dipping sauce). I only wish I would have encouraged them to choose peanut butter instead of marshmallow to dip, because we all know pb is better. I could see how this spot would be nostalgic for some, but it is also a great joint for out-of-towners.

Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.
