Pretty good service and people working this time. The first few times I came I believe was under different management/owner and it was good but not good enough to give my opinion about. Except the tosticeviche was what I always ordered and this time I got something new. I got the mangoneada and half pinada to help beat this summer heat! It works, not only is it fruity refreshing but also spicy sweet and savory. I enjoy the spicy sweet combination for any drinks or sweets and this one is just right. It's been 20 years since I last visited the Indio Mall, and needless to say I was curious to see what stores had closed and which were still around. The first shop I recognized was Paty's, and this nostalgia trip made me feel 7 again, being my mom to stop here for an ice cream to share. We came around on our way out and I got soft serve, plain cone. They only have vanilla which is a shame, since I remember I used to get the vanilla chocolate swirl as a kid. It was so big! The server really piled it high! While I was happy to see they don't skimp on portion, or was just a little too much. Soft serve cones are $3, and waffle cones are $.50 more. My younger brother had never been here before ap he didn't understand the moment I was having, but he ended up getting a scoop of sherbet (my other childhood favorite). Again a big portion, we were afraid half of it would fall off the cone, so my mom and I had to help him eat it The single scoop cone was also $3. They had their classic offerings as I remembered, banana split, sundaes, shakes, and ice cream bars, but they've also added the fried Duros and Tostilocos to the menu (when in Indio, right?) Very disappointed. I went in at 9pm (website said closed @ 9:30pm) Business "open" light was still on, walked into 2 rude females telling me they we're closed. I explained to them online it said 930, they told me they close at 9pm to clean. They had a attitude and asked me in a rude way what I wanted. Then one of the females told the other employee in Spanish that they didn't have to give service because they were closed. I'm a regular and I personally love the raspados here and it's good to see the same friendly faces every time. With that being said, earlier this week I tried using apple cash but it didn't seem to go through so I used my other card. The girl who took my order is super sweet and patient with me. But today I noticed I had two transactions for that same day (one in apple cash and other on my regular card). So I went back to ask about the issue and the same girl called the (owner/manager??) to resolve the issue. I was happy to just order and pay the difference but the manager was super bitter over the phone and just asked why I didn't just dispute it with my bank. She was very insistent on seeing my entire bank statement as if I was lying. This lady also tried to blame the girl who helped me, when it really was not her fault (she also kept assaulting her over the phone while the poor girl was trying to make our raspados). This place was really great when it first opened! My fiance and I would eat at sushi dragon (bomb) and then go next door to Paty's for a mangoneada or just a scoop of ice cream. The last time we went in (Feb.5th,2016) We walked in and immediately walked out without a second guess. It smelled like something had died and the floors were so disgusting. I imagine it was chamoy that some kid spilled and left smeared all over half of the floor in the dining area but because of the smell and how humid it was inside (like the climate control was broken and there was no ventilation) We thought it was blood all over the floor. The environment was so bad we will never go in there again. Too bad because it was "our spot" The service was never really good. They take your order without a friendly gesture and pretty obvious they don't clean AT ALL. read more

First off, right when you walk in it feels great. The colors of te room are vibrant and inviting. The visuals of the food on the left side of the wall is great to get customers a feel of how it looks with its clean and precise images. Ive been in here a good amount of times and i must warn you: only go in here if you are patient. Girls working there are young and are a bit slow which is confusing cause they're young, right? The line gets unorganized and frustrating at times--again, PATIENCE. Another thing is maintance. I know they keep the back of the counter clean, but the tables and walls where customers eat are DIRTY & DISGUSTING. Thats one thing i'll never do again, is eat my food on those tables. Theres gunk on the walls from what looks like weeks ago and there floor always has dirted up stains. Gross. All in all, they need to be more organized, CLEANER & engage in better customer service. This place gets packed so maybe even expanding & moving locations would be better. read more

The only reason why I didn't give this place the full five stars is because they do take a very long time to make the order.
